The main purpose of this thesis is to decide, if it's efficient to open cafe at Prague 11. The cafe Minima s. r. o., should be quiet and comfortable place for sitting down and enjoying fine products. The first part summarizes theory needed. At the second part will be stated what's the cafe orientation -- vision and mission - based on the public opinion polls. Next comes the exploration of surroundings with help of Porter and PEST analyses. At the end will be numeric formulation and calculation of possible profit and return of investment. The outcome of thesis is decision about opening or not opening the cafe.

Master's Thesis is dedicated to risk management in company engaged in the production of heating systems. The main goal of this Master's Thesis is the formulation and quantification of suitable recommendations. Through a detailed study of specialized literature and expert articles is explained risk management, the process of risk management, methods of risk identification and risk reduction methods. The acquired knowledge are applied to elaborate the practical part. Risks are identified at the macro environments and analysis of internal and external environments of the company. The probability of occurrence for these risks are determined subsequently for these risks, the size of the intended business impact is determined and the significance of the individual risks are established. Then for each risk is determined recommendations for risk management at Korado a.s.
Analysis of EVONA a.s. product range

This master's thesis is focused on analysis of EVONA a.s. product range, which is manufacturing company. Aim of this study is to analyze the range of underwear, thermal underwear and hosiery and then to propose optimization measures. The theoretical part is devoted to methods which focus on analyzing the marketing environment and product mix. In the practical part, internal company data of EVONA a.s. served to analyze the product range by using Boston Consulting Group matrix and General Electric Business matrix. To illustrate the situation a survey was carried out and it helped in the final recommendations of the product range.
Analysis of the Success Rate of Mergers and Aquisitions in the Czech Republic

This Bachelor thesis, The Overall Evaluation of CEZ Group, is divided into three parts. The first part comprises SWOT analysis, the second part contains Porter's Five Forces analysis and the third part is devoted to Financial analysis. The SWOT analysis informs about strengths and weaknesses of the company and shows what are its opportunities and threats. Porter's Five Forces analysis describes the appropriate behavior of market participants, the position of competitors in a given industry and risks inherent in the market situation. The Financial analysis presents various indicators that are very important because they comprehensively evaluate the business activity of CEZ Group. The Financial analysis includes indicators of profitability, liquidity, indebtedness and the analysis of net working capital. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the business performance of CEZ Group from 2006 till 2010, its market position, and to verify whether the company really dominates the Czech market as the anecdotal evidence shows.
Product analysis of Cedro sole ltd. company

This thesis analyses products of Cedro sole ltd., which is a company operating on nail care market in Czech Republic. Theoretical part defines basic terms and brings basis important for practical part. Practical part deals with company presentation, customers and the market company's operating on. This is followed by company's surroundings that describe the current situation on the nail care market. Marketing mix analysis shows ways of price setting, organisation of distribution and the ways of communication. All this is followed by product analysis of the sales numbers, revenues and margin during the studied years. Last part is focused on recommendations to improve sales numbers and market position.
COBIT in small business

The aim of this work is to develop a universal procedure introducing the concept of IT Governance using COBIT methodology to a small business environment. This thesis understands COBIT as a tool with which is possible to create a new business strategy for a firm and which will provide more competitive force for the firm in the competitive fight. The main contribution of this thesis is a theoretical research, which resulted in the proposal as how should a small company (which close-up characteristic is described in more detail in the work) proceed in a case that it decides to efficiently manage, manage and control the business IS / IT. This theoretical approach is then tested as a case study on a real small enterprise.
Analysis of the TON a.s. product range

The aim of the thesis is to analyse the product range manufactured by the company TON, which is a traditional Czech producer of bent wood furniture and especially chairs. The company TON has managed to maintain its position in the market for long 150 years, mainly thanks to the sensitive perception of changes in customer needs and adapting its product portfolio meeting them. In the theoretical part of the thesis are defined the basic concept of the marketing mix, product mix and described the methods and analysis as SLEPT analysis, Porter analysis, Portfolio analysis and Pareto analysis, which are then used in the practical part of the thesis. Based on the analysis there are formulated the conclusions which give recommendations on optimizing the product range and on effective use of certain elements of marketing mix for placing the product portfolio on target markets.

This master's thesis is focused on analysis of Whirlpool CR, spol. s r. o. product range. Main objective of this thesis is to analyse Whirlpool CR freestanding home appliances product range and suggest reccomendations for its optimalization. The theoretical part is devoted to methods for the analysis of macro-and microenvironment, which are then applied in practical part of work. Based on internal company data Whirlpool CR, spol. s r. o. is provided the analysis of the marketing mix. The analysis of range and recommendations for its optimization are performed with the Boston Consulting Group matrix.
Directing of Business Subject Connected to the Nets and its Utilization in Selected Territory.

The main goal of this thesis was to analyze present condition in wide context, to propose solution of other development cooperation in choice territory and to express his efficiency. The object of research is company HS AUTO, spol. s r. o, connected to the automobile net, which is occurring in České Budějovice. In terms of solution diploma work were elaborated SWOT analysis of choice company and Porter´s five forces model of competitive surrounding. On the basis of worked analyses were created strategy and measures, which are adverting to present condition and are trying to contribute to development of company activities. On basis of assembled information and performed analyses was effected proposal for cooperation improvement in terms of net with emphasis on improvement and development company activities and its function.

V BP se zabývám problematikou systému řízení v reklamní firmě. Hlavním cílem bylo zhodnocení současného systému řízení a také návrh na možný rozvoj firmy. Dílčím cílem bylo navržení motivačního programu a systému odměňování pro pracovníky této firmy. V BP jsem využila několik metod - SWOT analýza - pro určení slabých a silných stránek této firmy, Porterovu analýzu, analýzu vnějšího prostředí i analýzu odvětví. Na základě provedených analýz byla pro firmu navržena určitá doporučení, které by pro firmu do budoucna měly velký přínos a zajistily by její konkurenceschopnost.
