ABSTRACT: The thesis titled "The Evolution of communication activities for pupils in grades 1-3 at primary school" based on the existing knowledge on the topic present their own knowledge through research, which focuses on the area of communication education, the development of communication activities in the educational process, and the education of Czech and Vietnamese pupils in the educational area of the language and the language of communication. In the theoretical part of the thesis systematize the existing knowledge relating to the topic and consider them starting points for the development. The main objective of the work, based on the empirical investigation, is to create and present an evolution of communication activities for pupils of younger school age during their first training period with regard to the education of pupils from the Vietnamese ethnicity. Using new teaching methods and educational strategies to support reading and reading literacy at the primary school.

This thesis deals with the use of innovative teaching methods and instructional strategies to support and develop literacy at the first grade of primary school. The theoretical part describes the changes in education related to curricular reform, also the change the objectives and the content of education towards the formation and development of key competencies, to prepare students for real life. This paper introduces the concept of contemporary Czech language and literature, its inclusion in the National Curriculum for Basic Education. The theoretical part focuses on the concept of literacy, reading literacy defined criteria. It also discusses the methods of critical thinking, which contribute to the development of reading skills. It also describes the course "Promoting literacy", which the author of the thesis completed in 2011. Research section presents action research, where the author verifies the theoretical knowledge of new specific methods and instructional strategies to promote literacy in practice. Research validates the effectiveness of innovative methods in terms of the development of key competencies for learning in terms of reading literacy criteria. Selected learning disabilities from the linguistic point of view

At the beginning of the bachelor thesis the various learning disorders will be defined in context of cognitive and psycholinguistic researches focusing mainly on children dyslexia and dysgraphia. The causes of these disorders and the classification of their types will be characterized based on the scholarly literature used as a source in the thesis. Another major section deals with the current diagnostic and therapeutic approaches towards the dyslexia and dysgraphia including the possible remedies and the evaluation of the available materials and tools. Finally, the two types of fundamental questions regarding the linguistic approach towards learning disorders will be described; the questions already having a solution and those remaining open to discussion. At the end the findings from the theoretical part will be concluded and linked with the following research.

Level of graphomotor skills of preschool children before entering elementary school

There are currently increasingly debated issues of entering the schooling, especially in the terms of levels of preparedness to enter the first grade and the school's requirements on the first- graders. This is due to a large number of often complex changes which the entrance into the first grade means for the children and their families. It is the best for the first-graders do all these changes without undue frustration, it is necessary that their physical, mental and neural development and readiness were on sufficient level. Because of extensiveness of this topic, only the part of it was selected for this thesis, as its name says: The level of graphomotor skills of preschool children before entering elementary school. The area of graphomotor skills is presented in the context of writing skills throughout this thesis. The legislative definition of compulsory school attendance and the issue of writing as an essential part of literacy is covered within the theoretical part. The Problems in Writing of Left-handed Pupils

The thesis "The Problems in Writing of Left-handed Pupils" is focused on the dificulties in the first steps of writing of left-handed children in primary schools. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretic part we deal with the laterality and the left-handness in general. Further we deal with the development of left-handness in the history and nowadays and first of all with the development of motor skills of the left-handed children in the preschool age. The next aim is to chart the difficulties in the preschool period and the potencional problems in writing. The main part of our thesis is focused on the correct methodological help with writing in the first class in primary schools. The other part of our thesis is practical part. In this part we focus on the analysis of the writing edacation for the left-handed pupils in the first classes in the schools in Central Bohemian Region. We studied the quantity of the left-handed boys and the left-handed girls, the correct holding of writing tools, the slope of paper, the slope of letters, the correct sitting, the using of ergonomic tools and the using of pens or pencils.

Graphomotorical readiness of children entering elementary school from the perspective of kindergarten and primary school teachers

The bachelor work focuses on the graphomotoric readiness of children upon their admission to an elementary school. Its first part covers a theoretical knowledge on child development from the motoric, graphic, and graphomotoric aspect. Then it describes initial writing as well as current curricula for pre-school and elementary education in writing. The second practical part is devoted to educational research on perception of readiness of preschool children in terms of the development of their graphomotoric skills. The issue is examined foremostly by questionnaire method involving teachers of kindergartens and first classes of elementary schools. Other research methods as well as the analysis of data and their assessment are described.

How to write a literary story

This work deals with the methodology of the creation of a literary story. Its aim is to provide the reader with advices from literary active writers, who were somehow engaged in this issue in the past. This work is divided into four parts. The first part is concerned with inborn and gained dispositions which the author should have. The second part introduces the story and its planning to the reader. The third part is about the process of creation a separate story. And the last one the fourth part deals with the process of correction.

Testing of pupils in German language at basic school

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to find out, if the level of knowledge of German language at pupils at basic schools in the Czech Republic is increasing, stagnating or decreasing and what factors influence their results. In the theoretic part I am going to deal with testing of pupils in Europe and in the Czech Republic. After that there is introduced a list of all standard assessment tests of German language on level A1 and A2. Then there are compared standard assessment tests ?Fit in Deutsch? and ?Start Deutsch? with the tests of Czech School Inspection from 2012/2013. In the research part I focus on the development of pupils? knowledge of German language at basic schools. The research is based on the assigned tests from 2007, 2010 and 2013. On the basis of these tests and filled questionnaires I am trying to find answers on the set research questions and to check correctness of the set hypotheses or alternatively to find other factors that influence pupils? knowledge of German language.
