Non-traditional Musical Instruments and their Utilization in Music Education Lessons

This bachelor thesis Non-traditional Musical Instruments and their Utilization in Music Education Lessons focuses on homemade instruments and common objects and deals with their usage in elementary music activities. The chapter about musical instruments aims to classify the non-traditional instruments and puts them into the context of traditional and children's musical instruments. A Few examples of homemade musical instruments are given. Afterwards, advantages and disadvantages related to production and implementation of handcrafts in education are discussed, while considering various criteria (accessibility, pedagogical, and psychological points of view etc.). An emphasis is put on Orff-pedagogy, which can work as the basis for music education, utilizing non-traditional musical instruments. At the end of the thesis, activities and games developing musical abilities (primarily rhythmic ability) via the use of non-traditional musical instruments are included.

Practical part concretes business plan and judges its chance for a success.

Perception of shape of minor objects by five-year old children

The bachelor thesis deals with the perception of shape of minor objects by five-year old children and further processing of such perceptions. The main objective of this thesis is to map how the children of this age distinguish the selected shapes, how they compare them, whether they are able to remember and identify them, which words they use when identifying the shapes, and what is the role of the way of perception itself in the identification process. To meet this objective the author applies the laboratory experiment method. The experiment was conducted in a kindergarten and the objects used were parts of building sets "Otíkova stavebnice" and "Netradiční stavebnice". The objects were of different shape, colour and size but the children were always able to hold them in one hand. Movement Games for Children from 5-8 Years Old with the Aim of Harmonic Development

Motoric games are one of the most popular and widespread activities at the primary and nursery schools. There is so many of them that they can be easily used during the whole year and across all school subjects. The thesis on the theme "Motoric games of children from 5 to 8 years of age" with a focus on their harmonic development is above all dealing with specialized literature characterizing the mental and physical aspect of a child's personality at the given age. After examining the literature, based on the information gathered on the child's development, several criteria for harmonic child's development were set out. These criteria were than used as a basis for compiling the Collection of motoric games optimal for a harmonic child's development.

The diagnosis of Asperger syndrome: a pilot study of Czech version ASSQ and ASAS

In a theoretical part of the present study we describe history, epidemiology, ethiology, diagnostic classification, diagnostic criteria and clinical features of Asperger syndrome, comorbidity, theory of autism, differential diagnosis and diagnostic methods for the Asperger syndrome. A practical part of this study examines the validity and reliability of two diagnostic schedule - ASSQ - High-functioning Autism Spectrum Screening Questionnaire/Asperger Syndrome Screening Questionnaire - and ASAS - Australian Scale for Asperger Syndrome. ASSQ and ASAS are checklists for a completion on by lay informants when assessing symptoms characteristic of Asperger syndrome and other high-functioning autism spectrum disorders in children and adolescents with a normal intelligence. Data for the parent and teacher ratings in the samples (sample AUT comprised 42 6- to 16-years-old children (39 boys, 3 girls) with Asperger syndrome or high-functioning autism, the sample LMD comprised 143 cases (130 boys, 13 girls) with ADHD and leaming disorders and the control group of 163 participants (147 boys, 16 girls) from mainstream schools without any formal diagnosis) are presented along with various measures of reliability and validity. Cinematic Storytelling in Comics

The aim of this work is to point out the similarity of film and comics and thus also the possibility to read some film studies (or analyse films) with an overlap into the medium of comics. The selected method consists of analysing cinematic storytelling techniques and means of expression and their further use in the comics medium. To reach that aim this work uses an image appendix which in main part consists of the first chapter of the Watchmen by Alan Moore.

Bachelor thesis "Specification of television genre docusoap and media map creation of the programmes realized in the Great Britain" focuses on docusoap, which is a television genre that belongs to wide range of genres with umbrella title reality television. First chapter introduces the programmes, that had the most important influence on genre reality television. Second chapter focuses on the docusoap genre. The last part of the paper presents realized projects of docusoap genre that aired in Great Britain.

Tax and social security systems in selected EU countries

The aim of this master thesis is the comparison of selected elements of the tax and social security systems in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Germany, which are related to employees and employers and it is counted with them in model examples, then evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of employees´ migration under the structure of posting between the Czech Republic and other countries and finally the comparison of employees´ incomes after receiving benefits from social security system of each country (especially old age pension and parental allowance). In the first part of the thesis there is explained problematics of double tax treaties and EU coordination of social security. Then there is the comparison of above mentioned elements of the tax and social security systems in each country. In the last part I apply findings on model employees and I make a conclusion from amount of their net incomes. Migration to another EU member country is the most profitable for employee who is subjected to taxation in other EU countries but he remains under the Czech social security system. In terms of social benefits, retired people are supported the most in Austria and families with children in Germany.

Title: Children's strenght development possibilities Objective: The main goal of diploma thesis is to compare level of strenght abilities between classes with children :from common population and classes with extended lessons ofphysical education Methods: Tested sample was constisted of two groups of boys both :from common classes and classes with extended lessons ofphysical education. Both groups were tested by chosen test batery. Results were analyzed by standard methods. Statistically significant differencies of motoric tests between these groups had been searched through statistics programme CNSS 6.0. As statistical method ofresults comparison was used analysis MANOVA. Results: Statistically significant differencies in all motiric tests were noted in age categories of twelve-year old, fourteen-year old and fifteen-year old boys. Statistically non-significant difference was noted in age category of thirteen-year old boys. The bachelory thesis brings the analysis of spending 6oustř time of 6oustř year old children with relation to the 6oustřednou agression and bullying, which is a topical 6ous nowadays. The goal of the thesis is to determine whether the way of spending 6oustř time, namely the fact that 6oustř year old children spend 6oust free time playing 6oustřed games or watching television programmes including 6oustřednou violence, inluences 6oust agressiveness. The thesis deals with the 6ous of spending 6oustř time of 6oustř year old children, the inluence of family on 6oustř year old children and also the development and the reasons of agression in the life of a child and bullying in its 6oustř forms and stages.
