Differences in management of team - differences in leading a group between men a women

The thesis looks into a problem of group leadership differences between men and women. The theoretical part covers basic gender distinctions, explains communication issues and introduces basic terminology on the field of Scout activity. The practical part is situated in Scout environment. It investigates differences in public opinion on male vs. female Scout leader status, opinions on appropriate leader competencies and on various styles of leadership of male and female bodies. The research has been conducted by means of questionnaires and follow-up in-person discussion. As the research concludes, a male leader is generally accepted as being better suited, although the respondents themselves deny this fact throughout the discussion.
Family development in historical context

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to investigate the situation of today's families the Western world and analyze the stages of its historical development. The theoretical part begins with a family concept, its basic characteristics and outline their types and functions, which is to perform. In historical summary, we discuss the aspects of the development of family structures since primitive communism through another historical epoch, which continues to discuss the issue of the family present, at which pinpoints the essential characteristics and trends of today's developments. The following is an overview of the developmental phases of the life of a typical family today of the Western world and sociological analysis of the functioning of today's family in relation to the school, the state and to its members and its surroundings. In conclusion, we are adding a short probe of life for families in countries outside the western world. In the practical part by quantitative questionnaire we deal with the problems of today's contemporary Czech family, we examine the practical aspects of its functioning and orientation of opinion of people in this area.
Gender analysis of the documents intended to eliminate social exclusion

Submitted thesis is addressing the phenomenon of social exclusion from the gender perspective. Local issues of social exclusion is trying to resolve Central Bohemian town Kralupy nad Vltavou by producing written documents as an instrument to deal with this phenomenon. Documents look into the current situation and possibilities for change in order to achieve gradual elimination of negative effects related to social exclusion in all domains of citizens live, male or female, should they be affected by social exclusion. By using the methodology of critical gender qualitative content analysis Im to find out the way the concerned documents include the subject of gender and what role the gender stereotypes play. In the theoretical section I focus on the field of social work, which is as a discipline, heavily affected by stereotyped gender views and since its origins, faces constant misconceptions of being predominantly female profession. The role of men in current romantic relationship

The thesis "The role of men in current romantic relationships" is dedicated to the concept of manhood with an emphasis on romantic relationships and focuses specifically on an identity development and its male specifics, masculinity and various developmental paths leading to an achievement of manhood. It also describes the basic characteristics of romantic relationships and specifies the role of men in them. The empirical study is based on a qualitative methodology and maps male perspective of romantic relationships. Further focus is on how men perceive the romantic relationship and their role in it. Fifty men involved in a romantic relationship participated in this study. Participants filled in projective questionnaires, namely Incomplete sentences and Life at romantic relationship and its parts. The research results refer the cathegories of romantic relationship including its detailed descriptions from the perspective of participants and also offer an overview of activities done by men within the partnership with no claim for any generalization. Cinception of the relationship between man and woman in the morally formative prosaic cycle written by Šimon Lomnický from Budeč

This diploma thesis deals with life and work of a pre-White Mountain period poet, prosaist and dramatist Šimon Lomnický of Budeč, taking the period criticism into account. The thesis focuses on his ethical series, especially the work Kupidova střela, whose central motive is the relationship between a man and a woman. With regard to Lomnický's frequent use of exempla, this term is defined, along with the brief historical development of exemplum. Next the thesis deals with the exemplum in the context of the given ethical series. The key chapter called The Approach to Relationships between Man and Woman depicts Lomnický's conception of marriage, incest, sodomic sin and a revenge as well. Within this chapter the typology of men's and women's characters is given, those who appear in Kupidova střela.
