The nutrition specifics of patients with chronic renal failure in pre-haemodialysis and haemodialysis programmes.
PAVLÍKOVÁ, Andrea
Chronic renal insufficiency tends to worsen gradually until it gets to the stage of kidney failure, often despite the prescribed adequate treatment. The duration of this period of nephrology dispensarization may differ. Kidneys lose their cleaning ability within ten years, which leads to accumulation of metabolism waste products in the body. If the primary renal disease graduates to the final stage the patient depends on substitute kidney therapy in the form of haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis or transplantation. Kidney failure treatment depends on the stage of renal function impairment. Modification of eating habits is also closely related to this fact. In the first stage of insufficiency the diet does not substantially differ from normal healthy nourishment principles. Only later gradual limitation of intake of the individual nutrients is necessary. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to map specific requirements for nourishment of patients suffering from chronic kidney failure that have not been included in a dialysis programme yet, contrary to individuals who already visit a dialysis centre and regularly undertake blood cleaning process. A lot of professional literature had to be studied to obtain necessary information for preparation of adequate diet regimen. Scientific bibliographic publications by Czech as well as foreign authors were used as the source on the one hand and the latest findings resulting from randomized multicentric studies had to be found in journals specialized in kidney diseases and nourishment on the other hand. Nourishment recommendations for patients with chronic kidney failure, which are divided into low-protein diet in conservative therapy and limitation of nutrient intake in patients included in the haemodialysis programme, were elaborated upon the obtained information.

Geochemical model of arsenic at the Mokrsko gold deposit Dissertation of Petr Drahota 1 Abstract The dissertation contributes to the As mobility at the naturally contaminated site of Mokrsko gold deposit in Central Czech Republic. The primary goal of the dissertation is to fill some gaps in previous research carried out at the study site in order to contribute to the quantitative biogeochemical model of As in the bedrock-groundwater-soil-surface water system. In the first part, the previous research related to As environmental issues at the study site has been reviewed, discussed and evaluated. These include detail information on (i) the extent of natural As contamination in bedrock and soil, (ii) the extent of As contamination in groundwater, (iii) the primary and secondary As mineralogy in bedrock and soil, (iv) the chemical speciation of As in soil and (v) the leaching experiments of the gold ore. In the second part, the mineralogical and chemical speciation of As in soil, in stream and fishpond sediments and dissolved As concentrations in waters have been studied to determine the processes that lead to release of As into solution and control its concentration under different redox conditions at the Mokrsko gold deposit. The highest dissolved As was found in groundwater (more than 1000 g L-1 ), which...

Tučková, Markéta ; Špaňhelová, Šárka (referee) ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor)
This thesis deals with the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on stability of the pacients suffering from hereditary neuropathy. In the review of knowledges there is presented the part about hereditary neuropathies, it's classification, clinical symptoms and diagnostics. The second part of the review is about the stability and it's determination. The last part is dedicated to Vojta's reflex locomotion. In experimental part, there is presented studies, which evaluates the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the sensitive functiones (discrimination, texture perception, vibration perception) and the postural stability (using Balance Master system) in the two groups of the pacients suffering from hereditary neuropathy. The first groupe was measured before and after Vojta's therapy and the second groupe (control one) was measured in the same way, but without therapy. Consequently, the basic statistic indicators of gained set of data were calculated. As a conclusion, there has been some changes before and after therapy in sensitive functiones (vibrations perception, discrimination) and postural function and one test of postural stability in the group of patients threated with Vojta's reflex therapy, compared to control group. Legal status of the judge within the legal order of the CR
Zlatníková, Miroslava ; Macková, Alena (advisor) ; Pohl, Tomáš (referee)
115 Resumé Legal status of the judges in the legal order of the Czech Republic The purpose of my thesis is to analyse legal status of the judges in the legal order of the Czech Republic and to review actual questionable opinions on this theme. The reason for my research is my longtime interest in the function of judge. The thesis is composed of two parts, each of them dealing with different aspects of status of judge. Part One deals with legal status of judges in the legal ordre of the Czech republic. This part is subdivided into five chapters. Chapter One characterises the status of judge in general purport. Chapter Two analyses the legal requirements for becoming a judge. This chapter explains the selection procedure to be judicial candidates. The chapter refers to the legal status of judicial candidates in France and in the Netherlands. Then, it is focuses on appointment of judges in context of addition to age. By the amendment of Act No. 6/2002 Collection of Law the minimal age of judge is thirty years. The President Václav Klaus in 2005 refused to appoint the judicial candidates who have not been of this age. Chapter Three examines discretions and duties of judges. The chapter consist of four subchapters. The first subchapter concentrates on problems resulting from the pro- fessional qualifications of...

