Manufacturing of the Steering Rod
Velcer, Miroslav ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of the lower control arm of the rear axle made of aluminium alloy EN AW-6082 T6 for the Porsche 996. The technology of die forging on screw presses is chosen for the production, which is the focus of the theoretical part of the thesis. At the beginning of the practical part, the manufacturability of the part is evaluated and the basic process parameters such as technological allowances, machining allowances, limit deviations and the shape of the forging groove are determined according to the standards. With the help of a set of cross-sections, the shape of the ideal forging is constructed. Based on it, the dimensions of the forging produced by cross wedge rolling are determined. The selection of cutting and heating of the blank is related to this issue. Based on the determined parameters, a forging tool is constructed. Furthermore, the calculation of the forging force according to Tomlenov is performed, on the basis of which the screw press is selected. To verify the functionality of the forging tool with the given forging die and to analyze the process including the force parameters, numerical simulation is carried out in Simufact Forming software using finite element method.

The master 's thesis deals with the design of a tool for a TV bracket with an expected production of 300,000 pieces per year. After a review of possible production technologies, production in a progressive compound tool that combines shearing and bending was chosen. DC01 material with a thickness of 2 mm in coil was selected for the production of the part with a 52.23% utilization according to the selected cutting plan. Then, a manufacturing process was established for the production of the part, which will be made in six steps. Furthermore, the total forming force of 893,1 kN and the forming work of 1355,8 J were calculated. The mechanical press was equipped with an automatic material feeder ARPL RAL 250 from Attl a spol s.r.o. After the design of the combined progressive tooling, the functional dimensions were determined and control calculations for the critical sections were performed, all of which were met.

The thesis deals with the solution of the design of the production of a holder for compact switchgear cabinets. The production series was set at 400,000 pcs/year. The part will be made from DC01 steel with a thickness of 2 mm. The equivalent is steel 11 321. Of the possible production variants, the technology of the progressive forming tool was chosen. The arrangement of the blank on the sheet metal strip is a two-row layout, where two components will be produced at once. A coil of sheet metal with exact dimensions was chosen as the semifinished product. The material utilization coefficient is 80.18 %. The part is manufactured in 8 steps and the necessary technological and structural calculations were made for this variant. The total force to produce the part is 1,240 kN. The machine selected is an eccentric crank press from the company Formetal s.r.o., with the designation CC 160. After the actual production, the components will still be galvanized.

Manufacturing of a shift fork of a motorcycle
Vysloužil, Oldřich ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the design of production technology of the shift fork in the gear box in a Jawa motorcycle. The 16MnCr5 (1.7131) basic material, with its thickness of 2.5 mm, was chosen for production of the bent sheet metal part, which is going to be subsequently heat treated. As the most suitable production method for the given series of 25,000 pcs. per year, was selected production method in the compound progressive tool, which combines shearing and bending. To select forming technologies, a short study of literature was made, which was supplemented by determination of the production process. The calculations, which were needed to verify the technological conditions, were made for the selected the manufacturing process of the part and also to select the machine. An APA-60 type eccentric press was chosen according to the determined total forming force. The machine is supplemented with a device that nebale production automation, which is an unwinding stand for a scroll metal sheet and a step feeder. At the end, a description and visualization of the tool is presented.

Optimization of a machine assembly process
Obořil, Filip ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the optimization of the assembly of a machine designed for printing paper material. In the introduction, the company Windmöller & Hölscher, with which the work was collaborated, is introduced. The theoretical part is focused on lean production methods and types of industrial printing. In the practical part, the design is optimized with the use of lean production, adjustment of the assembly procedure, creation of instructions and adjustment of the layout of the assembly box. The proposed optimizations are subsequently evaluated from a financial point of view and, if possible, the return on investment is calculated.

Manufacturing of a post anchor base by compound tool
Pokorný, Michal ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a production process of an anchor, which is used to connect wooden beams to a concrete base. Steel sheet 11 375 of a 4 mm thickness was chosen for the production. A combination of cutting and bending technologies will be used to achieve the desired shape of the component. Technological and control calculations were performed for the cutting and bending operations. Based on the calculations, the compound tool was designed and constructed and a drawing documentation of it was created. A semi-finished product in the form of a roll sheet will be used for production. The PMV 300 mechanical press, supplemented by a feeding line, was proposed as a suitable machine for production.

Layout solution of the machining center producing the shaft component
Göth, Karel ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a machining center for a shaft-shaped component. For the design of the machine shop, it is necessary to obtain information from the production process and the drawing. This information, together with the number of pieces produced per year and the standard time for each machining operation, will allow the design to be carried out. In the first step, it is necessary to carry out capacity calculations, which will give us the necessary number of workers, machines, manual workplaces and production and non-production areas. Following this, it is necessary to place the machines on the production area based on the established method of arranging the machines. In addition to the production equipment, various other aspects of the production hall will also be located in this step, such as toilets, changing rooms, foremen's office, workshops, etc. It is necessary to ensure the optimal location of the individual parts of the production with the help of the Sankey diagram, which will allow us to visualize the material flow. The flow of material needs to be solved at multiple levels, namely inter-object transport of material, inter-operational transfers of material, technological operations with material and waste management. At the end, an economic evaluation of the proposed giant will be carried out.

Proposal warehouse in engineering company
Čermák, Jan ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design of a new warehouse of an input material in an unnamed engineering company. The main intention is to create a well arranged and functional storage of metal sheets, tubes, HSS profiles and HEB profiles. The first part of the thesis includes a theoretical introduction to the problematics of storage, then the thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of production and storage in the company. The warehouse design is made with the data about material consumption in 2021. In total, two variants of the warehouse solutions were designed. The difference is in the location of the warehouse and in the handling equipment, that was used. Forklift trucks are used in the first variant and crane handling is in the second. Disposition of the warehouse was solved based on the condition analysis, provided data, and performed calculations for the target year 2023. In conclusion was performed a technical and economical evaluation of the proposals, where both variants were compared. The warehouse design is supplemented by the drawing documentation of both solution variants.

The thesis deals with the design of the production of a crane hook made of C45 steel. After evaluating suitable technologies, die forging on a mechanical press was chosen. Based on the analysis of technological technology, the shape of the part was modified and all necessary additions and limit deviations of forging dimensions were determined. The semi-finished product with a diameter of 65 mm and a length of 380 mm will be formed on a cross wedge rolling mill, bent on a separate press and subsequently forged. The crank forging press LZK 3150 B from the company ŠMERAL Brno a. S., With a nominal forming force of 31.5 MN, was chosen from the calculated forming force. The construction of the dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of 19,552 steel with subsequent heat treatment.
