Use of the information technology in the lessons of music education
Vosyková, Petra ; Holý, Radek (advisor) ; Nedělka, Michal (referee)
Thesis, entitled Use of the information technology in the lessons of music education aims to compare different approaches to teaching music education in high school, specifically to compare the form of traditional teaching with teaching by using an interactive whiteboard, in terms of their influence on memorization of curriculum. To verify the hypothesis implied that the use of interactive whiteboards in the lessons of music education has a positive impact on the level of acquired student's knowledge, I have created materials for lessons. These include both teaching material (supplied on CDROM), and verification tests, which enabled us to compare the results of the control groups of students. The analysis of the obtained results confirmed the expected hypothesis; difference between the control groups emerged, however, was not large enough to be able to clearly demonstrate that better results were caused by the use of interactive whiteboards in the classroom. Positive contribution of interactive whiteboard reflected greater involvement of students in the lessons and proactive approach to the studied topics, which in turn positively influenced the level of their acquired knowledge.

Intraspecific variability in population trends of farmland birds: influence of habitat and altitude
Hanzelka, Jan ; Reif, Jiří (advisor) ; Šálek, Miroslav (referee)
Farmland bird populations in Europe have been in decline for a long time. Agricultural intensification and growing a large share of crops that provide suboptimal breeding habitat could be the main causes of the observed decline. To explore these possible drivers, I focused on population trends of farmland bird species in different habitats in the Czech Republic over the periods 1982-1990 and 1990-2010. Specifically, I focused on the variability in trends within each species in respect to the differences in landscape management between the lowlands and mid-altitude areas before and after 1990. The expected effect of intensive farming in the lowlands until 1990 was reflected by a strong decline in populations of Northern Lapwing and Yellowhammer. The influence of less intensive farming in mid-altitude areas causing moderate population decline was confirmed rather by shrubs and trees species than farmland specialists. After 1990, less intensive farming in the lowlands should reduce the decline, which may have occurred, but compelling comparison of population trends between the two time periods was not possible for most species due to the lack of data. On the contrary, more intensive population decline in mid-altitudes after 1990, which should be the response to arable land abandonment, was not...

Optické sondy a jejich přesnost měření
Vejražka, Jiří ; Večeř, Marek ; Orvalho, Sandra ; Sechet, P. ; Cartellier, A.
The optical probes are commonly used for experimental measurements in gas-liquid multiphase systems. During the measurement, it is evaluated the intensity of the light, which reflects from the tip of the optical fiber placed in the measuring point. From the obtained signals, it is possible to evaluate the bubble residence time, local gas hold-up and it is possible to estimate the size and the velocity of the bubbles. In this study, the signal of the optical probe is compared with the data obtained by direct observation by high-speed camera. It was found that optical probe works well in the case of large and fast moving bubbles. In the case of small and slow bubbles the data measured by optical probe are not usable. The dimensionless criterion for minimal Weber number characterizing the reliability of the probe was derived on the base of motion equation for the bubbles.

Analysis of the motifs in the novel "Sansibar oder Der letzte Grund" by Alfred Andersch
Turinek, Jakub ; Stromšík, Jiří (referee) ; Tvrdík, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to analyse motives of Alfred Andersch's novel "Sansibar oder Der letzte Grund" (Flight to Afar) which was written in 1957. The first chapter of the thesis looks at the West German literature in the first post-war years and then in 60's and 70's when both the German literature and public had to put up with the horrors of war and accusations of collective guilt. The so called "point zero" signalling the start of a new German literature is, somewhat, disputed. Twelve years of the fascist regime interrupted the continuity of German literature unlike in politics where this period marked the end of a political system. Immediately after 1945, the literary life in Germany was given a chance to analyse and process what had happened. Literature was written mainly by emigrants in this period. The volume of their production was large but many of these books could be published only after the war. The most popular genre was a historical novel. Not even authors of the "internal emigration" provided any new impetus after the war. Only the post-war literature in the FRG and writers belonging to the literary circle Group 47 managed to do this. The most frequent themes include the issue of the Nazi past, reflection of the post-war reality including the Cold War and economic miracle. In the 60's other...

Didactic interpretation of the piano sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven
Kljunič, Bojana ; Herden, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Douša, Eduard (referee) ; Hons, Miloš (referee)
For a concept of the so-called didactic interpretation of Beethoven's sonatas based on a didactic analysis of this work which could become a model usable also in other cases, where the a im will be an optimum style realization of not only these basic series of works of piano literature - both in education of piano players and in receptive forms of musical education. The presented concept of didactic analysis and interpretation is based on an objective structural analysis based on knowledge of historical, biographical and other connections. A special position is occupied by those attributes which can be explained by the language of music theory: harmony, counterpoint, music forms and music tectonics. The reason is the fact that just these disciplines were in their classical theoretical form as well as in their pedagogical application constituted on the basis of a reflection of work of Vienna classics, especially L. van Beethoven. Doctoral thesis is based on three large chapters

