The bachelor thesis deals with the use of UML language during a development of information systems. Mainly modeling of processes is under way inside of the system, what represents the use of basic managerial skills, especially the organization. Introductory of thesis set UML language to surroundings of development of information system and introduce characteristics of UML. The core of thesis is created by a model of information system.

Microsoft's Platform as a Service from the Provider's Perspective

This work deals with providing of a Microsoft's platform as a service from the view of the provider. The goal of this work is to identify and characterize activities which must be taken by a company interested in providing the Microsoft's platform as a service, in order to be successful. In the preliminary part of the work, basic concepts of providing IT services over the Internet, also known as a cloud computing, are described. Author further clarifies what exactly Microsoft's platform is, how it can be provided, who can become a provider and what conditions need to be fulfill in order to happen so. The final part of this work identifies basic activities that are necessary to be taken for a company interested in providing Microsoft's platform as a service to actually become a provider. To make sure that all the activities are well understood, author classifies them in to four dimensions. These dimensions are activities related to fulfill Microsoft's conditions, activities related to build an infrastructure, activities related to providing the platform and finally activities related to securing the platform. All the activities are then described in the detail and author tries to point out all the weak aspects of each activity.

Thermal regime of moraine cover in the Adygene valley, Kyrgyz Range

Submitted Bachelor thesis is focused on thermal regime of the morain covering, which is one of the main indicators of the extension in periglacial and glacial zone in the mountain environment. Introductory part is concluded from themed literature and is primarily focused on the characteristics of the thermal regime of sediments and their relationship to the boundaries of the mountain permafrost, position of equilibrium snow line and temperature-based mountain glaciers. The following sections of this work are describing physical and geographic conditions of the valley of Adygine in Kyrgyz Range area (northern Tien-Shan) as well as the methodologhy of the used work The main part of this document is the evaluation of measured temperature in the morain cover in the area of interest. At first from general point of view, then in terms of freeze-thaw characteristics and finally relate these findings to the local conditions of the glaciál environment. According to the measured results, is it clear that there are many factors influencing the soil temperature regime. Among the most fundamental, the most important include air temperature, local circulation conditions, snow cover and local habitat conditions. Marketing communication of the Gambrinus brand focused on consumer competitions between 2009-2010

This bachelors thesis concerns the marketing communication of the Gambrinus brand and is focused especially on consumer competitions between 2009-2010. With the help of the descriptive method this thesis is trying to show the look of the advertising campaigns of this brand, which has for a long time been holding first place in popularity and consumption in the Czech beer market. The introductory part shows the historical developments that contributed to building strong foundations of the brand, built on solid values and a progressive development of marketing activities. It introduces Gambrinus in terms of the portfolio of Plzeňský Prazdroj and shows its definition compared with the other brands, especially compared to the targeted groups. The core of this thesis introduces the consumer competitions, which took place during those 2 years. It shows their principles, gains and media campaigns that accompanied them. Lightly outlined the strengths and weaknesses of these competitions and it points out the fact that in principle all the competitions are the same. The conclusion of my thesis evaluates individual competitions and outlines which route Gambrinus should take, especially what could possibly be done to improve the competitions. Forgotten Generation. Independent Activities and Samizdat in the Pilsen Region in the 80ies of the 20th Century.

The degree work deals with the last century period of the 80s and 90s in the Pilsen region. Generally, it was time of lack of freedom and intolerance when all the state power was concentrated in one political party - the Czechoslovak Communist Party. With support of police this party manipulated with citizens' dignity, rights and thinking. Through description of some civic activities the work records groups of independent thinking in the Pilsen region. These activities were source of independent atmosphere; that's why they were supervised by the state power; their protagonists were monitored and their activities were supressed. In the work the independent areas are divided into chapters: church, music, scouting, camping, ecology. Another chapter focuses on the local dissent activities. Its members were predominantly from the above mentioned groups. Last chapter deals with unofficial publishing (samizdat) in this period. The aim of the degree work is to find (or at least to outline) the starting points and reasons that finally brought members of various groups (often diametrically opposite) together on the way of independent activities, dissent and unofficial publishing (samizdat).

The Cultural and Social Life in Bystřici pod Hostýnem during the Czechoslovak First Republic

Ve své práci jsem se zabývala kulturním a společenským životem v Bystřici pod Hostýnem v meziválečném období. Soustředila jsem se na shromáždění základních údajů o spolkovém životě ve městě s bližším zastavením u těch spolků a institucí, které na život města měly největší vliv. Pozornost jsem rovněž věnovala osobnostem, které za kulturními akcemi stály, nebo na kulturní a společenské dění nejvíce působily. Název mé práce je časově i obsahově poměrně omezený. Snažila jsem se proto v úvodní kapitole dát kulturní dějiny města do souvislostí s hospodářským apolitickým vývojem ve městě, protože i ten má na rozvoj kulturních aktivit nesporný vliv. Mnohá zde nastíněná témata, například činnost bystřického Sokola, instituce Krajinského muzea, aktivity a osobnost bystřického rodáka Františka Táborského, byla natolik bohatá, zajímavá a rozsáhlá, že by si zasloužila i samostatné zpracování. Bystřice pod Hostýnem byla na počátku 20. století městečkem s bezmála čtyřmi tisíci obyvateli, s kostelem na náměstí a zámkem. Byla sídlem soudu i berního úřadu a se světem byla spojena železnicí. Potud se podobala mnoha jiným místům stejné velikosti. Ne zcela obvyklá byla její tradice klimatického lázeňského místa. Za naprosto nezaměnitelnou pak lze označit její polohu na úpatí posvátného Hostýna. Lázeňští hosté, mezi kterými...

Financing innovative SMEs

The goal of this thesis is to describe the possibilities of SMEs to finance their innovation activities. In the first chapter we specify and define SMEs, their advantages and disadvantages. We use statistical analysis to prove, how they contribute on the changes of selected macroeconomic measures. The second chapter deals with the different tools and ways to finance SMEs, as well as the main providers of institutional support for SMEs. The last chapter designs the Regional innovation fund as an institution providing seed and start-up financing.

Comparison of CSR activities of companies on the czech market and their contribution to society

The paper focuses on evaluation of corporate social responsibility in Starbucks and Tchibo. To fulfil this aim is used the analysis of CSR activities of companies mentioned above. The indispensable part of this paper is also research in form of a questionnaire, that investigates the public awareness of sustainable activities and it´s attitude to this issue. In the first part of this paper can be found a theoretical introduction to the problem, two following chapters are focused on Starbucks and Tchibo. The last part of the paper is dedicated to the questionnaire.
