Téma své diplomové práce jsem zvolila s ohledem na aktuálnost problematiky, kterou se zabývá. Práce vychází z faktu, že poškozený má v rámci trestního řízení stále nerovné postavení, ačkoliv je jednou ze stran trestního řízení. Státním subjektem, který se na tuto situaci snaží reagovat a "usiluje o zprostředkování účinného a společensky prospěšného řešení konfliktů spojených s trestnou činností" s ohledem na zájmy a potřeby obou stran trestního konfliktu, včetně společnosti je Probační a mediační služba České republiky (PMS). (Výroční zpráva, 2006, s. 5) Dle mých zkušeností, které jsem získala na odborných stážích na střediscích PMS, však spolupráce pracovníků Probační a mediační služby s oběťmi trestných činů (oběťmi) nedosahuje žádoucí intenzity a frekvence. Aktuálnost potřeby zlepšení podpory obětí dokazuje i fakt, že zmiňované téma je již čtvrtým rokem jednou z priorit PMS. Proto dané téma považuji za důležité a aktuální. Diplomová práce má dvě části - teoretickou a výzkumnou. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat aktuální stav odborné praxe pracovníků Probační a mediační služby vyvíjené ve vztahu k obětem trestných činů v rámci základních odborných agend. Účelem práce není vyčerpávajícím způsobem popsat činnost PMS ve vztahu k obětem trestných činů, ale jejím záměrem je poskytnout alespoň rámcovou...

Crimes relatring to the abuse of addictive substances

Crime Related to Substance Abuse The topic of my thesis is Crime Related to Substance Abuse which is focused on drug- related crime. The main aim of this work is to explain drug problematic in penal law consequences to the reader. First Chapter introduces the reader to drug problematic and drug addiction issue including drug crimes, defining health, social, psychological and economic risks and dangers which may be caused by drugs. The drug crimes are divided into few basic categories because of different rational motives why those crimes are committed. Then, several essential terms connected to drug abuse are explained. Second Chapter deals with classifying drugs into several categories and analyzing their different characteristics. Third Chapter concerns with international cooperation, including its history and current international law treaty's on drugs passed within the United Nations. Three essentials applicable and effective treaties are following: Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs (1961), Convention on Psychotropic Substances (1971) and United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (1988). It proceeds from general conception (spirituality) of prayer and praise in the Bible and in the history and looks for a definition of the global attitude of praise as an essential dimension of every Christian existence. Comparative analysis of gallery subjects management

Bachelor's Thesis deals with the comparative analysis of gallery subjects management. Specifically Galerie Rudolfinum and Galerie Peron in Prague are concerned. Under the terms of these subjects comparison, both SWOT and PESTL analyses were carried out and Porter's five competitive forces model was applied. On the basis of these analyses output and characteristic features of the mentioned subjects, comparison of both galleries management is carried out. The principal objective is to find out both common and different features in the given cultural institutions management. The theoretical part descends from general knowledge of management, managerial work and verges into chapter called cultural institutions management, which concludes definitions of cultural institution, gallery and sketches the relationship between institutor and manager. The area of funding and economic and legal types of galleries in the Czech Republic form an integral part of the work.

The Icelandic economy in the time of the financial crisis

The thesis is focused on the Icelandic financial crisis in 2008. The analysis of the occurrence and the course of crisis are based on the model of a systemic financial crisis. After the long period of economic boom the Icelandic economy was hit by the severe financial turmoil. Iceland was prosperous and strong economy by that time. However, as a result of the oversized bank expansion and external conditions the economy had to face the collapse of the banking sector and the consequential crisis. The theoretical part describes the development of the approach to the financial crisis modeling and defines the factors eventuating in a crisis. The analytical part is firstly dealing with the pre-crisis period and the beginning of the crisis. Subsequently, the causes of the crisis and the government stabilization measures are analyzed. Furthermore, the co-operation with International Monetary Fund is mentioned. And in the last section the work illustrates the impacts of the crisis together with the status of current economic indicators.