Morphology of the Křížový potok river channel in the Eastern Krkonoše Mountains
Dvořáková, Magdalena ; Kliment, Zdeněk (referee) ; Engel, Zbyněk (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the morphology of mountain river channels - with structures, patterns and shapes resulting from fluvial processes. The findings are documented on the Křížový potok river channel in the Eastern Krkonoše mountains. There are several specifics which influence the evolution of mountain river channels. The first one is high elevation change and big slope of the river, which determinate the formation of typical structures, such as waterfalls, cascades and steps, often related with pools. Plane bed, riffle-pool and dune-ripple also represent typical structures of mountain river channels. Specific microstructures are represented by potholes. River channels in forested mountain basins are affected by logs and wood debris, which create local barriers where fine-grained material accumulates. In the Křížový potok river channel, a high diversity of the channel structures can be seen. The most common structures are step-pools and cascades. The stream is influenced by large accumulation of delluvial sediments and wood debris which create obstacles to the flow.

Chauturová, Iva ; Kornatovský, Jiří (advisor) ; Špirk, Ivan (referee)
The desk study related to six large-sized drawing whose core topic is a Way. The only mark is to involve all inspirational sources and the other possibly outfalls of issue as well. From the way and travelling in its historical process to up-to-date wandering touched with transmaterial overlap. Various religion are pointed at the one clerical objective and call this objective by many various characters. The God, Allah or Zarathustra. This study offers a brief account of correspondencies of religion mentioned above and its reflect in an ordinary life from birth over death to rebirth.

Atomic bombings of Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 and the reflection of these events in Czechoslovac postwar media
Poláková, Michaela ; Cebe, Jan (referee) ; Köpplová, Barbara (advisor)
The diploma thesis Atomic Bombings of Japanese Cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 and the Reflection of These Events in Czech Postwar Media considers the event from year 1945 which has changed the world. This topic was also covered by Czechoslovak newspapers at the time. The propaganda of the USA and also of the Soviet Union was at high level at that time and Czechoslovak press was highly influenced by this. That?s why the end of the war and atomic bombing of the Japanese cities were for public largely misrepresented. The paper considers in detail, how the three particular newspapers ? Svobodné noviny, Lidová demokracie and Rudé právo - handled with accessible information. The author of this thesis picked up the articles in connection with the war with Japan. Author than confronted the extent of articles in particular newspapers and the rate of influence of political orientation and character of chosen newspapers on the articles content. The paper deals with question why the press redactions wrote about those events often in a tendentious way or why newspapers did not publish some of the information. The thesis summarizes how did the media work after the Second World War and how would they work at the presence.

Behavioural disturbance in adolescence
HOUSEROVÁ, Vlasta
Thesis {\clqq} Behavioural disturbance in adolescence.`` Author: Vlasta Houserová Thesis 2008 Summary: The topic of my thesis reflects the current problem in our society. It deals with a presence of disturbing behaviour among teenagers. The theoretical part not only handles particular behavioural disorders and their symptoms but also reveals causes of such behaviour; conditions, which have the effect on existing disorder, and elements, which determine their origin. Lately, the thesis introduces several ways of re-education, change in disturbing behaviour and ways of prevention. In the practical part there is a research on specific types of disorders. One of the aims is also to compare occurrence of such behaviour in cities and towns. The research was based on a questionnaire and interviews with pedagogical counsellors at particular schools.

Blaze Gratings with a Ribbed Back Slope
Krátký, Stanislav ; Meluzín, Petr ; Horáček, Miroslav ; Kolařík, Vladimír ; Matějka, Milan ; Chlumská, Jana ; Král, Stanislav
Binary relief phase-modulated gratings provide symmetrical diffraction of the incoming light beam. Asymmetrical gratings, e.g. asymmetrical triangular blazed gratings, are characteristic by an asymmetrical diffraction behavior, where one of the first diffraction orders is more important than the other one. Electron beam lithography is a suitable and flexible tool for patterning of such kind of gratings. High quality results can be readily obtained when the period of the grating is relatively large and the relief depth is relatively low, this is the case of gratings with a small blaze angle. As the blaze angle increases, the quality of result suffers from several patterning-related issues. One of the problems is a reflection of the incoming light beam from the back slope (anti-blaze facet) of the blaze grating. We propose a novel configuration, with a ribbed modulation of the back slope. This modulation is perpendicular to the direction of the grating grooves. This paper presents an analysis of the proposed blazed grating configuration. E-beam pattern generators were used to prepare a few\nsamples of blaze gratings with a ribbed back slope. One part of the experiment was performed with a Gaussianshaped beam and another one with the variable-shaped beam. Results of the experiment are presented.\nFinally, we discuss the optical performance of two blaze gratings with similar parameters, one of them is with the flat back slope and another one is with the ribbed back slope.