Relativistic Theory of Electron Transport in Magnetic Layers
Sýkora, Rudolf ; Turek, Ilja (advisor) ; Šob, Mojmír (referee) ; Drchal, Václav (referee)
Title: Relativistic Theory of Electron Transport in Magnetic Layers Author: Rudolf Sýkora Department / Institute: Institude of Theoretical Physics Supervisor of the doctoral thesis: doc. RNDr. Ilja Turek, DrSc., Department of Condensed Matter Physics Abstract: We review the density-functional theory (DFT) in detail using the Levy Lieb ap- proach. The Kohn Sham scheme is discussed, starting from the simplest spinless non- relativistic case, then including spin and considering potential spin magnetism, and finally deriv- ing the full Kohn Sham Dirac relativistic scheme. The Linear Muffin-Tin Orbital (LMTO) method for electronic-structure calculation is presented, together with mentioning the necessary changes to include the spin-orbit (SO) interaction effects to an otherwise scalar-relativistic (SR) theory. Derivation of an electronic-conductance formula for a layered system is given, based on the Landauer scattering picture and using simple non-equilibrium Green functions. The formal- ism is applied to layered metallic systems of light elements Co, Ni, Cu elements, and to layered systems with a tunnelling barrier, Fe/MgO/Ag and Fe/GaAs/Ag. The effects of the SO interac- tion on the Giant Magnetoresistance (GMR) ratio and/or the Tunnelling Anisotropy Magnetore- sistance (TAMR) for these systems are discussed....

Revize pasportů DVT ve správě VLS ČR, s.p., divize Plumlov, LS Rychtářov
Zajícová, Zuzana
The thesis deals with inventory and review previously created inventories on small watercourses in properties found in the cadastral areas of communes Doubrava u Březiny Krásensko, Podomí, Ruprechtov and Rychtářov that are managed by state enterprise Vojenské lesy a statky, Divizion Plumlov. The aim of inventory consists of field inspections on watercourses, targeting position of aimed points, description of troughs current state or description of objects and noticing its fundamental technical parameters. The inventory revision compares current state of technical objects to its previous state and evaluates implemented modifications. In this way 34 small watercourses belonging to the basin of significant small watercourse Malá Haná were inventoried. Its total length is 41.3 km on the area of 40.9 km2. Based on the results it is claimed these watercourses are in good condition, their troughs have been only minimally modified. The most common problem is non-functional blocked culverts that transfer forest paths across the watercourses. The second phenomenon occurring very often is bank ripping which threatens bodies of forest paths in many cases. It was recommended to stabilize these stressed spots in the proposals. Main purpose of this thesis is to become essential documentation for decisions and planning actions in the field of watercourses management in the aimed area.

Význam institucionálního prostředí pro zemědělskou výrobu
Minárik, Pavol ; Šíma, Josef (advisor) ; Chalupníček, Pavel (referee)
The paper examines significance of institutional environment for agricultural production. It adds to the extensive research of agricultural production functions. First, it reviews relevant theory of institutional economics that explains how institutions contribute to productivity in general, especially if interpreted as economic freedom. Then, a model of agricultural production is presented, which explains aggregate agricultural production using various inputs, as well as variables representing institutional environment. Results concerning elasticities of material inputs (land, labor, capital) are consistent with previous research. The paper proves some significance of institutional variables. Finally, it suggests some directions for further research.

The Importance of a Coaching for a Leadership
Klíma, Petr ; Horáková, Jana (advisor) ; Fiedler, Jiří (referee)
The theme of this bachelor thesis is the importance of coaching for a leadership. The theoretical part explains the basis of the problematics of management and leadership, and then thoroughly examines the topic of coaching: its essence, outline, advantages and disadvantages. Ascertained information is accompanied by several case studies from the business and entrepreneurial fields. These case studies were analysed and compared and contrasted to the basic principles of coaching. Towards the end of the theoretical part, the potential benefits of coaching are put into the context of three objects (employers, graduates, and the society) and respective challenges they are facing. The main objective of the thesis is to identify and asses the influence of coaching in leadership. To accomplish this objective, structured interviews were done with several managers. These interviews were then evaluated on the basis of the theoretical part. At the end of this thesis is a summary of influences of coaching, and the review of their importance for effective leadership.

Čermák, Radim ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Strossa, Petr (referee) ; Hřebíček, Jiří (referee) ; Dědič, Filip (referee)
Internet and websites are today one of the most important communication channels of almost all companies. They offer a simple, fast and effective way of communication, which is also available worldwide in a few seconds. With the globalization of market, more and more companies try to expand their business beyond the territory of the home state. In the current time of start-ups is the Internet also often a medium that allows formation of new spheres of business for which the website is absolutely essential channel. This type of business is internet based and has very often international ambitions from the very beginning. Given that each country (or region) can be seen as distinctive culture, it is advisable to locate websites for the needs of the foreign country. This is exactly the theme of this thesis. The concrete objective of this thesis is to offer a methodology for website localization in terms of webdesign. The basic building block is the delimitation of a multidisciplinary theoretical framework that examines the concept of culture and extensive literature review allowing current insight into the linking of website and culture, i.e. cultural website localization. Suitable method for gripping such a complex concept as a culture emerge from a theoretical framework as well. As the most appropriate method were determined Hofstedes cultural dimensions, which are then used for the analysis of cultural determination of web elements. Data collection for the purpose of analysis of web elements cultural determination is performed using a content analysis of websites from nine different countries. The results of the analysis are compared and synthesized with the findings stemming from a literature review. The final artifact of this thesis, a methodology for website localization from the perspective of web design, is based on this ground. Validation of the proposed methodology is done on the basis of assessment of the methodology for a domain of web design. This assessment is based on interviews with experts from different countries as well as presentation of concrete example of methodology use within a midsize website.
