The revival reference of Daniel Sloboda the priest in Rusava
Pavelka, Jaroslav ; Hlavačka, Milan (advisor) ; Randák, Jan (referee)
An evangelical priest, national revivalist, noted natural scientist (a meteorologist and botanist). In this way it is possible to introduce briefly the noted personality of MoravianSlovak, or if you like, Rusava history. Daniel Sloboda (1809-1888) was bom in Skalica, a Slovak town, but aH his life he worked in Rusava, a Walachian vi11age in Moravia. In the beginning his national-revivalistic activity was hampered by the local people's distrust, who professed two kinds of religion - the Catholic and evangelical. In spite of that he played an important role in construction of the school and church in Rusava and also in the improvement of the standart of living of the local inhabitants. His profession of priest, the outlook of the inteHectual and broad contacts with other noted personalities of the National Revival movement in Moravia and Bohemia contributed to his work. This diploma work has two objectives - first it wants to show the life and contribution of Daniel Sloboda, sometimes unjustly neglected in "the large scope" of history, albeit being important for his activity and contribution not only for Rusava, then this work makes an effort to place the personality of Daniel Sloboda into the context of the history of the National Revival movement in Moravia.

The rainfall-runoff formation from a small catchment
Tesař, Miroslav ; Šír, Miloslav ; Syrovátka, Oldřich ; Bayer, T. ; Eliáš, Václav
We dedicate this contribution to the question how the relation of outflow of water from the soil into the transport collector determined by hydropedological methods bears with the discharge at the closure profile of a small forest catchment in the course of a vegetation season. In connection with this phenomena we investigate how much is such catchment homogenous. The monitored catchments Liz and Albrechtec are sloping, their geological subsoil is formed of impermeable bottom and they don't contain significant parts with ground water level. The soil cover is composed of several horizons with different aquifer properties, but the precipitated water largely infiltrates downwards the soil, so that a surface and subsurface runoff angle wise downhill to the watercourse is a very rare phenomena which appears at catastrophic rains only. The forest stand is represented by spruce. The both catchments are located in the elevation from 700 to 1000 m a.s.l. in the mountain region of Šumava.

The third part is focused on how the changes in the number of population affect the revenue part of the local council's budget; and the last part deals with the impact of these changes on the expenditure part. The large dependence on change in the number of population was demonstrated at most of tax revenues. On the other hand at expenditures there are dependent only two kinds, expenditures for protection of environment and expenditures for local authority.
