Complications during the hospitalization in patients with acute myocardial infarction treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention
Kotrč, Martin ; Pěnička, Martin (advisor)
Temu his master's thesis complications during hospitalization in patients with acute myocardial infarction treated with primary percutaneous coronary intervention of (PCI ) I chose on the basis of his great interest in cardiology and more specifically coronary heart disease. The art wants give both professionally in the future and therefore work gave me deepening of information and knowledge , which, as I hope , do I redeem in the future in their medical practice . Coronary heart disease and mortality either directly to consequences of myocardial infarction or its complications is one The forward civilizačných problems currently . In the Czech Republic was the number of hospitalizations for acute MI in 1996 26026 , the mortality rate was 157.6 males / females and 100,000 109,2 / 100 000 inhabitants . In 2000 it was with acute MI 22 042 hospitalized with a decrease in mortality rates among men 18% and 17% of women . Average , treating time was between the years 1994 and 1999 shortened from 12.7 to 8.9 per day , ie about 30 %. but still diseases circulation system in the Czech Republic remain the leading cause of and causing the death of 54.9 % of all deaths ( ÚZIS , 2000). Prehospitalizačná mortality during the past 30 years decreased only slightly , but on the other hand , due to rapid development of...

The Specifics of Telephonic Crisis Intervention of Seniors
Skýpalová, Veronika ; Sivek, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Černá Lammelová, Alexandra (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the specificity of work with seniors on the help line. The study mainly concerned with the main goals, the methods and the specificities of telephonic crisis intervention of seniors in the Czech Republic. In the first part of this thesis the main theoretic recourses which are necessary for understanding the second part of this study are discussed. Particularly this part is engaged in crisis and its meaning in human lives, the professional help in crisis and primarily telephonic help. In this part there are also specified the typical changes in old age and the development crisis in old age which may give a reason for calling the help line. The second part of this thesis introduces one of two help lines for seniors in the Czech Republic. The statistic data of this help line are presented in this part, too. This part also contains the case reports resulting from the development crisis and detailed description of the methodisc of work with seniors. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Characteristic position of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the European Union illustated on the event of British rebate
Brožová, Lucie ; Rovná, Lenka (advisor) ; Urban, Luděk (referee)
This thesis deals with the problem of British attitude towards European integration. The relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union is described via the existence of a phenomenon of British European budget rebate. The budget rebate is a British reduction in price of the cost of contribution annually sent to the common European Union's budget. It was won by the Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in Fontainebleau Summit in 1984. The main reason for giving Great Britain this privilege was the fact that the UK was one of the biggest net contributor to the budget. On the other hand, the UK received too little from the budget because it had only a small agricultural sector. The European budget was aimed primarily for subsidising the European farmers. The UK's annual VAT-based contribution to the European budget is reduced according to a formula first set out in the Fontainebleau Agreement. This reduction is equal to 66 % of the difference between what the UK pay for the EC budget and the receipts, which the UK gets back. But, the rebate applies only as for spending within the EU and the British contribution is calculated as if the budget were financed only by VAT. The European Commission is responsible for determining and calculating the amount of the UK's abatement. It is generally calculated...

Hallucinogenic and other drugs as a cultural phenomenon
Vaňková, Jana ; Soukup, Václav (advisor) ; Matějů, Martin (referee) ; Křivohlavý, Jaro (referee)
The subject of the work is a culturological theoretical-empirical analysis of two mutually connected and related topics: l-Hallucinogenic and other drugs, their consumption-abuse and addiction 2- Prevention of abuse of hallucinogenic and other drugs - forms of prevention and content. The subject of the dissertation is the problems associated with hallucinogenic and other drugs and their interpretation in the context of factors "hallucinogenic drugs, the individual and environment-society". The dissertation will be a culturological analysis including professional contributions on the problems concerning a subject which spans multiple fields. The goal of the dissertation is to give culturological contribution both for multiple fields discusion and practical prevention Acceptance of findings and observations from other fields is therefore essential, as is finding central points and common ground for co-operation with other desired fields. The work has two parts - a theoretical part and a practical one. The theoretical section will include an analysis of three basic levels in the consumption of hallucinogenic and other drugs. We can call the first level Consumption of hallucinogenic and other drugs as a specific human behaviour - a specific human expression. The work maps the attitude to hallucinogenic and...

Study of biomolecules by Surface-enhanced Raman microspectroscopy
Šimáková, Petra ; Procházka, Marek (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Petr (referee)
This work deals with study of biomolecules using surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) microspectroscopy. For that purpose surfaces based on gold and silver colloidal nanoparticles immobilized either by silane or by drying on glass plate were tested. As a model molecule cationic free-base 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(1-methyl-4-pyridyl)porphyrin was chosen. The aim was primarily to improve sensitivity and spectral reproducibility of the mentioned SERS-active systems using an integrated Raman microspectrometer which has several advantages (better signal-to-noise ratio, shorter collection time, mapping, confocality) over a classical Raman spectrometer. The obtained results show that gold and silver nanoparticles immobilized by silane give the limits of detection of porphyrin ~ 1×10-8 M, moreover in the intact free-base form. While gold surfaces also show excellent spectral reproducibility, in the case of silver surfaces there is a great problem of frequent presence of spurious bands originating apparently from contamination by carbonaceous compounds and decomposition of silane or porphyrin itself. In the case of silver nanoparticles, drops that form a ring of aggregates with extremely high SERS enhancement after drying on glass proved more suitable.

Memory in exile
Hadžagič, Sandra ; Papoušek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Wiendl, Jan (referee) ; Brabec, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is the monographic study about the literary works of Milada Součková. It addresses methodological issues and includes a detailed interpretation of her literary works. These works are perceived as a literary unity which undergoes various transformations yet it always retains its structural identity. The individual works retain their independence and can be see as complete works in themselves. The integral principle in this exposition is the motive of memory which interlaces the studied material. The exposition was not led by any predefined or previously established methodology, but instead, it was built gradually and with respect to the studied material. The study follows the artistic methods and expressions used by the author while attempting to explain their interna I dependencies. Further, it attempts to emphasize the significant axes which unify the author's individual works, especially with regards to the changes in her cultural and existential status, i.e. her exile to the United States. It gives insight into the poetic structures in Součková's literary opus, which makes possible to draw conclusions about the poetics as well as about other factors external to her literature. Ever since her very first publication, her poetics contain an autobiographical discourse. This is observed, when by...
