Our analysis insists on findings and approaches coming from philosophical, philosophical antropology perspectives, from philosophy of social science, sociology of knowledge, theories issue from social and cultural antropology, political philosophy and post-structuralist philosophy of language that takes language as an instrument or image of understanding and word sense as an intertextual. The aim of this text is to introspect terms, definitions, constructs and optics of multicultural education concepts from the point of view of critical philosophy of education. The aim of the thesis "Assessment of emploees" is to suggest and introduce a system of assessment of emploees in a company Internet, s. r. o. on the base of theoretical knowledge. The work is logicaly devoted, firstly, to analyse work posts and summarise not only theoretical knowledge in this field but, secondly, it also desribes its actual realization in conditions of a Czech company. But the main theme of the work is assessment of emploees. My work describes this from the theoretical and also practical point of view, but in wider extend than assessment of emploees. In my work there are also introduced assessment results and suggestions for their implementation into other personnal activities.

Implementation and Application of Statistical Methods in Research, Manufacturing Technology and Quality Control
Kupka, Karel ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with modern statistical approaches and their application aimed at robust methods and neural network modelling. Selected methods are analyzed and applied on frequent practical problems in czech industry and technology. Topics and methods are to be benificial in real applications compared to currently used classical methods. Applicability and effectivity of the algorithms is verified and demonstrated on real studies and problems in czech industrial and research bodies. The great and unexploited potential of modern theoretical and computational capacity and the potential of new approaces to statistical modelling and methods. A significant result of this thesis is also an environment for software application development for data analysis with own programming language DARWin (Data Analysis Robot for Windows) for implemenation of effective numerical algorithms for extaction information from data. The thesis should be an incentive for boarder use of robust and computationally intensive methods as neural networks for modelling processes, quality control and generally better understanding of nature.

Legal issues of banking supervision
Jurošková, Lenka ; Bakeš, Milan (advisor) ; Boháč, Radim (referee) ; Dřevínek, Karel (referee)
Banking regulation and supervision has come to the fore of attention mainly in recent several years, as the banking sector has undergone important and far-reaching changes. To some extent these changes reflect globalization, financial innovation and technological development. Political agents and regulators seek to respond to these changes, but they are unable to keep pace with them, as proved by the numerous banking crises. In response to such crises the existing rules and practices tend to be complemented or entirely rebuilt. The current global financial crisis that highlighted a range of deficiencies is no exception. At the present time, therefore, there is a wide array of initiatives and proposals, aimed at improving the current system of banking regulation and supervision. This "regulatory mania" is welcomed by some, disapproved by others. Hence, the first of the aims of this work is to tackle the deficiencies within the system of banking regulation and supervision. Furthermore, it aims to assess the submitted and even the already adopted proposals and discover whether these can lead to an improved system of banking regulation and supervision at all. This aim, however, cannot be achieved without an analysis of the existing system of banking regulation and supervision, which therefore...

Ordinary differential equations and their applications in physics
Soukup, Lubomír ; Kisela, Tomáš (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
Numerous tasks of engineering practice lead to ordinary differential equations. In many cases these equations exist as mathematic formalization of appropriate physical laws. The aim of this thesis is to mention some of these problems especially with regard to the topic discussed within the studies at FSI VUT in Brno.

A year ago a discussion with the topic of the long-term care hospital, where the most numerous group of patiens is formed by older population, took place in mass media. I do not agree with the image of health resorts for the long-term sick presented to the public by mass media. I decided to demonstrate the functioning of good practice through the example of the hospital in the town of Pelhřimov and its section of curative rehabilitating unit. In the theoretical part of my dissertation I deal with the problems of ageing, gerontology and geriatrics. I also characterize a geriatrics patient.. Then I devote myself to the structure of helath services and their finance, to the brief description of the history of the Czech institutional care aimed at the historical development of the follow-up health care and its prezent state. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the concept of quality, to the definition of this concept, to the quality of health services, to the indicators of quality, to the accreditation and certification. The empiric part of my dissertation deals with the general description of the hospital aimed at the terapeutic rehabilitating unit, farther I devote myself to the qualitative research, to the metod of obtaining data, to the finishing complex of respondents and to the data...
