Závěr Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit ucelený aktuální přehled vymezení povinností členů správních orgánů při výkonu funkce v rámci řízení a správy společnosti s důrazem na povinnost vykonávat funkci s péčí řádného hospodáře. V první kapitole jsem nastolila základní východiska, teoretické přístupy a nástroje obsažené v pojmu corporate governace. Vzhledem k velice obsáhlé problematice jsem se omezila na instituty, jejichž vymezení je nezbytné pro následný výklad. Další část jsem věnovala definici postavení správních orgánů a jejich vztahu vůči společnosti. Tyto byly dále rozvinuty v následující kapitole analyzující obecné povinnosti správních orgánů při výkonu jejich funkce v kontextu poznatků právní vědy a aktuální judikatury. Dle mé systematiky jsem vymezila mezi obecné povinnosti povinnost k osobnímu výkonu funkce, povinnost řídit se zásadami a pokyny schválenými valnou hromadou, povinnost dodržovat zákaz konkurence, povinnost zachovávat mlčenlivost, povinnost vykonávat působnost člena správního orgánu s péčí řádného hospodáře a povinnost loajality. Posledním dvěma jmenovaným povinnostem jsem se věnovala ve zvláštní kapitole vzhledem k významu, který povinnosti péče řádného hospodáře v této práci přikládám. Analysis of target market household income and efectivity of direct sales on the market of educational products

The bachelor thesis is focused on direct selling as the oldest part of current integrated marketing communications and its relation to household income of the target market. The objective of this thesis is to valorize the influence of the median household income on production of every direct salesman. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the description of direct sales and its position on the world market. Further it follows up with profiles of dealers, cycle of selling and the ways of direct sales organization. At the end of theoretical part I also describe market segmentation and the factor of household income. The purpose of analytical part of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the production of six chosen students who worked with Southwestern Advantage company in direct sales in years 2011 and 2012. Students sold educational products in various locations in the United States of America. In major part of the practical part of the bachelor thesis I compare the production of each student through each year and household income in the precise location. Fraction of the practical part is focused on the description of Southwestern Advantage, target market of the company, profiles of dealers working with the company and comparation of company's products and products of the closest rivals on the market. In conclusion I evaluate the relation between direct selling production on this market and household income in location sold and I suggest ways of either getting rid of the negative features or using it for company's advantage.

UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE FAKULTA SOCIÁLNÍCH VĚD Institut ekonomických studií Petra Konečná Ekonomie postsuverénního státu Bakalářská práce Praha 2011 Abstract In this bachelor thesis I focus on an influence of sovereignty to the economy of specific state. It defines what is understood under the term of sovereignty and describes various types of attitudes to the limitation of sovereignty. It presents historically attitudes of philosophers, thinkers and economists to this issue, focuses mainly on theories of natural law and emphasizes the conclusion of the social contract. It sets up possible division of sovereignty determined by limiting factors and it states several specific examples for illustration. In this thesis I show the necessity of perceiving economics in the context of other social sciences. I concentrate on taking advantage of position of post sovereign state by other economic participants through rent-seeking. I present new concepts of rent-seeking however some fundamental basis from classical point of view cannot be omitted without the loss of logic. At the end of this thesis I test an influence of composite indicators of governance on the rent-seeking behavior in the Czech Republic.

V predchozim zhodnoceni chronologie vzniku Hanusovych skladeb jsem se snazil naznaCit, ze Hanusovo dilo lze z tohoto hlediska rozelenit do etyr zakladnich obdobi. Prvnim z nich je obdobi od konce 30. let do konce let 40. DruM a treti obdobi maji stejne, zhruba dvacetilete trvani: druM od 50. do konce 60. let a tretf od 70. do konce 80. let. Posledni, etvrte obdobi zaCina v 90. letech a konCi Hanusovou smrti v roce 2004. K tomuto rozvrstveni lze najit paralelu co se tyee vyraznych historickych udalosti. Roky 1948, 1968 a 1989 zhruba odpovidaji vyse zminenemu easovemu rozeleneni Hanusovy tvorby. Dale jsem se snazil naznacit, ze v Hanusove dile existuji tfi vyrazne zanrove celky, kterymi jsou symfonie, mse a jevistni dila. Tyto skladby tvofi v ramci sveho zanru do jiste miry uzavreny cyklus a navle jednotlive skladby techto zanrovych celku vytvareji mezi sebou skupiny svazane nejen dobou vzniku, ale i spolecnym "myslenkovym zakladem". Obe tyto skutecnosti, tedy jak celky v ramci jednotlivych zanru, tak skupiny casove pfibuznych skladeb ruznych zanrUjsou samotnym Hanusem na ruznych mistech proklamovany. Domnivam se, ze lze hovofit 0 vylucnem postaveni, ktere maji tyto skladby v ramci celeho Hanusova dila. The personality of a novice teacher and his problems

