The coincidence as a principle
Bláhová, Tereza ; Rakušanová, Marie (advisor) ; Bydžovská, Lenka (referee)
Náhoda jako princip Chance as a Principle ANOTATION The thesis has a focus in questions of chance in the art of 20. century. The crux of the problem concentrate on artists: Jackson Pollock, John Cage, Merce Cunningham and James Joyce. The opening chapter surveys the use of the chance in etymology, science and organic processes of the nature, watches the chance as an inspiration in a game and artistic production. In the second chapter the chance is typologicly defined from spontaneity as a expression of freedom abstract expressionism by Wassily Kandinsky and free atonality by Arnold Schönberg all the way to the kind of chance as a struggle against conventions and to chance as a spring of imagination in authomatic writing and drawing or psychical automatism in surrealism. The main chapter focuses on the key authors of the top phases of spontaneity connected with the action painting (Jackson Pollock), aleatoric music (John Cage), experimental dance (Merce Cunningham) and similar accidental processes in literature (James Joyce) - in exception of Joyce. The selection of representants of the world - mainly American art was caused by tight cohesion of their artistic display. Keywords: chance - spontaneity - gesture - organic - consciousness

Utilizing RELAX NG Schemas in XML Editors
Schmied, Martin ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Nič, Miloslav (referee)
This thesis explores the possibilities of utilizing RELAX NG schemata in the process of editing XML documents. The ultimate goal of this thesis is to prototype a system supporting user while editing XML document with bound RELAX NG schema inside the Eclipse IDE. Such a system comprises two major components -- an integration of RELAX NG validator and an autocompletion engine. Design of the autocompletion engine represents the main contribution of this thesis, because similar systems are almost exclusively implemented in closed-source commercial editors as of 2009. The first chapter is a brief introduction into XML while emphasizing XML schema languages. A comparison is of three major schema languages -- DTD, W3C XML Schema and RELAX NG. Furthermore, options of exploiting information from schema by the XML editor are discussed. In the end of the chapter an overview of basic RELAX NG patterns used throughout this thesis is given. The second chapter describes implementation of the autocompletion engine. It reasons about appropriate in-memory representation of the XML documents and RELAX NG schemas and presents basic principles of pattern-inference for individual elements. The main output of the chapter is an algorithm proposal for generating possible completions based on given XML document nodes and RELAX NG schema of the document. The goal of the final third chapter is integrating RELAX NG validator and the autocompletion engine inside the Eclipse IDE. It starts by describing two basic aspects of Eclipse Platform -- the OSGi Service Platform dynamic module system and the extension point mechanism. Then the implementation of individual plug-ins and their integration with existing XML editing infrastructure is described.

Interactive Visualisation of RELAX NG Schemas
Sýkora, Lukáš ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Ralbovský, Martin (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to create a tool for visualisation of RELAX NG schemas. RELAX NG schemas define a form of XML documents. They determine what elements and attributes can be used in the document and how they can be combined. Visualisation of schemas enables easier orientation in the structure of RELAX NG patterns. This can be useful for both developers of schemas and users who use schemas for creation of XML documents. RELAX NG schema can be written using XML, which enables its visual representation by means of tree structure. Moreover, the model of the tree is interactive which enables users to display only the branches they are interested in. The aim will be reached in several steps. At first, it is necessary to analyze properly the structures of RELAX NG language with respect to their future visualisation. Next step is SVG format for description of vector graphics. SVG format can be written using XML as well. Interactivity of the model described by SVG is enabled by ECMAScript. The conversion from RELAX NG to SVG graphics will be done by means of XSLT transformation. The main contribution of this thesis will be the visualisation which facilitates the orientation in the schema for both users and developers. Only XSLT processor and a file with XSLT transformation will be needed for the visualisation of RELAX NG. The file with XSLT transformation will be the output of this thesis. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is focused on the analysis of the structures of RELAX NG language and the possibilities of their visualisation. Particular attention will be given to the current possibilities of graphic interpretation of schemas. The second part is devoted to the design of graphic symbols for individual nodes of the graphic model and the possibilities of their interaction. The third part deals with the prototype implementation of transformation of RELAX NG to SVG graphics.

