The bachelor’s thesis deals with an analysis of material flow between manufacturing sectors connected by an intervening storage. The first part is focused on detailed analysis of logistics and inventory theory. The second part is focused on a simulation model creation. The simulations are realized in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software, developed by the Siemens company. At the end of the thesis there is a conclusion of the analyses.

The content of this bachelor thesis is a search analysis of selected intra-company manipulation devices used in electronic industry. The analysis includes description of each type, their construction and technical parameters. This bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using linear programming methods in transport tasks. The work consists of two parts. The first part deals with the essence of linear programming, which can be used to solve a number of optimization problems, in this work are the key transport problems. The second part deals with the comparison of methods for optimizing transport tasks. The aim of this work is to evaluate the most suitable method that can find application in business practice. Using the methods of linear programming, initial solutions to tasks will be found to determine the quantity and cost incurred in the distribution of goods from suppliers to customers. Then optimal solutions will be found.
Modification of material flow in production area

The content of this bachelor thesis is to create a simulation model of the production process and logistics chain in order to evaluate the impacts of proposed changes in the production process parameters. The simulation model is created by Plant Simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. An analysis of the discussed area i salso included in the thesis. With the help of the simulation model it is tested if the modification of the production pro-cess elements has a positive effect on the production characteristics of the given area.

The content of this bachelor thesis is a search analysis of selected logistics concepts of inventory management and the creation of a simulation model of the logistic circuit within the intra-company transport. Part of the research section is an explanation of basic logistic concepts, an evaluation of individual inventory management concepts and a description of how to optimize them. The simulation model is created in Siemens Plant Simulation software. By simulating different variants of model parameter settings, the conditions for controlling the verified logistic circuit were designed.

Results of experiments are providing recommendations.
