How does a Work of Popular Literature Become World-known?

J'ai essaié d'examiner de différents points de vue une oeuvre littéraire qui est devenue mondialement connue et lue par le grand public dans le monde entier; bien que sans de grandes qualités littéraires. A titre d'exemple, j'ai choisi l'oeuvre d'Anne et Serge Golon Angélique, marquise des anges. Du point de vue littéraire, nous pouvons classer cete oeuvre dans le domaine de la littérature populaire, donc littérature qui vise une communication spontannée avec le lecteur et veut etre généralement accessible. Angélique peut appartenir aux plusieurs genres: a la littérature féminine, au roman d'aventure, au roman historique ou érotique. Le but principal du roman n'est pas de nous révéler des faits sur la réalité, de nous amener a penser et de nous faire vivre une expérience esthétique singuliere, mais de raconter et faire savourer des aventures de la belle héroine. Les oeuvres qui ont le succes chez le vaste public, donc deviennent des best-sellers et sont considérées par lui comme la grande littérature sont d'habitude (dans notre époque) celles qui sont en général classées dans la littérature populaire, mais qui ont recours au kitsch. The Role of NGSs Focusing on Natural Birt Issue from their Clients' Perspective

Defining the key points of the debate on natural birth between the civic sector organizations concerned with this issue and the healthcare institutions in the Czech Republic, this master's thesis introduces the natural birth as a social issue, and presents the motives of civic sector organizations to get involved in this field. An overview of organizations involved and their activities is also provided. Based on qualitative research, this thesis focuses on the perspective of women mothers who were clients of these institutions, in particular their perception of the current situation in the Czech Republic, their motives for natural birth, their experience with particular providers of services in this field.

Image of Czech family in weekly Reflex and Respekt in volume 1993 and 2008

The diploma thesis "Image of Czech family in Weekly Reflex and Respekt in Volume 1993 and 2008" concentrates on family in the Czech Republic and how it is reflected by two weekly, Reflex and Respekt, in two observed years, 1993 and 2008. In the first ,theoretical part, there is a historical overview of Czech family and launch and developement of both magazines. The second, practical part, is the research itself. The method used for the research was the qualitative interpretative analysis. Each article was coded by a name of each theme group that is connected with problems of Czech family. The developement of magazines was defined by analysing changes and movements of each group between the years 1993 and 2008. These differences are caused by both socioeconomic changes and developement of political landscape within the Czech society as well as individual experience of particular journalists and editorial offices.

Discourse of commercial radio stations in the Czech Republic with the focus on Radio Impuls

The thesis on "Discourse of commercial radio stations in the Czech Republic with focus on Radio Impuls" describes the basic features of the complex discursive environment of the named commercial radio station. It deals with selected processes and techniques, which are used to attract attention of the Czech media audience. Discourse is seen as an interrelated set of texts and practices of their production, dissemination and reception, which construct our social reality. Discourse analysis of Radio Impuls is based on critical discourse analysis according to Norman Fairclough. The operating method is the qualitative analysis of selected spoken texts based on attentive listening. This diploma paper also describes developments in the broadcasting part of the Czech media landscape after the fall of totalitarianism and considers the impact of market logic expansion on the radio content.

The profile of an enducationist in children's homes

This dissertation presents the general profile of an educationist in a children's home. It views the profession from two points: both individual aspect of its performance and from up-to-date state of children's homes and possibilities of institutional upbringing. The dissertation links theoretically defined legal, pedagogical and social context of institutional upbringing with actual working of children's homes and work of educationals in them. One partial goal of this dissertation was to answer following questions: What are the conditions of working in this profession? What singificant factors is it influenced by? What troubles may be hidden in educationst's job? What possibilities does it, on the other hand, offer? Different subjects were studied in five different children's homes, in Prague, Central Bohemia and in the district of Zlín. I focused on non-private children's homes. The method used in theoretical part is secondary analysis of available literature and references. Practical part of qualitative research is based on semi-structured interviews I conducted with 14 educationists. The reasons of a frequent failure in promoting kaizen to Czech employees

