Multilevel marketing

The Bachelor Thesis examines Multilevel marketing (abbreviated as 'MLM') as a business sector. The first aim of this study is to analyse the system of MLM within the company Oriflame and to measure to what extent the success of MLM is dependent on the duration of the seller's involvement in MLM and on the type of individual's character. Additionally, the thesis investigates whether it is possible to attain financial independence within Oriflame. The second goal is to find out what is the public opinion of the MLM system. To gather reliable information, a questionnaire was created and distributed. The theoretical part of this Thesis refers to MLM as a part of direct selling, analyzes its history and current trends. There are also non-ethical and prohibited systems. The Thesis is focused on motivation and tools of success. The practical part presents the analysis of MLM system in the company Oriflame and research of public opinion about MLM. At the end of this Bachelor Thesis whole issues and results of the public opinion of MLM system are summarized.

Planned home births in Czech republic

The aim of thesis is to describe general characteristic of women planned home birth in Czech republic. There are described also reasons and motivation to decide to this in thesis. Theoretical part of work is based on history of obstetrics in the world and Czech countries. This part of work analysis current models of birth care and explains humanization of obstetrics and inform about grant and acceptors of birth care. There is summary of places of birth and legal issues in Czech republic nowadays in thesis. There are named some foreign researchs in problems with home births. Empirical part contains general characteristic of sample and interpretation of results.

The Effect of Personal Causality Orientation on Adherence in Outpatient Physiotherapy

(in English) This master thesis deals with themes of motivations and compliance to treatment recommendations in outpatient physiotherapy. In the theoretical section it brings an introduction to the issue of adherence as a part of medical rehabilitation. It sheds some light on the importance of the research in this field and structures its span according to prescribed diagnoses and other criteria. It also shows distinctions in concepts of compliance, concordance and adherence and summarizes the findings of the most relevant directions of motivation research in this area of study. The aim of the empirical part is to capture relations between the distribution of patients' personal causality orientation and their adherence to treatment. Based on the results of a DOPO method, self-assessment of adherence and evaluation of adherence by the treating physiotherapist, from the sample of 69 patients it concludes, that there is no statistically significant relation between the aforementioned variables.

Gender differences in communication and managerial skills

There exist a significant number of research works today analyzing gender differences from many different aspects. This paper deals with differences exhibited by men and women in the area of communication and managerial skills that are found by the Development Centre Method, where these differences are expressed by the style in which a person leads ones subordinates and by how an individual functions in a team. The theoretical part of the paper presents basic terms and principles of the gender issue. Furthermore, it looks at gender differences in communication and leadership styles. The aim of the undertaken research was to find out whether differences between men and women in communication and leadership styles exist in the following categories: dominance/directivness, goal-orientation, positive motivation, negative motivation, uncertainty. For the purpose of this analysis, both qualitative and quantitative methods were used. The results did not prove a statistically significant difference between the two sexes in all the aforementioned categories, but only some of them.

Attitudes and Motivation of Pupils in Relation to Athletics

Thesis title: Attitudes and Motivation of Pupils in Relation to Athletics Objective: find out the attitudes and motivation of pupils in relation to athletics in pupils'categories of selected athletic clubs in Prague Methodology: questionnaires distributed in 15 youth athletic clubs in Prague, Central Bohemian Region, Plzeň, Cheb and Pardubice. Intentionally no sport schools have been included. 352 correctly filled-in questionnaires have been collected. Questionnaires have been classified according to different age groups: athletic prep, junior and senior pupils. The objective of the given research was to find out the attitudes and motivation of pupils in relation to athletics or to its disciplines, respectively. A part of the questionnaire also focused on discovering pupils' knowledge of the most famous athletic personalities today and in the past, both in the domestic and international context. Conclusion: the thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The former one deals with the analysis of the key concepts and the context of the given topic. It is based on accessible specialized literature focusing on the topic both empirically and theoretically. Recent theme articles from international internet portals have also been used. The bachelor's thesis deals with overall impacts of relocation of business activities from domestic to host economy. The first, theoretical part is focused on defining the term offshoring, its forms, origin and development in past 50 years. Companies motives for entry into foreign markets are mentioned at the end of the first part. The practical part of thesis analyzes the impact of offshoring on selected areas in selected economies. The final section aims to assess the impacts of offshoring on the global economy and to determine the expected development in the future.

Posoudit potřebu zařazení aktivit v přírodě a jejich prožitkové sféry do výukového programu základních škol. Prokázat pozitivní vliv emoční a motivační sféry vícedenních aktivit v přírodě na motivaci k celoživotnímu učení, sportovní činnosti a harmonickému rozvoji osobnosti žáka. Metoda: Pro výzkum byla použita explorativní metoda prostřednictvím techniky nestandardizovaných dotaznťků. Záměrem výzkumu bylo zjistit vliv emoční a motivační sféry vícedenních aktivit v přírodě na žáky základních škol. Metodou pozorovací, srovnávací a vedeného rozhovoru získáme podklady pro vytvoření optimální skladby jednotlivých aktivit pro devítiletou školní docházku. Výsledky: Výsledky poukazují na zájem žáků ZŠ o zvýšení četnosti vícedenních aktivit a kladný vliv emoční a motivační sféry aktivit v přírodě.
