The subject of my diploma thesis is motivation and stimulation of employees in the Otis Company. This thesis is divided into two parts and includes theoretical and practical elaboration of the issue. The first part provides a theoretical basis related to motivation, stimulating and remuneration of employees. In the practical part I analysed the current situation of the chosen company. Based on detected results I identified key problem areas and I made a proposal for improving of existing incentive system.

This thesis deals with a project whose mission is to optimize the social services of the entity, so as to increase the motivation and productivity of employees. The aim of this master thesis is to describe and analyze motivation and remuneration process in the spin-off enterprise of Siemens, based in Mohelnice. The theoretical part includes the definitions of basic terms in this field. The practical part deals with the company mentioned above and the analysis of its motivation and remuneration process. The output of this thesis lies in the findings of examination how the current motivational tools of the company work and how much the employees are satisfied with it. I provide the list of suggestions for improvement of the process with aim to increase the employees’ satisfaction in the conclusion.

My bachelor’s thesis puts forth the proposal for improvement of the stimulation for employees in a company. The first part summarizes current knowledge about motivation, stimulation and its influence to performance. In the second part there is a presentation company and there are analyzed methods which are used for employee’s motivation in described company in actual practice. The final part finds the correct form of stimulative means that should hold present employees, should lead to growth performance in the company and connect individual target with corporate purpose.

The second section describes the current state of company,including the analysis of the payroll system of employees and the internal and external analysis of this company. The last part of the thesis is devoted to proposals for changes in the current payroll system.
