Regional culture and the role of elites

Předmětem této rigorózní práce byl vztah lokálních elit a regionu, k němuž přísluší, nahlížený s ohledem na jejich specifické vlastnosti - v tomto případě demonstrovaný na příkladu chodského regionu a jeho duchovního vudce Jindřicha Šimona Baara. V teoretické části práce jsme se pokusili zasadit ruzné aspekty života a díla této významné osobnosti, přesahující rámec lokálního významu, do souvislostí s historickým a kulturním vývojem chodského regionu. Duraz byl kladen také na rozbor jednotlivých odvětví chodské lidové kultury, jako jsou lidové tradice a zvyky, nářečí, kroje či hudba a tanec; pozornost věnujeme i popisu současného stavu folklóru v regionu. Teoretickou část doplňuje empirické šetření, které má za úkol prokázat životnost odkazu osobnosti Baarova formátu v rámCi regionální kultury a poodhalit některé detaily každodenního života v místě. Srovnávací výzkum, prováděný v Praze, zdurazňuje specifičnost vztahu obyvatel vybraného regionu k nejvýraznějšímu zástupci lokální elity. Tato práce si neklade za cíl detailně analyzovat veškeré aspekty života konkrétního "duchovního vudce" či podat vyčerpávající přehled folklóru a lidové kultury regionu. Její snahou je najít souvislosti mezi vlivem regionálně významné osobnosti Baarova formátu a prožíváním vnitřní identity a integrity obyvatel zkoumaného...

The Integration of Children of a Young School Age in Free Time Activities

Za cíl své práce považuji zmapování situace týkající se současného stavu zařízení volného času, podmínek pro jejich činnost a jejich možností v procesu integrace dětí mladšího školního věku. Chtěl bych poukázat na důležité úkoly, ale i problémy daného procesu a finanční aspekty jeho fungování. Dále je zdůrazněn význam odbornosti, schopností a profesionality pedagogických pracovníků ve sféře volného času. U zjištěných nedostatků bych rád upozornil na jejich příčiny a hledal možnosti jejich eliminace. Na závěr si kladu za cíl předložit soubor návrhů a podnětů pro zařízení volného času dětí, které by mohly přispět ke zkvalitnění a efektivnějšímu využívání volného času k procesu integrace. The Artist as Branded Goods

The theoretical part is explaining the concept of brand, defines the differences between the brands and "brand", as well as the differences between the brands and the products. Also points to the importance of brands in marketing, types of brands and their elements. The greatest attention is paid to branding, priority of today's marketing. It focuses on the description of the main steps of the strategic brand management. Followed by a theoretical insight into the topic of art, marketing specifications in showbusiness, and outline of the contemporary art market, including the legal binding. Following the theory and the facts established in it, the practical part is set on monitoring a particular artist in the terms of application of principles of brand building. Thesis does not aim to provide an exhausting list of information from different areas, but rather to point out the possibilities of linking brand strategies and the arts. The goal is to assess whether the success in the field of art is linked with the quality of brand management strategy.

The Comparison of the Technique of Men's Tennis Serve in the Croatian and Slovak Players

a klíčová slova. Název: Porovnání techniky podání mužů v tenise u chorvatských a slovenských hráčů. Comparing the technics of the mens tennis serve on the croatian and slovak players. Cíl práce: Cílem výzkumu je pozorovat, posuzovat, hodnotit a porovnávat techniku mužského podání v tenise u chorvatských a slovenských hráčů a pozorovat jeho variabilitu ve vybraných kritických (klíčových) místech a parametrech vjeho jednotlivých fázích. Metoda: Základní použitou metodou bylo pozorování, na které byl využit natočený videozáznam, z kterého jsme později vypracovali potřebné kinogramy. Videozáznam byl proveden během finálového utkání Davis Cupu roku 2005 mezi teamy Slovenska a Chorvatska. Pozorování a hodnocení bylo podrobně zaměřeno na porovnání jednotlivých parametrů a kritických (klíčových) míst během jednotlivých fází podání. Jednotlivé hráče jsme také porovnávali i vjednotlivých statistických údajích speciálně zaměřených na podání. Na tyto údaje jsme využili internet. Výsledky: Poukazují nám na jednotlivé rozdíly, výhody či nevýhody u jednotlivých sledovaných hráčů. Poukazují na důležitá kritická místa, fáze, momenty, parametry a faktory, které mohou nejvíce ovlivňovat kvalitu podání. Klíčová slova: Pozorování; kritická místa; porovnání; podání; kinogramy.

Group Exercise for Women with Postmenopausal Osteoporosis.

I j ABSTRAKT Název: Skupinové cvičení pro ženy s postmenopauzální osteoporózou Title of thesis: Group exercise for women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Cíl práce: Cílem diplomové práce bylo ověřit, zda skupinové cvičení u žen s osteoporózou po menopauze ovlivní svalovou dysbalanci, rovnováhu a bolest zad. Dalším cílem bylo porovnat vliv různého typu cvičení na výše uvedené parametry. Metoda: K ověření účinku jednotlivých cvičebních programů (antigravitační cvičení, cvičení s Thera-Bandem, cvičení s overballem) bylo vybráno 30 probandek (průměrný věk 62,5 ± 6,58) s prokázanou osteoporózou ve stabilizovaném stádiu. Probandky byly rozděleny do tří souborů čítajících 1O osob. Svalová dysbalance byla vyšetřena dle modifikace vyšetřování hybnosti dle Jandy a Kábelíkové-Vávrové, rovnováha dle vlastní modifikace a bolest dle české škály Křivohlavého. Všechny parametry byly vyšetřeny před a po skončení 3-měsíčního programu skupinového cvičení. Výsledky: Z výsledků vyplynulo, že u všech souborů došlo ke zlepšení vyšetřovaných parametrů. Největší rozdíly mezi jednotlivými cvičebními programy byly patrné u rovnováhy, kde došlo při cvičení s overballem k 21% zlepšení s průměrnou hodnotou před programem 0,65 (± 0,75) a po programu 0,52 (± 0,65). Title: The evaluation ofthe athletic efficiency ofthe FTVS UK's female student athletes in the heptathlon during the years 2000 - 2005 Consultant: PaedDr. Jana Lakatošová Objective ofthe thesis: The objective ofthe thesis is to compare the final athletic heptathlons results ofthe students studying the multi-disciplinary studies and the single- disciplinary studies at the FTVS UK. We are going to compare the results fi:om the year 2000 to the year 2005. We have randomly selected a group offemale student athletes that is the representative sample ofthe FTVS UK's students at the FTVS during the years 2000-2005. That has become the subject of our research. The aim ofthe thesis is to detennine whether the multi-disciplinary studies group or the single-disciplinary studies group is more efficient in the individua! event and in the total point results. Method: The essential method that we are going to use for obtaining the necessary results is evaluation based on the data obtained from the reports ofthe athletic hepthlons from the years 2000 to 2005. Portrayal of war prisoners in american media after the election of Barack Obama

The US attitude towards the prisoners of war, more accurately its media portrayal, is the main theme of this bachelor thesis. The main goal of this thesis is to find out whether this attitude in real situation corresponds with the similar attitude in the US movies and series. The real one has been changing significantly since 2001 depending on the Afghanistan and Iraq situation, and also on the decisions of the Supreme Court of the US and the people opinion. This thesis is based on official documents of the US administration as well as on several movies (24, Homeland, Zero Dark Thirty and Ghosts of Abu Ghraib). The essential thesis whether the real attitude was reflected in the movies was generally confirmed, however the differences between pictures were considerable, therefore the overall generalization is not possible.
