Hodinářová, Marie ; Kolmanová, Simona (advisor) ; Martinec, Václav (referee)
This thesis brings together facts about one of the first theatre ensembles, which was established after the revolution in 1989 on the Hungarian territory, about The Bárka Theatre. This theatre company still successfully operates today. Some of facts I have collected in form of register. First part of my dissertation talks about the economical, historical a practical facts in the progress of The Bárka Theatre. In the second part I divulge more about some of their performances ,(Nehéz - Hard, Mulatság - Fun, Széntivánéji álom - Midsummer Night's Dream), and about some names, associated with the projects of this group. I have chosen this topic because the Hungarian cultural scene is very interesting and has a rich history but, due to languague barrier, can be very difficult for foreigners to appreciate and understand.

The Future of the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards
Drienová, Michaela ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Dobiáš, Petr (referee)
The main aim of this thesis was to discuss whether the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (NYC) is satisfactory and whether it can still fulfil the needs of modern business practises, or if it needs reform. The discussion whether the NYC is or is not in need of reform was carried out though examples of decided cases. This paper does not doubt the importance of the NYC, it appreciates that it is one of the most effective and successful treaties ever created in the entire history of commercial arbitration, if not in the whole field of rule of law. It had accomplished its goals in simplifying the whole process of enforcing foreign awards but, as the discussion in this paper suggests, NYC is not satisfying the business needs anymore. This is mainly due to the vague interpretation of various provisions within the NYC, which are not specifically addressed as to their meaning. The paper focuses on three articles, namely Article I, II and V, as those ones are the most troublesome. Those three articles provide the biggest lacuna and possibilities for interpreting judges' discretions of what they feel should be the meaning of certain NYC provisions. The discussion in this paper further shows that municipal courts are interpreting the NYC as they think best fits the facts...

Brabcová, Romana ; Dovalil, Vít (advisor) ; Doležal, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the morphosyntactic properties of selected Anglicisms and methods for their integration into German. In the first part of this work the basic concepts are identified and defined. The second part examines the verbs, which were taken from the English language due to their formation, orthographic, phonetic, and especially morphosyntactic integration. Further described is the separability and inseparability of prefixes in current grammar books and dictionaries, as well as portability features of non-German prefixes. Attention is paid to the verb downloaden. On the basis of questionnaires, which were answered only by native speakers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, as well as spontaneous situations and corpus analysis in digital German dictionaries, data was collected and analyzed. It describes the use and separability and inseparability of the prefix down. The criteria include the use of stylistic elements, binding the types of texts and genres in which the examined forms occur. The question remains whether the rules and separability and inseparability of foreign prefixes can be applied even on the verb downloaden? The findings suggest that the basis for the German word down is unclear and used as well as a separable but also as an inseparable verb.

Analysis of passive voice use according to German language textbooks for adult foreign speakers
Gregorová, Katarína ; Vrbová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Berglová, Eva (advisor)
Aim of this study is to compare Norwegian and German passive voice and to describe problems that Norwegian students can have when acquiring German passive voice. The rules how to form passive voice in Norwegian and German are similar due to the fact that these languages are related. In both languages there exists two kinds of analytical passive voice - one is based on constructions with a verb "werden"/"bli" and the other with a verb "sein"/"vrere". In addition, there are two more kinds of passive-voice in Norwegian - a complex passive voice and a synthetic s-passive. Both in German and in Norwegian can be passive voice expressed also by other constructions - by so called paraphrases of passive. Although there exist equivalents for alm ost all these paraphrases in both languages, in Norwegian are the paraphrases used not so often as in German. As a part ofthe study there were analyzed sentences created by Norwegian students. These sentences should have expressed passive voice. Surprisingly, most common mi stakes were not in the expressions of passive voice, but in vocabulary that was used.

Klápšťová, Květoslava ; Kouřimská, Milada (advisor) ; Andrášová, Hana (referee) ; Spáčilová, Libuše (referee)
The necessity of the autonomy of people studying languages, who are able to continue studying even after finishing university or secondary school, has originated due to changes in sociál and economic life. With respect to the rapid development of technology, it is important for people to acquire the skill how to learn and how to use this ability at their work. The ability of learners to acquire knowledge and skills in the autonomous way is one of the important tasks of pedagogy and didactics. For teaching foreign languages it means that learning a foreign language will become an object of reflex with the aim to achieve autonomy in the learning. This aim should be supported also by textbooks. The realisation of this aim in German language textbooks for secondary and language schools is the topič of our work. The theoretic part defines the term of the autonomous learner. The learner studying in the autonomous way can purposefully pian and control his action and link up new and previously obtained knowledge. He thinks about the course of the action being carried out and evaluates the results. He is aware of his own behaviour based on his cultural background and has empathy when dealing with representatives of different cultures. We are also dealing with sources which led to the origin of the concept of the...
