Communication Plan of Company
Trötzmüller, Jan ; Dmytryszyn, Marek (referee) ; Kaňovská, Lucie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals the communication mix of TRX Energy s.r.o. This company specializes in online sales of batteries and accumulators, power supplies and chargers for computers and communications equipment. The analytical part of thesis uses theoretical knowledge about analytical tools widely used in marketing, such as SLEPTE analysis or Porter analysis of competitive forces. The work also analyzes the communication mix and give proposals for its improvement with the intention of increasing turnover and profit of the company. Proposals concerning the communication mix, however, are planted in the proposals in a broader perspective. During the analytical work there was identified an absence of superior corporate strategy, and therefore the first recommendation is designed its implementation and further steps should be performed only in response to a newly formulated corporate strategy.

Design of Vibroisolation Strut with Minimal Friction Losses
Jančík, Kryštof ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Macháček, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on design of Vibroisolation Strut, whose damper uses magnetorheological (MR) fluid. In order to take the full advantage of semiactively controlled MR damper to provide a wide control range, it demands a low value of friction losses, which is mainly caused by used seals. The first part is dedicated to research of dampers, aiming to find the ideal design that ensures this demand. In this purpose, friction of some rod seals was also experimentally determined. Further, calculations which were necessary to determine the MR damper's damping characteristic were carried out and the function of its magnetic circuit was verified by using FEM software. The parameters of the final design of the strut were adjusted for using in an automatic washing machine.

Analysis of political communication
Novák, Petr ; Khelerová, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Drozen, František (referee)
Political communication plays a crucial role in politics. It justifies, it critizices, it promises and it explains. All those activities have one in common - they try to persuade. Politicians want to persuade us that their claims are truthful and morally right. At that, they can choose from a wide variety of means - from argumentation to manipulation. On the receiving end of the communication, there is a voter who can also choose from a wide variety of ways in which it is possible to accept those claims. Lest the democracy should fail, it is advisable to pay attention to those options.

Living in the City Centre: Query Investigation on the Example of Brno
Zadražilová, Miroslava
There is a wide spread opinion that living in an intense urban structure becomes utopian nowadays, although there are successful examples realized abroad. This theory provoked the motivation for a sociological study finally discussed in the thesis which was intended to provide the resolution. The concept of sustainable development is connected among others with densification, polyfunctionality and hence restrictions of individual transportation. However, the common practice usually goes just opposite. The proposed study leaves the issue of practical use of principles of sustainable development provisionally untouched. It discusses the will of residents to settle in city centers or contrary an unstoppable tendency for leaving cities.

Biogeography, diversity and substrate specificity of aeroterrestrial green algal genus Klebsormidium (Streptophyta)
Ryšánek, David ; Škaloud, Pavel (advisor) ; Mareš, Jan (referee)
Filamentous aeroterestrial green algae genus Klebsormidium occurs in a very wide range of freshwater and terrestrial habitats. Recent results of molecular investigations led to the finding that the diversity within this genus is far greater than expected on the basis of the morphological features, and that the traditional phenotypic species concept is insufficient. I tried to differentiate phylogenetic lineages within the genus Klebsormidium by thein different biogeographical distribution and environmental preferences. Since no study dealing with the biogeographic pattern of aeroterrestrial algae was so far undertaken, another aim of this work was to test validity of the protist ubiquity model in aeroterrestrial habitats. I studied this issues based on the chloroplast rbcL molecular marker. Based on the obtained data I found that the geographic definition of particular Klebsormidium lineages turns out to be unusable because of the cosmopolitan occurrence of almost all genotypes. However, the data obtained from the substrate specificity study shows that clear ecological preferences exist within the genus Klebsormidium and could be simply used to define different lineages within the genus.

Experimental and computer modeling diffusion of low-molecular solutes in gel – based carriers
Masár, Lukáš ; Gregorová, Eva (referee) ; Sedláček, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on combination of experimental study and computer modelling of diffusion processes in gel phases. The aim of experimental part of the diploma thesis was to test and optimize the setting of the diffusion coefficient in gel medium by using the method of horizontal diffusion cells, commonly used for study of diffusion processes through membranes. Specific description of experiments was to determinate the impact of presence of reactive component in inert hydro-gel carrier on final value of diffusion coefficient of low-molecular model diffusion probe. The defined dependencies were subsequently combined with computer simulation of diffusion process in a properly designed model in order to determinate the experimentally unavailable system parameters. The stated combination of both approaches was proved to be an appropriate instrument for studying of hydro-gels with a wide potential especially in the field of preparation of hydro-gel carriers with controlled release of active substances.

Doplnění vývojového prostředí BlueJ o funkce využitelné v úvodních kurzech programování
Bobusky, Sergej ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
An indispensable tool of any meaningful application development endeavour is an inte-grated development environment (IDE), and the same naturally applies for coding in Java programming language. There are many IDEs that are readily available to be used, though not all of them are well suited for elementary programming courses. BlueJ stands for a prominent exception here and its usage at hundreds of universities world-wide can be taken as a sound proof of this. The BlueJ value offering and traits are undisputable. That being said, we have to acknowledge that it is not perfect. One can iden-tify enhancements that need to be implemented for the tool to better support teaching ob-ject-oriented programming. The goal of this thesis is to identify the most prominent shortcomings of the BlueJ interac-tive mode and to design an implement features that will address them.