A nation lives as long as its cultural monuments

The Nazi occupation of the territory of Bohemia and Moravia, the creation of Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia and subsequent events are without any doubt one of the fundamental themes of the Czech historiography. In last decades the Czech historiography brought near and analyzed the basic principles of the ocupation politics, position of the Protectorare of Bohemia and Moravia within the Grossgerman Empire, clarified the social and economic relations, integration to mechanism of the Nazi economy, outlined the principles of collaboration, restistance, racial and political persecution, the proportion of individuals and groups on this crimes. On the other hand, it very rarely touched the research of methods of spoliation of cultural assets on the territory of Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. This Doctoral Thesis retlects the need to clarify methods, technical, personal and legislative framework of spoliations of moveable art assets of the enemies of National Socialist Regime in Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia, bring closer in a certain chronological and factual order and capture of spoliation methods. The diploma thesis "Feedback techniques in experiential education" disserts upon use of review in experiential education. Feedback techniques in the field of experiential education can be applied both in school environment and out of school. The thesis is divided into three chapters: Experiential education, Review and Feedback techniques. The concept of this thesis stems from experiential education. An active and lively approach is characteristic for this branch of pedagogy. The concept of experiential education is put into practice through experiential learning. One of the integral components of experiential education is review. This process enables to transform one's experiences into personal experience. Dealing with review is an educative process which fulfils pedagogical goals. This diploma thesis allows applying different samples of feedback techniques in groups consisting not only of children or adolescents, but also of adults.

Information education at secondary schools: research at Business Academy in Tábor and implementation of the results into practice

Cílem rigorózní práce je zmapování současného stavu informační gramotnosti na středních školách na základě konkrétního průzkumu na Obchodní akademii v Táboře. Úkolem je analyzovat proces efektivní práce s informacemi v souladu s osnovami obchodní akademie a podat výčet informačních dovedností žáků střední školy. Úvodní kapitola by měla podat přehled o základních pojmech týkajících se informační výchovy a vzdělávání. V dalších kapitolách jsou ilustrovány informační dovednosti žáků střední školy na základě dotazníkového šetření, možnosti zapojení informační výchovy do jednotlivých předmětů, spolupráce školy a knihovny, přínos informační výchovy pro žáky střední školy atd. Práce vychází z praktické zkušenosti s výukou informační výchovy na Obchodní akademii v Táboře. Věnuje se také teoretickým aspektům informační výchovy se zřetelem na prostředí středních škol. Rigorózní práce je určena zájemcům o problematiku informační výchovy a zároveň nepatrným pokusem o návrh úpravy vzdělávacího systému v České republice.

The Ability to Resolve Conflicts - A Key Skill of a Successful Manager

The final bachelor work deals with the issue of directing and leading people, specifically targeting the field of communication and conflicts management. The main concern is focusing on the reasons and solving of this conflicts, their effects on the working team and the way how leaders deal with employees who have the problematic behavior. The work uses the theory of the issue of conflicts according to mentioned literature and also my own experience. It gives you an idea about the most important as well as the most complicated factors of success of the leader - manager, about his behavor and also the behavor of the employees, about the conflict dilemma and also their cooperation and effective communication. The part of the final bachelors work is the evaluation of am empiric probe which expresses the overall intelligibility of communication, the complicity of cooperation, important employees motivations and the ways of solving the situations at selected schools.

Test-Tube babies: how the market restores the hope

The diploma thesis analyzes market in human reproductive cells - men's sperms and women's eggs for use in assisted reproduction. The topic of this diploma thesis arises from the increasing infertility and urgency of the assisted reproduction in the modern society. This paper is divided in two parts. The first part of this paper describes a historical development of assisted reproduction and than economic theory that is applicable to the human reproductive cells market namely the theory of the prohibition and the theory of the price regulation. Second part analyzes three different reproductive cells markets -- American, British and Czech market. Second part also discus arguments and criticism of the free human organ markets included human reproductive cells market. This paper brings integrated summary based on arguments evaluating free trade with human sperms and eggs.
