This thesis results from theoretical resources as are general analysis used for the purpose of the market studies oriented on business sector as well as common environment and its own functioning and the thesis is based on the competitive strategy defined by M.E. Porter. Further the thesis is dealing with data resources and methods of data handling, including data collection, classification, segmentation and its following evaluation. Master´s thesis is the guideline for the market analysis and decisions concerning entering new markets and among others gives the answers to the questions concerned the actual situation on the market and subjects that are operation on the market.
Possibilities of data analysis from CAN bus
Krišková, Mahulena ; Pančík, Juraj (referee) ; Belák, Michal (advisor)
This Master’s thesis covers possibilities of data collection and data analysis from CAN. Historical background and current trends are described as well as the principle of operation. The aim of this thesis was to provide several methods of data reading and subsequently their possible ways of interpretation for purposes of Forensic Engineering, more precisely, in the terms of vehicle driving dynamics. Owing to the fact the messages on the CAN bus are themselves encoded, one is unable to read them without further decryption. However, the possibilities of decoding are limited. Individual methods of data reading, collection, and analysis are presented. The analysis is focused on the process of data collection form CAN bus and data decryption. From several software options, one was selected as a tool for experimental part.
Establishing of a Small Company
Zahradník, Michal ; Řezníček, Michal (referee) ; Koráb, Vojtěch (advisor)
The present thesis deals with the establishment of a small business. It focuses more specifically on a business oriented on French wines and specialities. The theoretical part deals with the general explanation of concepts such as entrepreneur and small business, theory of business plan, collection and analysis of market-connected data. The analytical part includes research in the form of questionnaire with the aim of discovering customers´ preferences in the gastronomical market. The analytical part contains further analysis according to Porter, SLEPT analysis and SWOT analysis. The practical part focuses on the business plan of the small business with all its requirements.
Electric energy meter with support of automatic remote acquisition
Skala, Milan ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design and implementation of electric energy meter with support of automatic remote data collection. For the collecting of measured data is used narrowband PLC technology. The theoretical part describes the basic properties and standards of narrowband PLC technology, such as types of coupling circuits, modulations, frequency bands and interference problems. In the practical part, there is description of selected parts, such as control circuit power meter, modem, microcontroller and UART to USB converter. There are further described basic properties of narrowband PLC modem ST7570 by STMicroelectronics. The final chapter, implementation of the device, deals with designs of circuit PLC modem ST7570, power meter ADE7753 and converter USB to UART CP2102.
Cryptography on constrained devices
Šťovíček, Petr ; Jedlička, Petr (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis analyzes the possibilities of applying cryptographic primitives and protocols to various computationally and memory constrained devices. It then implements a secure data collection system from sensors. In its theoretical part, the work examines individual cryptographic algorithms, the RIOT operating system and available methods of wireless data transmission. It then presents the results of performance tests of various cryptographic operations. On this basis, it designs and implements a system that ensures the confidentiality, authenticity and integrity of transmitted data.
Intelligent systems of mass data acquisition in power grids
Kretek, František ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
his semestral thesis deals with problems of multiple data collection over power lines. It is included separation of the power lines. Principles and functions of transport technology PLC, GSM and GPRS. Requirements on security of transported data.
A New Generation of an IPFIX Collector
Huták, Lukáš ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Wrona, Jan (advisor)
This master's thesis addresses processing of flow monitoring records from a point of view of an IPFIX collector. It analysis the current solution of the modular collector, which went through considerable historical development, and focuses on revealing its strengths and weaknesses. Based on acquired knowledge, a new collector is designed. The new solution, which significantly modifies individual components for processing of flow records, focuses on high throughput and adds missing functionalities. The document also compares performance of both generations and the new collector clearly dominates.