Cray fish as bioindicators of human impact in freshwater ecosystems in CR - sensitivity of model species on selected toxic compounds and case study from the model catchment
MAHOVSKÁ, Ivana
This thesis deals with monitoring the occurrence of crayfish in selected river basins in the western Bohemia, considering the human impact on freshwater ecosystems and his influence on crayfish and other aquatic organisms. The selected river basin territory was Úhlava, Úslava and Otava. In the localities, numerical and species-wise representation of crayfish was monitored by finding data from the Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape of Czech Republic database. The flow and environment characteristics were also monitored. This thesis focuses on water quality in streams of selected major river basins, Úhlava, Úslava and Otava rivers in the period from 2006 to 2011. Results of the findings show a sympatric occurrence of original species, stone crayfish (Austropotamobius torrentium), noble crayfish (Astacus astacus) and part of the original danube crayfish (Astacus leptodactylus) with invasively spreading species of spiny-cheek crayfish (Orconectes limosus) and signal crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus). With respect to this fact, the sensitivity of spiny-cheek crayfish (Orconectes limosus) and signal crayfish (Pacifastacus leniusculus) are evaluated in a form of own test results on acute toxicity. The thesis compared current results of occurrence and the protection of crayfish in the Czech Republic and abroad. The conclusion of this thesis is a proposal of a freshwater biomonitoring system, using the crayfish.

Analysis of the impact of aircraft noise on real estates prices
Sečkár, Antonín ; Hornychová, Taťána (advisor) ; Rod, Aleš (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the impact of aircraft noise on real estate prices around the Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague. This impact is studied by regression analysis using the hedonic price model, specifically the first degree model . The dataset contains of 204 houses, information about their characteristics come from advertisements on the real estate market, data on noise come from airport noise maps. The results suggest that if the noise exposure increases by one decibel, real estate price drops by 2.91%, a result comparable with similar studies carried out abroad.

Development of the Nuclear Medicine Field of Study (Didactic Programme)
BUČEK, František
The bachelor thesis explores the development of nuclear medicine in Czechoslovakia. The thesis recalls its present well-known specialists as well as founders of the field including the contemporaries Doc. MUDr. Bohuslav Vavrejn, Csc. and Prof. MUDr. Zdeněk Dienstbier, DrSc. whose memories were also used as resources by the author. The thesis describes the beginings of nuclear medicine in Czechoslovakia {--} the first application of radiopharmaceutical agents, creation of specialized centres, and becoming independent of the field upon approval of its first concept in 1964. This work also mentions problems initially dealt with by the field in terms of apparatus-based technical equipment, radiopharmaceutical agents and education. The foundation of the Czech Society for Nuclear Medicine is described, as well as cooperation with foreign institutions. Information on apparatus-based technical equipment import from abroad is included, particularly of the companies Nuclear Chicago and Picker, and also domestic production ranging from prototypes to serial production at research institutes or enterprises that included, for example, the Research Institute of Nuclear Technical Apparatuses Přemyšlení, TESLA Vráble, TESLA Brno and METRA Blansko. The bachelor thesis furthermore provides brief characteristics of radiopharmaceutical agents and a summary of present as well as no more used examination methods in nuclear medicine. Problems related to their initial use are described. Radiopharmaceutical agents were imported as early as in 1949 for the first time from France. Domestic production of radioisotopes began in Czechoslovakia at the end of the 50ies of the past century, located at Řež u Prahy. The thesis moreover outlines the concept of the field and legislation it is governed by. Individual types of centres are described, as well as educational requirements for the personnel. In conclusion, advantages of the field are assessed, its close relationship with new technical knowledge and development of apparatuses, such as the hybrid imaging devices PET/CT, SPECT/CT and molecular imaging. The thesis has also been adapted to an e-learning version where information contained in its written form are presented closer schematically and expanded upon for those interested.
