THE MOST WELL - KNOWN WORED CUSINES - SPECIFICS FAST-FOOD, INFLUENCE ON HEALTH AND THEIR POPULARITY AMONG STUDENTS OF SOUTHBOHEMIAN UNIVERSITY
TESAŘOVÁ, Petra
The bachelor{\crq}s thesis deals with a very relevant topic in today{\crq}s times {--} nutrition. Whereas in some parts of the world there is deprivation and deficiency in this area, the problem in developed countries tends to be a surplus and the subsequent threats linked to a bad diet. Today, thanks to globalization, we more and more frequently come across the most diverse exotic meals and we are much more susceptible to trends connected to the changing lifestyle and growing number of fast food restaurants. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes basic information about nutrition and its influence on the health of human beings, and reminds of the main components of nutrition, their function and differing impacts on the organism. Subsequently, also the influence of nutrition on the health of human beings is described in more detail, as nutrition can be labeled as one of the highest risk factors in many illnesses. These illnesses, known as civilizational diseases, threaten a constantly growing part of the population, even though it is possible to fight them successfully, especially with prevention. Another goal of the theoretical part of the thesis is to show the differences among individual foreign cuisines, remind of their traditional dishes and most frequently used ingredients. The subsequent research is also focused in this direction and its results are presented in the empirical part of the thesis. The research part, executed via a questionnaire, is dedicated to the level of informedness of the respondents on the influence of specific foods on human health and the subsequent utilization of this information in practice. The research results document that although the majority of the respondents are informed about the negative influences of bad nutrition, they do not use this information too much in their decision making. Another goal of the thesis was the mapping of the situation in the area of eating and eating habits and the determination of the popularity and preferences of various international cuisines among students. The aggregate results prove that international cuisines are no longer completely taboo, and that the majority of the students orient themselves in this topic and visit foreign restaurants. In spite of that, traditional Czech cuisine, which is without a doubt the closest one to us, remains as the most popular.

Kopecký, Přemysl ; Zahradníčková, Marie (referee) ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor)
Resume Registered capital of a capital company and its creation and protection The dissertation work deals with one of the most important institutes of contemporary company law which is registered capital of a capital company and its creation and protection. The institute of registered capital has developed in historical consequences and still develops. The ideas of the registered capital of a joint stock company and its creation and protection as well as the ideas of functions which registered capital should undertake inside and outside the company and principles which should be followed for this purpose have stabilized within the European (continental) legal culture in an opinion scheme which can be generally called "a doctrine about a creation and maintenance of registered capital". The principles undertaken by this doctrine are anchored in the laws of the countries of the European (continental) legal culture mainly by cogent rules of law. The aforesaid doctrine has been a subject of polemic at the experts level and there has long time been an endeavour about a revision of this relatively stable system with reference to its imperfections. There is an alternative concept of company's capital existing in the countries of Anglo-American legal culture which chooses different approaches to the securing of...

Regeneration - possibilities and utilisation at assault police units
Macura, Jan ; Nováková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Majorová, Simona (referee)
Goals: Goals of this thesis was to determine informedness and exploitation of the regeneration procedures at the assault police units in Czech Republic and eventually in foreign special units. Next goal was deeper and more comprehensive review about possible regeneration procedures. With aim to document these newly obtained informations and present them to the police units as trustworthy for next use. This part was aimed to ease the access to the policemen to the informations in this area, to outline the advantages and encourage them to the use of the regeneration procedures, to protection of health and for increase the effectiviness of the preparation for their demanding work. Method: For determination of the use of regeneration procedures at police assault units we have used questionare method. Questionare has been sent to the seven assault police units in Czech republic and to the four foreign special units in European Union countries. Results: Results shows that most demanding activity is physical training, most frequent injuries are injuries of the extremities and joints. Mostly used regenaration procedures are sauna and massage. There is also clearly seen informedness and attitude of policemen to the regeneration procedures. Possible use in assault police use is proposed. Keywords: regeneration,...

Kotková, Petra ; Weiss, Petr (advisor) ; Šivicová, Gabriela (referee)
The rigorous thesis deal with the topic of sexual life of people suffering from the Parkinson's disease (PD) and their partners. The theoretical part contains basic information about PD and the results of researches on sexuality of people with this illness and their partners, focusing on the agents that influence PD. The empirical part comprises of a research project implemented on a set of 103 people with PD and 84 partners of the people with PD. In order to describe the specifics of the patients' and partners sexual lives, four sets of questions were designed (separate for men and women), containing a questionnaire on sociodemographic features, psychological (BDI-II, STAI) and sexuological questionnaires. The acquired data was statistically elaborated by means of the programme SPSS. Results of the sexuological questionnaires (GRISS, FSFI, SFŽ3, SFM, IIEF) show a decrease in sexual functions and a presence of sexual dysfunctions connected with PD. With the help of regressive models, it was elicited that in case of men with this illness, the most influential agent on their sexual life is depression and subjectively scoring the illness, in case of women the agent of depression and anxiety. In the sampling of partners of women with PD there was no deterioration of the sexual functions. In the sampling of...

Structural and functional characterization of yeast plasma membrane domains
Strádalová, Vendula ; Malínský, Jan (advisor) ; Palková, Zdena (referee) ; Konopásek, Ivo (referee)
Plasma membrane (PM) of living cells hosts variety of important cellular functions that must be precisely coordinated in space and time. Recent research shows that the plasma membrane is organized into specific domains to accomplish all these tasks. Our laboratory is focused on the organization of the plasma membrane in Saccharomyces cerevisiae where several distinct lateral compartments were identified at the fluorescence microscopy level. One of them is the Membrane Compartment occupied by arginine transporter Can1 (MCC) which consists of isolated, highly stable, ergosterol enriched, 300nm patches containing specific proton symporters and proteins of unknown function (Sur7- and Nce102-like). These membrane domains are organized by cytosolic protein complexes called eisosomes, composed mainly of proteins Pil1 and Lsp1. This work is a continuation of studies that tried to elucidate the composition, structure and function of MCC. In the first section of this work we concentrated on ultrastructural characterization of MCC domains. Foremost, we developed a protocol preserving the plasma membrane ultrastructure. The comparison of cryofixed and chemically crosslinked cells clearly showed that cryofixation by high pressure freezing together with freeze substitution and low temperature resin embedding...

Tax Measures during the Crisis 2008 - 2010
Kostohryz, Jiří ; Kubátová, Květa (advisor) ; Říhová, Lucie (referee)
The goal of this work is to analyse advantages and limits of tax measures taken to fight the crisis in period 2008 to 2010. In this work are motives and consequences (economic stimulation vs. needed state budget income) described. To achieve the goal of this work next methods were used: literature review, analysis, comparison and deduction. The research is focused on tax measures taken to fight the crisis all over the world, then specially in the Czech Republic. The comparison of most frequent tax measures in EU and OECD shows the tendency to take the advantage of stimulation effect of lowering taxes (mostly corporate income tax and taxation of labour). In the analysis of concrete measures economic and tax theory, historical and foreign experience were used. Finally the tax measures taken in the Czech Republic are similar to the main stream all over the world. The Czech anti-crisis measures are focused on lowering taxes more than on government expenditures increasing. In 2009 we can see a tendency to lowering taxes in the Czech Republic. On the other hand emphasis on fiscal function of taxes begins to prevail in 2010.
