Body mass changes during breeding in birds

Body mass is one of the criteria estimating individual's body condition and predicates an ability to cope with environmental conditions. To maintain the body condition the individual needs energy supply. In my essay I am concerned with life-history strategies of birds through the adjustment with increased energy demands during incubation period and with changes in body mass relating with these strategies. The individual can cover energy requirements directly from food ("income breeder") or make an energy storage in advance and draw the energy later during breeding ("capital breeder"). According to the type of breeding environment, access of strategy evolves and how changes its body mass in consequence of the elected strategy. Income breeding occur in small birds in good predictable environment with high food abundance and it is characterized by varying body mass changes. In contrast, capital breeding occur in hardly predictable environments or in cold areas with low food abu ndance and it is characterized by linear mass loss. Body mass has a great influence on breeding success. Female make a decision to breed or not based on her body condition. Breeding with female bad body conditon incerases a risk of abandoning the nest and nest failure. Another important factors are e.g. the weather, age of breeding...

The Position of India in The World Economy

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the state of Indian economy, its current and future expected development and position in the world economy. In the first chapter a recent development of Indian economy conditional on adopted reforms and a sectoral composition of economy are described. The second chapter deals with an involvement of the country in international economic relations and especially concerns about trade in goods and services and inflows of Foreign Direct Investment. A concomitant of current development in the world economy is a growing importance of BRIC countries that India also belongs to. The expected development and potentials and risks of further development are described in the third chapter.

Inland waterway transport of dangerous goods

When transporting dangerous goods, there are many direct and subsidiary risks associated with transportation of such goods for people, property, animals, infrastructure and even so environment. This diploma thesis deals with way of such transport by using inland waterways. It's targeted at anybody who wants to be informed of international legislation, possibilities, risks and other issues associated with inland waterway transport process.

This diploma thesis address to a contractual ensuring of an international transportation from the business and the legal points of view as a part of intenrational business operations. It describes the clasification of freight transports and its economic significance in the world an in the case of the Czech Republic, as well. The thesis also characterizes the different types of transport contracts from the points of view of the Czech legislation as well as international treaties that is the Czech Republic a part of, including the ways of ensuring the customs declaration of transported goods. The thesis also includes a practical part focused on specifics of a dangerous goods transportation and the analysis of the related risks.

Conduct disorders among adolescents in te context of socialization

This thesis is discussing conduct disorders among children and adolescents. The goal of this thesis is to map risk and dangerous factors and their influence in a context of socialization and look into its nature in relation to their acts of behavior. In order to preserve unity and coherence, this thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the first part, we present socialization, its phases, its means and its methods. Further, we concentrate on concrete elements of socialization, especially on family environment, school environment and peer groups. According to conduct behavior, we target the epidemiology and diagnostical criterions. We divide conduct disorders into conduct disorders with good prognosis and conduct disorders with bad prognosis and we describe these disorders. Then, we concentrate on a borad range of acting-out behaviors. We refer to both nonaggressive and aggressive behaviors. In following part, we mention etiology. We present risk factors, specifically biological, psychological and social risk factors. In conclusion of the theoretical part, we will talk about the prevention, the formative intervention and the therapy for children and adolescents engaged in conduct problems behaviors. Investment and Commercial Opportunities for our Enterprises in Selected Territories

Diploma thesis on the Investment and Commercial Opportunities for our Enterprises in Selected Territories deals with gradual internalization of Czech enterprises. Author aims to describes development of OFDI in connection with development of IFDI. The work attempts to find out whether the Czech OFDI development corresponds with concept "Investment Development Path" (IDP). Risks of dual economy are also regarded. In the next part the thesis is concerned with need of international supporting policy and its institutional assurance. The last part focuses on investment and commercial opportunities of our enterprises in present and mainly prospective markets. Czech production used to be very well-known in these markets and still has good reputation.

Development of the external economic balance of the Czech Republic and analysis of the influencing factors

The thesis deals with the development of the external economic balance and the influencing factors. It describes the development of individual accounts of the balance of payments from 1993 to 2010 and it mainly focuses on last years and on the time of financial and economic crisis. Consequently in accordance to the basic theoretical concepts, it defines factors which can influence the individual parts of the balance of payments, and it analyzes the mutual relations. On the basis of analysis of the trade balance, current account, basic balance and total balance it was confirmed that the Czech Republic does not have a high risk of external imbalance. But during the financial and economic crisis the external balance worsened, the export of goods and import of direct investment decreased, the balance of income worsened. It was also approved that the external and internal income significantly influence the external balance of the Czech Republic.

Electronic payments on the internet and their practical implementation

The number of economic opportunities on the Internet is growing together with the intensive expansion of internet users. It is important to connect the internet sale of goods and services with electronic payment methods in order to be effective. The aim of the thesis is to describe electronic payments placed on the Internet, description of their different usage and popularity in accordance with geographical location of the customer, assets and risks, and payment costs and fees. This text offers facts that the provider should consider before choosing some payment method, and on the other hand facts which the payers (end users) consider important. Paid-service provider is introduced to different payment instruments with reference to the use in Czech internet environment. Each type of payment method is illustrated by an example with detailed description of installation progress in practical part of the text.

This thesis scrutinizes theory of consignment stocks including all significant aspects connected with establishing and operating a consignment stock. Different alternatives of distribution systems of one particular company producing and selling consumer goods are specified in the research chapter. The aim of the thesis is to present a realistic business plan for providing banking service and independent financial advisory. The thesis shows the collaboration possibility of multinational corporation UniCredit Group, renowned Czech company Partners Financial Services and the flexibility and motivation of a small local start-up. This is possible thanks, franchising, a specific form of entrepreneurship, which the thesis describes in general and also in a specific situation of the given business plan, of the local franchise branch store PM Nymburk s.r.o. Business plan itself shows specifically the setup of the company, procedures, summarizes the risks and confirms good projection of the economical success.
