Implementation of DMS in an editorial environment

This thesis deals with various aspects of implementation of a DMS in an editorial environment. It's aim is to determine and describe a suitable way to specify the features of the system to satisfy the client as well as the needs of the users of proposed system. It also determines the features of such system and explains the meaning and usability potential of these features. It compares various open source systems available to date and focuses on the possibility of using these to fulfill client's needs. The text also contains an example of a specification created to meet the needs of a real client.

Personal and social deixis in political speeches by Jean-Marie Le Pen and Marine Le Pen (Jana Vlčková) Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the political speeches of the two National Front representatives - Jean-Marie Le Pen and Marine Le Pen. The text compares the personal and social deixis means used by both speakers in comparable communication situations. The theoretical part defines the communicational situation circumstances, the argumentation and the persuasive technics in the political speeches, as well as the personal and social deixis means. The ensuing analysis of the political speech corpus is inserted in the frame of the political party programme. We accept the method of the speech analysis according to the occurrence of the particular language means. The quantitative analysis is developed by examples of the given means in particular languages contexts. On the one hand, the text offers a comparison of the means used in different communication situations. On the other hand, it shows the differences of both speakers' expressing. Thus it brings a specific perspective in the view of differences between both politicians. Explicitness and explicitation in translation

V posledních letech se stále více translatologů věnuje výzkumu univerzálií překladu, mezi něž patří i explicitace. Tato práce se zabývá problematikou explicitnosti a explicitace v populárně-naučných textech z oblasti historie na jazykové dvojici čeština a němčina a ověřuje platnost explicitační hypotézy, podle které v překladech vždy dochází k explicitaci bez ohledu na dané jazykové a textové systémy. Explicitace je v předkládané práci tedy zkoumána jako univerzálie překladu, ačkoli se zároveň poukazuje na některé další faktory, které se na jejím vzniku mohou podílet (rozdílné stylistické preference, interference z jazyka originálu, idiolekt překladatele atd.). K výzkumu explicitace tato práce využívá nástrojů korpusové lingvistiky. Kapitola Stav zkoumané problematiky uvádí přehled dosavadních prací publikovaných na téma explicitace. Hlavní důraz je zde kladen na zkoumání explicitace jako univerzálie, ale jsou zde zmíněny i některé práce zabývající se explicitací jako překladatelským postupem a příčinou prodlužování překladu, jako důsledkem jazykově-systémových a stylistických rozdílů mezi jazyky, jako důsledkem kognitivního procesu při překladu a z hlediska teorie relevance. Comparison of enterprise environment in Germany and in small open economy in Central Europe pointing out the taxes.

My diploma work describes comparison of enterprise and tax environment in Germany and in Visegrad group (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland). The goal of my work is to compare mainly the West and East Germany and Visegrad group, as well as to compare the described countries each other. The main source used in the work is analysis of the European Bank for Research and Development considered the business environment in the investigated countries. This analysis is closely described in the first chapter. The short description of the tax system in Germany and Visegrad group can you find in the second chapter. I chose only the taxes, which significantly influence the business decision. In the third chapter, I realized the comparison of all described facts and tried to find relations between the investigated countries each other, as well as between the every single indicator (e. g. if the business environment depends on the macroeconomic environment, etc.).

Possible solutions in the domain of the "Human resources management" in the information system of an organization

My study focuses on methods of the human resources management in an information company. Human resources management and personal information systems present nowadays a very important aspect not only in terms of a management but also in terms of long-term company strategies. Proper human resources management and information system functioning provide an organization with a priceless competitive advantage in the form of effective usage of human resources. At first, human resources management is examined from the theoretic point of view and after that these theoretical needs are set against possibilities of a usage of personal information systems. Consequently, different functions of personal information systems and their supply on the Czech market are analyzed. In the separate chapter I bring in a practical example which summarizes the present state of human resources management and personal information systems in the Tyllco s.r.o. company and which also comprises my recommendation for an improvement.

The Language Analysis of Selected Baroque Songs Contained in the Kancionálu českém of Václav Matěj Šteyer

Práce je zaměřena na jazykovou analýzu baroknich pisní, které jsou obsaženy v Kancionálu českém Václava Matěje Šteyera a dříve nebyly zařazeny do jiných kancionálů. Součástí práce je textologický průzkum, jehož účelem bylo získat materiál k jazykovému rozboru. Práce je členěna do kapitol zabývajících se pravopisem a rozborem hláskoslovným, morfologickým, syntaktickým a lexikálním. Je připojena i stylistická analýza. Součástí diplomové práce je kapitola zaměřená na internetovou databázi Hymnorum thesaurus Bohemicus a tři přílohy, které obsahuji plánovanou podobu thesauru české hymnologie dle Vladimíra Helferta, obsah 2. vydání Kancionálu českého a transkripci 134 písní, z nichž jazykový rozbor vychází. The Poets Charles Cros, Tristan Corbière and Jules Laforgue in the Rendition of Vladimír Holan

The work is concerned with the French artists of the cursed poets Charles Cros, Tristan Corbière and Jules Laforgue in rendition of the Czech poet and translator Vladimír Holan. The first part is dedicated to an age-long tradition of the Czech- French relations. In the second part the work deals with a literary-theoretical background of the Czech and French poetry and with the point of view of a literary criticism to the studied poets of the symbolism and the decadence and to Holan. The third part analyses the poetic universe and a concrete version of original poems. Their translation by Vladimír Holan the work examines then. Concurrently, the work judges the common constituents of the production of the chosen French poets and of Vladimír Holan. Afterwards, it assesses a doing of the translator in transposing the French poems to the Czech language environment.

The real estate appraisal as a collateral

The real estate appraisal within the banking industry is a specific discipline. Hence, there is a lack of theoretical background, especially in the Czech language. The aim of this work has two main parts. Firstly, there are analysed potential valuation bases and concrete approaches which are offered. Secondly, it is focused on practical determination the market value and the collateral value of the real property, regarding the current approaches using in the Czech banking industry.

Parallel Narrative: Case study

The thesis will be based on the book "The 21st Century Screenplay" by Linda Aronson. The first chapter will describe the six different parallel narratives from the book, while the most of the thesis will be based on Tandem Narrative which I will try to explain through the case study of three films: Traffic(Steven Soderbergh, 2000), Crimes and Misdemeanors ( Woody Allen, 1989) and Man is not a bird (Dusan Makavejev, 1965).

Data quality in the business information database environment

This master thesis is concerned with the choice of suitable data quality dimensions for a particular database of economy information and proposes and implements metrics for its assessment. The aim of this paper is to define the term data quality in the context of economy information database and possible ways to measure it. Based on dimensions suitable to observe, a list of metrics was created and subsequently implemented in SQL query language, alternatively in a procedural extension Transact SQL. These metrics were also tested with the use of real data and the results were provided with a commentary. The main asset of this work is its complex processing of the data quality topic, from theoretical term definition to particular implementation of individual metrics. Finally, this study offers a variety of both theoretical and practical directions fort this issue to be further researched.