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se rozhodla zamerit pozornost na problematiku související s uciteli, kterí stojí teprve na zacátku pedagogické dráhy. Postavení ucitele - zacátecníka je dosti komplikované. Pri vstupu do pedagogické praxe musí rešit celou radu problému, na které není vysokoškolským studiem pripraven. Nástup do praxe je tedy obdobím, které je duležité pro procesy hledání a utvárení profesionální identity. Ucitelovo pojetí výuky a zejména první rok ve škole je jednou z kritických fází v profesní dráze pedagoga. Postavení ucitele - zacátecníka je o to složitejší, že je od prvního dne svého pedagogického pusobení plne zodpovedný za výchovu a vzdelávání sverených žáku. Ve vetšine prípadu tedy nelze mluvit o žádném zapracovávání. Položme si tedy otázku: Jaké potíže provází zacínající pedagogy na zacátku jejich pedagogické dráhy? Jsou tyto problémy podrobne rozebrány v dostupné literature, nebo se nekterými zaobíráme príliš povrchne? Mají tyto problémy všichni ucitelé, nebo se potíže liší podle toho, zda ucí žena, ci muž? Na tyto a další otázky budu smerovat celou mou práci.

Project management in civil sector

Thesis deals with project management as a strategy for the organization. Attention is primarily devoted to defining the various concepts, principles and project management cycle. Much of the work is devoted to project management methods that facilitate and improve the work. They are described and evaluated the different organizational structures within which it is possible to implement the projects. A new trend is the emergence of project-oriented companies and organizations, which it defines and describes. The theoretical interpretation of the issue of creating a basis for research aiming to describe the experience in selected organizations in order to show other organizations how to access project management in organizations that have reached a certain position in the Czech Republic for the period of its operation.

Typology of regular cannabis users according to level of control

The thesis examines the patterns of use users maintain and observes their management or self-regulation process. To investigate this phenomenon of (Un)controlled marijuana use: rituals and informal social control in young regular users, qualitative semistructured interviews were conducted with 11 respondents about their use of marijuana. Data analysis was guided by Grounded Theory. Strategies are important in the use of marijuana. Users attempt to cope with risk and prevent social and health problems. They are responsible for monitoring their own use and make decision with regard to their rules, which they ought to abide by. Users consider whether smoking of cannabis could impair them. If their effort is successful, risk will be minimized and control over use will ensue. If users do not abide by internalized rules or even progress to the stage of absence of rules, they will fall into an uncontrolled (chaotic) pattern of use. An entire set of causal and intervening conditions influences the pattern and management of cannabis use.

The iconography of holy warriors of the Christian East and West

+e holy soldiers are one of the most venerated groups of saints in Eastern Christianity. +ey were, according to hagiographic literature, soldiers of the Roman army who believed in Christ and were martyred for their faith. Because of their military status, these saints were venerated in the Byzantine Empire as guardians and allies in war, as the patron saints of warriors, rulers and their families. +e cult of holy soldiers, however, was not restricted to Byzantium. It was also strong in all the countries that fell under the Byzantine influence. +e invocation of holy soldiers in military conflicts was restricted to a rather small number of saints. +e most famous and venerated of these were addressed in prayer. +e miracles attributed to the holy soldiers most o7en concern SS George, Demetrius, +eodor Stratelat and +eodor Teron. Descriptions of their interventions in battles became topoi in the written sources. During battles, the given holy soldier always appeared unexpectedly in armour, on a white horse, helped the army to victory and then vanished suddenly. Veneration of the Byzantine holy soldiers was not widespread in the West. St George, however, was an exception. His cult enjoyed a surprising popularity in the Western, Central European world. Comparison of Open Source relational database systems

This thesis deals with the subject of Open Source relational database systems. Its goal is to provide an overview about these systems, analyze their position on market and compare them according to predefined comparative criteria, which are focused on specific general features and administration of database systems. The first part of the thesis provides necessary theoretical knowledge about database systems describes currently most widely used types of these systems and explains the term Open Source software. Next one is aimed on how are these systems used in companies information systems and how are they positioned on database market. Third part presents four most widespread Open Source relational database systems, states their development in time from their creation till nowadays and what licenses are they provided under. Following is a part dedicated to specification of comparative criteria, which is followed by the comparison of database systems in these criteria, always using one of three evaluation methods. In the last part of thesis the final review of gained knowledge and the results of the comparison are presented in summarized graphs. The thesis could be used as a unified information source for computer specialists in different job positions - IT Managers, database administrators or systems integrators - while choosing suitable Open Source relation database system for engineered or redesigned information system of a company.