This diploma thesis deals with problems which often occur during implementation of kaizen philosophy into economic practice in Czech environment. Many Czech companies that adopted this philosophy do not reach such good results, compared to companies in Japan. Czech employee's do not accept it in good way. Thus the target of this thesis is to find out possible causes of this unfavourable situation. In theoetical parts, kaizen phiosophy and other related factors such as organizational culture are described. Furthermore, most frequent kaizen practice and its most important effects are described well as a brief history of it in Japan, USA, and Czech. Real implementations of kaizen in three companies in Czech Republic are analyzed in empirical part of this thesis. Most important points of this part are qualitative research (interviews with employees of these three companies) and quantitative research (questionares were filled by employees in one of these firms). The outputs of the thesis are general as well as specific suggestions for these three companies.

Title: Doping in Sport Objective: Process information about doping, anti-doping rules prohibited Substances sanctions, doping controls, ethics and education in sport. Comprehend the causes and consequences of doping, to try to find a consensus between repression and prevention of doping as a possible solution to the situation and selected Doping kauzách highlight the practical course of a doping offense. Methods: The thesis is a theoretical nature, using qualitative methods: interprets, compares and analyzes the texts collected searches. From obtained work draws conclusions. The results: Diploma thesis highlights the problem of doping in sport from different points of view on the matter. Teachers and pupils - producers and consumers of school climate

The aim of this work is to organize information relating to school climate, with an emphasis on classroom climate. The most important producers and consumers of climate are teachers and pupils, who participate in the creation of mutual interactions. These interactions can be seen in each category (such as communication, teaching methods and activities, participation of pupils, etc.), which cover the various components such as class climate. The climate in the classroom can not only perceive but also to measure. In this thesis dealing with the different ways of testing the climate - both qualitative and quantitative. Analyzing the strengths and weaknesses, pointing to the dangers of their use. Research section presents two phases of research. The first is the quantitative measurement in a large sample of 7th elementary school classes and multi-grammar schools. The second phase to verify the use of several tools for measuring the climate in the classroom. Research is part of the discussion, which not only provides answers to research questions, but generally analyzes the detection of climate in the school classroom.

Means of subsistence of Roma women from socially excluded locations in Liberec

The thesis deals with the issue of social exclusion and unemployment in general including its causes and consequences in relation to Roma women. In detail it focuses on various aspects of their lifestyle including its traditional forms as well as current lifestyle varieties. The aim of the thesis is to search for answers to the key question which strategies do Roma women utilise in socially excluded locations in order to obtain means for their subsistence and what are the roots of these strategies. The introductory part deals with theoretical background of the area - i.e. the concept of social exclusion, unemployment, the position of Roma people in the Czech society and their subsistence strategies. The empirical part presents the results of qualitative research as well as the interpretation of these results. It analyses the subsistence strategies of Roma women and points out certain shortcomings in their employment, access to illicit employment and dependence on social benefits.

Phonetic literacy of Czech secondary school pupils in the Russian language

The dissertation deals with the pronunciation of Czech pupils in the Russian language. In this work, the phonetic literacy is defined and the attention is paid to its formation. The text is divided into three basic parts - the first is devoted to theoretical foundations which influence pupils' acquisition of the phonological system of a foreign language (from the linguistic, psychological and lingvodidactic points of view); the second part summarizes the results of the analysis of the relationship of Russian language teachers to the examined problem, the results of an analysis of available textbook sets and it describes a performed phonetic testing of secondary school pupils including the interpretation of its results; in the third part of the thesis there is a synthesis of the findings from both preceding chapters, followed by a discussion. During the research within the domain of the dissertation focus, quantitative and qualitative methods of educational research were used: a survey, content analysis of textbook sets, phonetic testing and analysis of recordings of students' authentic speech. The work provides a comprehensive view of the examined problem in the context of the current situation when the Russian language at Czech schools is taught as L3.
