The community of Romanies and the labour market

A large number of people from various fields and disciplines has been and is engaged in the issue of one of the largest minority in the Czech Republic, the Romanies. Last but not least, this issue is also related to the political capabilities in creating the state budgets, social costs, work programs etc. I will analyze the present and past economical situation of the roman minority and try to assess the scale of functionality and sufficiency of Czech legislation in this scope. Furthermore, I would like to illustrate the behavioral patterns of this ethnic group and apply the concept of the "culture of poverty" to it, which particullary includes the tendency of prefering the immediate satisfaction of their needs without the distinctive planning to the future in the scope of funds. I will try to explain the mechanisms of so called "vicious circle" of discrimination in finding job from the point of view of the position of the roman minority in the labour market. Also the different understanding and creating of the family connections shows, why the common economical family model is unable to be applied there. Economics is a value-neutral science, that is why I will pay particular attention to the efficiency of the current labour-law legislation affecting the members of the culture of poverty, which include considerable part of the roman population and hereafter I will try to propose the alternative measures, which could be applied to this issue.

This thesis is focused on the woman's role in present-day society. Theoretical part is about woman's role from legal point of view, historical context and current perspective within education, work and family. Empirical part is represented by the research which goal is to find out the attitude to woman's role in family and in work area and discovery of functional gender sterotypes in society mainly froma men and women's point of view and also according to the education and age groups.

Education to reading through work with book in pre-school age

Baccalaureate work attends to problems of the relation of pre - school child to book. Theoretic part deals with reader's literacy, possibilities of activities of pre - school arrangements fuelling the reader's literacy of childern and complexity of activities supporting aesthetically development of child in pre - school age. In practical part was realized thematic oriented project built on arranged meetings with a fairy tale. The purpose was to create and strengthen the relation of child to book. In work are further presented results of controlled talks and singhtings, on whose base was analysed present - day (nowday's) reader's level of families of hereof sample. Schlick family. The economical structure of their estate and social standard to the year 1487

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám dějinami rodu Šliků, hrabat z Pasounu a Holíče, od jeho prvního vystoupení v dějinách od konce 14. století do roku 1489. Hlavním těžištěm zde bude významný společenský vzestup tohoto původně patricijského chebského rodu a s tím spojené konstituování pozemkové držby rodu na historických územích patřících tehdy Českému království: Chebska, Loketska a českých lén na území Míšeňského markrabství. Vzhledem k tomu, že tomuto tématu nebyla v české, ale ani německé, literatuře doposud věnována dostatečná pozornost, bude nutné v rámci úvodu upozornit na metodologická úskalí, která se během práce objevila. Nástup Šliků do dějin je součástí rozsáhlých proměn ve společenské a hospodářské struktuře českých zemí za období husitství. Rozsáhlé majetkové a sociální přesuny jsou běžným pozadím takových politických událostí. Nová šlechta se objevila jako konkurent tradičním panským rodům doby předhusitské a rekrutovala se nejen z řad šlechty nižší (vladyků - rytířů či panošů), I ale i z příslušníků městských patriciátů, a to na úkor církevního a královského majetku. Přes běžnost takových změn přece Šlikové netvoří zcela obvyklý příklad těchto procesů. Příběh Kašpara Šlika, původce slávy rodu, je svým způsobem ojedinělý. The self-portrait in the Czech baroque painting

The se1f-portrait in painting is similar to an autobiography in literature. It is an unique testimony of painter' s life and art, of his desires, fears and whishes. It contains its own typical attributes: brusches, a palette, an easel with a canvas and specific studio clothes as well, which point to the painter's profession. Usually the sitter is in the contact with the viewer with the help of his eyes' sight. The deve10pment of the self-portraiture started in the Renaissance period, when the artist se1f-consciousness of his talent and uniqueness of his art spread. Painters started to offend against giuld rules which tied them. An important break into the obsolete system was the attempt to establish an Academy in Prague in 1709. The main authors ofthe project were the painter Michael Václav Halbax, the sculptor František Preiss and the architect František Maxmilián Kaňka. But their progressive idea broke down in the end. The barock self-portraits in the Czech painting were influenced by the previous period - the era of the emperor Rudolf II. and his great painters for example: Bartholomeus Spranger and Hans von Aachen. Between Aussig and Regensburg - an Insight into the Life of an Upper- Class Bourgeois German Family in Czechoslovakia and in the Post-War Germany (1918-1948)

Schon während meines Studiums interessierte ich mich für die sudetendeutsche Frage. Ich nutzte meine Sprachkenntnisse und mein Stipendium in Regensburg, um das Schicksal einer ursprünglich Aussiger Familie zu erforschen. Ich möchte in meiner Arbeit ihr Leben sowohl in der Tschechoslowakei in der Zeit zwischen den Kriegen, als auch nach dem Münchener Abkommen und schließlich ihre Eingliederung nach der Vertreibung in Bayern schildern. Die Familie Seiche kam schon im 19. Jahrhundert nach Aussig. Sie gründete eine Lackfabrik, die sich im 20. Jahrhundert sehr gut entwickelte. Der betriebliche Erfolg hatte auch den gesellschaftlichen und sozialen Aufstieg der Familie zur Folge. Sie gehörten der höheren Mittelschicht1 an, waren Mitglieder verschiedener Kultur- und Sportvereine, wie es in jener Zeit üblich war. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg wurde die Lackfabrik unter staatliche Verwaltung gestellt und die Familienangehörigen ausgewiesen. Sie fassten in Regensburg in Bayern Fuß. Business and social activities of V.F. Červený and his sons in the context of family life and political-economic upswing of nationally conscious Czech society

Jako téma své disertační práce jsem si zvolil podnikatelské a společenské aktivity V. F. Červeného a jeho synů v kontextu jejich rodinného života a politickohospodářského rozmachu národně uvědomělé české společnosti. Tato práce si klade za primární cíle analyzovat podnikatelské aktivity Červených spojené s vedením rodinné firmy, podrobně objasnit příčiny jejich značných podnikatelských úspěchů i okolnosti, jež zapříčinily pozdější úpadek jejich firmy, zároveň podrobně analyzovat společenské aktivity Červených a vymezit jejich společenskou roli v době formování moderní české občanské společnosti. Na tyto hlavní badatelské záměry navazují dílčí cíle. V rovině podnikatelských aktivit jsem si dále vytkl za úkol zařadit a zhodnotit postavení firmy v kontextu českého hospodářství a průmyslu a provést srovnání i s předními zahraničními firmami působícími v tomto oboru. Zároveň jsem snažil zhodnotit manažerské schopnosti Červených, popřípadě je zařadit v rámci obecnější typologie podnikatelů do odpovídající kategorie. Dílčím cílem této práce se stalo i zmapování konstrukčních zlepšení dechových nástrojů provedených Červenými. Nekladl jsem si za úkol detailně analyzovat konstrukční přednosti jejich inovací, na druhé straně se domnívám, že k jejich podnikatelské činnosti neodmyslitelně patří i jejich inovační činnost...
