Stress analysis of eye bolts
Kareš, Pavel ; Kubík, Petr (referee) ; Vaverka, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the calculation of stress arising from the loading of an open or closed eye bolts. The first part of the thesis provides an overview of eye bolts, their uses, and their differences. It also describes the theoretical background necessary for correctly solving the tasks in the second part of the thesis. The second part presents a total of four examples of stress calculations. The first two examples are solved for an open eye bolts, and the last two for a closed eye bolt. For each type of eye, two examples are solved: one task for axial loading and one task for loading perpendicular to the bolt's axis. Each task includes an analysis of the example and determination of the internal stress resultants (ISR). From the knowledge of the ISR, the critical point is found, and the maximum stress is determined, first using the theory of straight beams and then the theory of curved beams. Additionally, the safety factor is calculated using each maximum stress. At the end of each example, an analysis is also performed using the numerical method in the ANSYS Workbench software. Finally, a comparison is made between the results from the analytical calculation and those from the ANSYS software.
Preparation and design of the production of bevel gears using the Reverse engineering method
Šimáček, Daniel ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
This thesis addresses the reverse engineering of the assigned gears. The first part is dedicated to a theoretical review of the issues related to bevel gears, strength calculations of the gearing and defects that can occur during operation. This is followed by the production of bevel gears with helical teeth and the most common heat treatment of gears. The second part emphasizes the actual process of reverse engineering, describing the digitization of gears and their conversion into a solid body in CAD software. After obtaining the key dimensions of the gear set, an analytical calculation of the load capacity in contact and bending is performed, accompanied by a numerical calculation using the finite element method to determine the bending stress at the tooth root. Dimension verification is conducted through dimensional analysis in specialized software to potentially reveal deviations and inaccuracies in construction based on 3D scanning. The final part deals with the design of the technological process for the production of gears, followed by a technical-economic assessment of the preparation and actual production of the gears. The drawing documentation was created based on the 3D volumetric models generated from the scanned gears

Surkoš, Ondřej ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Smital, Lukáš (advisor)
With the growing importance of mental health in society and the increasing availability of wearable technology, biological signals offer a unique opportunity to monitor and manage stress in everyday life. The diploma thesis focuses on the automatic stress recognition of biological signals measured by wearable devices. Therefore, in the theoretical part, key terms related to stress and wearable devices are defined and selected biological signals relevant for stress detection are described. The work also presents several publicly available datasets and describes current stress recognition methods, together with the achieved results. The practical part of the work is devoted to the construction of the dataset, data preprocessing and the development of an algorithm for recognizing stress in the MATLAB program environment. In particular, machine learning techniques are used both for feature extraction and selection, as well as for the classics themselves. The performance of the proposed models, which reached an accuracy of up to 81.1 % in the case of the unified dataset, 97.1 % in the case of the WESAD dataset and 80 % in the case of the Non-EEG Biosignals dataset, are presented and discussed in the final part of the work, together with by finding a great influence of the methodology and the equipment used during data acquisition on the performance of individual models.

Last but not least, that the most strongest stressor for student are time demands. Lastly, the research also makes recommendations for universities, specifically to...
Support of self-regulation throughtprogram of socio-emotional learning at elementary
Jánská, Adriana ; Felcmanová, Lenka (advisor) ; Tirpák, Jan (referee)
Stress has been a part of humanity since its origin, nevertheless, due to the recent pandemic the interest in this topic has dramatically increased. The theoretical part of the thesis "Support of self-regulation through a program of socio-emotional learning at elementary school" gives an introduction to brain functions and stress. A strong emphasis is put on methods about how to reduce stress and preventive programs focused on well-being in schools. The theoretical part also includes a chapter dealing with trauma that can be caused by severe negative stress experiences in childhood or adulthood. The thesis aims to determine whether the use of the RRRR methodology contributes to the improvement of the child's stress management strategies. A mixed design, i.e., a combination of qualitative and quantitative research, was chosen to meet the objectives of this thesis. Action research was chosen as the main method and was conducted in a 6th grade of primary school. For data collection, the researcher's classroom observation method was chosen during the implementation of activities selected from the RRRR methodology, specifically from the part for grades 4-5 and grades 6-7 in primary school. In addition, a questionnaire completed by students in the research and control classes before and after the...
Psychohygiene of a paramedic
POSPÍŠILOVÁ, Erika
This study focuses on the psychohygiene of emergency medical responders, aiming to understand the professional demands on their mental health and well-being. The work analyzed stress factors, burnout syndrome, and mental health, examining the influence of stress on individuals and the importance of mental hygiene and self-care. The main objective was to ascertain the perception of psychological demands among emergency medical responders in prehospital care. The theoretical part of the study addresses issues of mental disorders, the influence of stress, and its effects on emergency medical responders. The practical section sought answers to predetermined hypotheses through research. The research was based on a questionnaire survey distributed among emergency medical responders. Based on the findings, it was observed that many responders experience stressful situations related to their work, which can have a negative impact on their mental health and well-being. We found no significant difference in the perception of psychological demands between genders. There was no difference in the perception of psychological demands based on length of practice. We also identified various activities that emergency medical responders engage in for their mental hygiene. The results indicate that providing support for stress management and mental health care is crucial for emergency medical responders in their professional lives. The conclusions of this study may contribute to a better understanding of responders' needs and the support of their mental health and well-being in the workplace. In the conclusion of the bachelor's thesis, in addition to summarizing the research results and evaluating the fulfillment of objectives, recommendations for current practice among emergency medical responders are provided. These recommendations are derived from the findings and can serve as a practical guide for improving the care of mental health among emergency medical responders in their professional environment.
Vliv typu ustájení na reakci koní na nový předmět
ČERNÁ, Michaela
Horses are highly sensitive animals that react intensely to new objects or environments that are unfamiliar to them. This rapid response stems from their natural role as prey in the wild, which is why they have instinctive fright reactions. The aim of this thesis was to develop a methodology for testing horses' reactions to new objects based on available literature and to evaluate the influence of factors such as type of housing and the age of the horses. The testing included 18 horses aged between 1 and 22 years from three types of housing (active stable, box housing, and pasture housing). Fear tests lasting 5 minutes monitored reactions to objects such as colored ribbons and a blue tarp. The mattress crossing test lasted a maximum of 10 minutes. In both fear tests with colored ribbons and the tarp, horses from box housing showed greater signs of nervousness. Statistically, they spent more time moving compared to horses from the active stable (an average of 10,5 seconds more for colored ribbons and 4,8 seconds more for the tarp). Conversely, individuals from active stables consistently spent more time exploring (an average of 17 seconds more for colored ribbons and 25 seconds more for the tarp). In the fear test of mattress crossing, no difference was demonstrated between the horses from the observed types of housing (p-value = 0,679 > 0,05). A correlation analysis assessed the influence of age on the duration of various behavioral displays when encountering a new object. In the case of the tarp and colored ribbons test, older horses spent less time standing, exploring, galloping, and inside the designated circle compared to younger individuals. Conversely, older horses walked more and spent more time on the tarp and eating compared to younger ones. Older horses needed more time to overcome the mattress compared to younger ones (r = 0,12). The significance of the enriched environment, presented in this work by the active stable, is in the milder reaction of horses to new objects and the reduced risk during human contact.
