Labour relations and sociometry like a way of measurment
Knížová, Kristýna ; Kuchař, Pavel (advisor) ; Buchtík, Martin (referee)
A sociometric test measures preferential choices of members within a group. Researcher gets the choices through questionnaires in which the members make choices according to several criterions. Then he identificates the preferences and informal structure of the group. Working group is relevant for this methody thanks its basic characterics as common workplace, goals, everyday interactions etc. Nice relationships are important for employees too, there are not considered only good salary and job security. In my research I examined three different working groups and I used the sociometric test. I present results in teams seperately because every of them is unique. At the end of research I summarize the main findings. In discussion I deal with the sociometric test in the methodological way. I write here about pros and cons which I had noticed. Finally I claim that the sociometric test is a suitable method for measuring sociopreferential choices of members and the informal structure of group.

Application of centrally loaded disk on the three supports for strength evaluation of brittle materials
Chlup, Zdeněk ; Kozák, Vladislav ; Supancic, P.
Development in advanced ceramics and brittle matrix composites enables use of these materials for industrial application irrespective of their brittleness. Obtaining relevant mechanical properties is extremely essential for components design. However, mechanical properties corresponding to the real loading conditions are unknown due to absence of testing procedure providing such results. The proposed "ball on three balls" test is a promising method for biaxial loaded components. Aim of this contribution is to describe advantages and limitations when B3B test is used from both configuration and material point of view. Numerical analysis of three-dimensional model at various loading, geometrical and material conditions was used. Optimal testing conditions were determined and possible errors were identified from error analysis.

Šulák, Ladislav ; Říha, Jiří (advisor) ; Gřivna, Tomáš (referee)
The crimes of fraud, insurance fraud, credit fraud and grant fraud under s. 209, 210, 211 and 212 of the Czech criminal code This thesis presents the criminal offence of fraud under s. 209 of the Czech criminal code and its special forms - insurance fraud, credit fraud and grant fraud under s. 209, 210, 211 and 212 of the Czech criminal code. In my opinion a fraud in ist very essence represents a classic crime against property. After Velvet revolution the relevance of crimes against property has raised considerably and therefore the regulation of these crimes requires particular attention. This applies above all to the insuranec fraud and credit fraud. The insurance fraud and credit fraud were brought together with grant fraud into the Czech criminal code through an amandement in 1997. The aim of this thesis is to provide an presentation of legal regulation of fraud and its special forms and some issues related to it. I would like also to presentate controversies, which were caused by the amandement of the Czech criminal code in 1997. This thesis consist of three chapters. The first one deals with the crimes against property. The second one deals with the fraud in its general form, the other ones with its special forms. In every chapter I folow the same pattern - which means elements of the fact of...

Identity of the greek minority and its transnational activities in the CR
Hluchá, Zuzana ; Janská, Eva (advisor) ; Seidlová, Markéta (referee)
The main content of this Thesis is to assess the situation of the Greek minority in the territory of the Czech Republic in the context of its arrival, settlement and integration to the major society. The aim is to assess the current situation of the minority and its transnational activities. The Greek minority in our country is numerically stable and fully integrated into the main society. The typical feature of minority is the identification with other members of minority trough their organizations and also through the internal identification with the country of their origin (namely Greece), by the traditional culture, history, cuisine and language. The Thesis is divided into eight parts that are relevant to understanding the problems of Greek minority in our country in the context of involuntary emigration from war torn Greece in the 1950's. The methods used in this thesis were the secondary analyses and the field research (the questionnaire survey). The simple statistical methods were used to gain final result. Key worlds: Greek minority, migration, identity, transnational, diaspora.

Functional analysis of sperm quality after endocrine disruptor treatment
Linhartová, Zuzana ; Liberda, Jiří (advisor) ; Ryšlavá, Helena (referee)
The aim The aim of my study was to determine whether the selected endocrine disruptors (EDs) affect reproductive parameters of sperm. Due to two experimental models, in which was tested the influence of selected Eds, my work is divided into two parts: A) On the boar model (Sus scrofa) was tested effect of selected EDs (zearalenone (ZEN), di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), vinclozolin (VIN) on the course of capacitation, acrosome responses in vitro and changes in the detection and localization of selected proteins. B) On the fish model (Perca fluviatilis L.) was tested the influence of the selected ED- bisphenol A (BPA) on the motility and velocity of fish sperm movement. Results Mammalian model In mammalian model the course of capacitation and acrosome reaction was significantly influencing by the examined EDs in comparision with control samples. The increase of the number of marked cells during capacitation and reduce of the number of marked cells after AR compared with the differences between experimental and control samples was confirmed by the flow cytometry method. At higher concentrations EDs clearly inhibited acrosome response and thus reduce the number of sperm capable of fertilization. The relevancy of the results of detection acrosome reaction was confirmed by using various methodological...

Chronicle of the monastery of Cross-bearers with the red star in Cheb in 1829-1936 and its relevance for the monastery's history from the 1550s to 1631

Lean management - the way how to manage your company more effectively
Medková, Jana ; Khelerová, Vladimíra (advisor)
Nowadays, the world is undergoing financial and economic crisis (at least its effects die away), many companies deal with the problem how to reduce costs, streamline production etc. Particularly manufacturing enterprises face problems of high stocks of unfinished material, spoilage, low machine utilization, low efficiency of human labour, etc. These problems and deficiencies are caused by wasting. With the help of specific tools lean management seeks for the answer of how to eliminate waste and streamline processes. The resulting effect is higher added value due to lowered consumed time and money. Enterprise is lean if it can rationally and systematically use all resources available and prevent waste in all its forms. In the first part of this work I describe the historical development of lean management. Subsequently the work is focused on the whole concept of this idea with an emphasis on understanding the philosophy, principles and target areas of leadership of lean management. As the next section I list the specific tools which are being used in current practice. The practical part deals with the process of Value Stream Mapping. My findings are consequently supported by international Lean Management Study 2008 which shows the relevance of implementing lean processes.

The Interpretation of 19th-century Song-lyrics
Foltýnek, Tomáš ; Veverková, Jana (advisor) ; Volavá, Iva (referee)
The thesis comprises several chapters which contain various interpretation levels of selected music interpreters. Their performances are discussed in the chapters dedicated to the songs of Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann and Antonín Dvořák. This work which compares the methods of interpretation in the past and in the present may become a source of inspiration for future singers, music teachers and scholars. The author comes to the conclusion that contemporary song interpretation is more smooth and without excessive emotional burdens. This opinion is exemplified especially in the chapter on the interpretation of Dvořák's Biblical Songs. Moreover, the author debates the issue of song literature education at primary and secondary schools. The relevant chapter also includes a suggestion for a creative approach of the teacher to music education.
