Relationship between smart phones usage and procrastination among university students
Farná, Karolína ; Vranka, Marek (advisor) ; Švecová, Martina (referee)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the problematic use of the Internet in mobile phones and procrastination among university students. The aim of the work is to find out if there is a correlation between these phenomena. The thesis introduces the theoretical basis and theoretically anchors concepts such as addiction, procrastination and digital society. The practical part of the work is processed using a quantitative research method, specifically, a questionnaire survey is used. The questionnaire is distributed among university students online. The results show that there is a correlation between procrastination and internet addiction in mobile phones.

This diploma thesis deals with possibility of using a mobile phone to measure vehicle dynamics and determine the accuracy of this measurement. In the research part, it is first mentioned what methods are used to produce sensors for mobile phones. Next, a description of individual sensors that can be used for vehicle dynamics measurement, the principle by which the sensors record measured values and their inaccuracies. The practical part shows with which professional device the accuracy of the mobile phone is compared, how data can be collected from both devices and how the comparison measurement was performed. This section also describes the ways in which the measured data of the mobile phone can be improve for better accuracy, and finally the comparison of the measured values from both devices from different points of view.
3D model of the selected object
Veselý, Milan ; Nosek, Jakub (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to assess the accuracy of photogrammetric results from images taken with a low-cost Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro camera and a professional digital SLR camera Canon EOS 6D Mark II with a 24 mm fixed lens. The chapel of St. John of Nepomuk near Guntramovice was chosen as the subject for the images. Forty-nine insertion and control points were targeted and scanned at the chapel. Block and beam alignment and creation of 3D mesh models was performed in Bentley ContexCapture software. The standard deviations of all three axes (X, Y, Z) and positional standard deviation on the control points and deviations relative to a reference point cloud acquired with a ground-based laser scanner were statistically tested. The results show that, with the right imaging and processing methods, comparable results can be achieved using a low-cost camera.
Accuracy Assessment of Photogrammetric Results from Low Cost and Professional Camera
Prokop, Jaromír ; Nosek, Jakub ; Kalvoda, Petr ; Veselý, Milan
The aim of the article was to assess the accuracy of photogrammetric results using images of a low-cost camera, a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro mobile phone, and a Canon EOS 6D Mark II professional digital reflex camera. A total of 51 control and checkpoints were created at the chapel, and it was scanned by a terrestrial laser scanner. Bundle block adjustment and mesh model generation were performed using Bentley ContextCapture. 2D standard deviations and standard deviations of elevation at checkpoints and deviations from the reference terrestrial laser scanning point cloud were statistically tested. The results show that with a suitably selected imaging configuration, high-quality photogrammetric results can be achieved even with a low-cost camera
Assessment of the efficacy of an eHealth intervention including lapse management program in population of Czech tobacco smokers.
Kulhánek, Adam ; Gabrhelík, Roman (advisor) ; Ochaba, Robert (referee) ; Riegel, Karel Dobroslav (referee)
Background: Tobacco use is one of the key problems that public health has to face. Tobacco smoking is among the main causes of morbidity and preventable mortality that can be effectively avoided. The eHealth approach uses information and communication technologies to improve the quality of health and healthcare. EHealth interventions delivered through technologies and the Internet are an effective therapeutic tool which contributes to behaviour change, including smoking cessation. This paper presents the results of continuous research on fully automated online eHealth intervention for smoking cessation. Aims: The main objective of this study was to identify the effect of the form of reminders (SMS vs. email) in eHealth smoking cessation intervention using the Endre eHealth program in the population of Czech tobacco smokers. Materials and methods: This research consists of two studies. First, a pilot study on user- acceptance of eHealth intervention was performed in a sample involving 30 respondents. This was followed by a randomized two-arm controlled study comparing the effect of a predictor in the form of eHealth intervention reminders for smoking cessation. Adult tobacco smokers were recruited based on advertising through a variety of online channels. 158 respondents were randomised for the...

Audio Streaming for Android Devices Using UPnP
