Paramedics opinions on their competencies
KLÍMA, Dominik
The bachelor's thesis name is: Opinions of paramedics about their competencies. The focus is therefore on problematics of competencies which paramedics at present have, and also their views on possible extension. In theoretical part of the thesis an integrated rescue system, the part of which the emergency medical service also is. The history, activities and also providers of emergency medical service are outlined. Further it deals with distribution and types of rescue groups, and technical and material equipment of vehicles. Finally, competencies are mentioned which at present a paramedic has, and also specialisations in urgent medicine, through which the competencies extend. In practical part of the thesis a qualitative method of research was used. Data collection was performed with help of semi-standardized interviews with eight paramedics, who work at Medical Rescue Service of Southern Bohemia Region. A part of the research maps knowledge of competencies in the field of paramedic and to find out opinions of their prospective extension. Also cooperation with doctor on each ambulance trip is discussed. The research file was subjected to the length of practise which the respondents went through within their occupation. The research question was directed at particular prospects which paramedics would welcome compared to the current state. The aim of the thesis was to determine what the opinion of paramedics on their current competencies within their occupation is. A partial aim then was which opinions they hold on extension of their competencies. It was revealed from the obtained and processed interviews that paramedics are mostly content with their current possibilities. An extension of competencies from their point of view would concern such parts at which the least risk of threat to patient, or incidental complications during treatment in prehospital urgent care are posed. Opinions on extension of competencies leaned mainly on bigger responsibility which in case of extensions supervened.

The name of the diploma thesis is The personality preconditions of the actor and their developing. In the initial part I focus on general definition of the term personality and also on the personality of the actor. I describe everything that is necessary for the acting and everything that is typical for the specific actor personality. In other parts I focus on my acting preconditions and their developing during rehearsing and repeated performances in the school theater Disk. I try to desribe problems that I met during the work and that influenced me. The writting about my school practice is completed by theoretical knowledges in the propar field. In the next part I try to desribe how my view on the actor`s work developed during my study. In the last part I summarize and evaluate achieved results and my conclusion is that actor must learn and develop his preconditions the whole life.

The Synods in Bohemia from 1440 to 1540. Transformations of synodal praxis in Bohemia in the context of developement of synodality in the Late-medieval Europe
Zilynská, Blanka ; Šmahel, František (advisor) ; Hledíková, Zdenka (referee) ; Čornej, Petr (referee)
The dissertation thesis takes up the paper dealing with the synods of Hussite clergy in Bohemia from 1418 to 1440. This book consisted of list of sources and literature about synods held in that period, analysis of some texts and appreciation of the role of synods in the Hussite Church administration including their ideological acting. Starting from the final turning point of that paper (1440), I followed up with the research and interpretation of the topic. The Hussite synods before 1440 were divided according to the region into Prague, Tábor and common disputations (hádání), the Catholic synods are not documented. It was necessary to keep track of the activities of both official confession groups in the country in the following period. The Tábor centre could be observed only till 1444, when its activities came to an end. Nevertheless, a new independent radical group Unitas Fratrum (Unity of Brethern, Jednota bratrská) appeared during the examined period. The phenomenon of their synods is so specific, that it could be only mentioned in this paper. The paper is limited within the Prague diocese. The development in Moravia was completely different, that is why it was not implicated in the research. Despite I continue the research of a phenomenon named with the same term, the scene as well as the...

Evaluation of selective voluntary muscle control in children with spastic cerebral palsy. Impact on the severity of spasticity and gross motor function level
Opálková, Michaela ; Kolář, Pavel (advisor) ; Kobesová, Alena (referee)
Author's first name and surname: Michaela Opálková Title of the master thesis: Evaluation of selective voluntary muscle control in children with spastic cerebral palsy. Impact on the severity of spasticity and gross motor function level. Department: Department of rehabilitation and sports medicine, Charles University in Prague, 2nd Faculty of Medicine Supervisor: doc. PaedDr. Pavel Kolář, PhD. The year of presentation: 2012 Abstract: This thesis should provide comprehensive information about pathophysiological mechanisms underlying spasticity and spastic movement disorder with special attention to children with cerebral palsy. Spasticity and selective voluntary motor control assessment possibilities will be summarized. Classification systems of the gross motor functions (levels of locomotion) are also mentioned. The main objective is to elaborate selective motor control ability scale (IP) which is newly proposed in this study. The need for such instrument and its feasibility for clinical practice intend to be confirmed. The level of locomotion of 25 children with spastic cerebral palsy is compared with IP outputs, spasticity measurement outputs using Ashworth scale respectively. Keywords: spasticity, selective voluntary motor control, locomotion, scale

The implementation of social service standard in organisations for people with visual impairment
Vašíčková, Adéla ; Sýkorová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Čápová, M. (referee)
There is one topic widely discussed in the present era, Social Service Standards. These fifteen standards bring very different view on the relationship between client, newly named social service user, and the service provider at the same time. They accept, that social services have to respect the users' rights, which means a turning point in a perception of the users'. The sense of social service standards consists also with the fact, that there are important rules that have to be accepted by every provider of social service.

Current possibilities of laboratory diagnosis of staphylococcal infections
CHRTOVÁ, Lucie
Laboratory diagnostics of Staphylococccal infections is based on direct evidence, like microscopy and cultivation, eventually on molecular genetics methods. The objective of this thesis is the presentation of nowadays possibilities in laboratory diagnostics of coagulase - negative staphylococcal infections and comparsion of two methods of identification used in the routine laboratory practice. First part of the thesis presents the genus Staphylococcus and the difference between it and the genuses Micrococcus and Peptococcus. The following part of this thesis shows the distribution of genus Staphylococcus in two main groups (Staphylococcus coagulase - positive and coagulase - negative), based on the ability to coagulate plasma. The description of these two main groups contains their morphological and cultivation features, antigen structure, virulence factors, pathogenesis and laboratory diagnostics. In the methodical part the pre-analytic and analytic phase is mentioned. The focus of the pre-analytic part the general priciples of collection and transport for microbiological analysis and the collection of material itself. The methodical part was performed in the České Budějovice Hospital - Laboratory of Medical Microbiology - Department of Bacteriology. This part of the thesis presents the differentiation of staphylococci by latex agglutination (PROLEX TM STAPH LATEX KIT) and then specific identification of 52 strains of coagulase-negative staphylococci isolated from central venous catheters , hemocultures and other clinical important materials is following. The specific identification of all the 52 strains of coagulase-negative staphylococci was performed by biochemical identification by STAPHYtest 16 (ErbaLachema) and parallel by mass spectrometry MALDI-TOF (system VITEK MSTM). The correct identification reached 96,2 % by the method of mass spectrometry MALDI-TOF and 67,3 % by biochemical identification STAPHYtest 16. The most frequent species isolated was Staphylococcus epidermidis (64 %), then Staphylococcus hominis ssp. hominis (10 %), Staphylococcus capitis (6 %), Staphylococcus warneri (6 %), Staphylococcus lugdunensis (4 %), Staphylococcus haemolyticus (4 %), Staphylococcus hominis (4 %), Staphylococcus caprae (2 %). The comparsion of both named methods shows the mass spectrometry more reliable, faster and simpler method, and more suitable for routine laboratory work.

Controversial issues of self-defence in Czech case law
Houzar, Petr ; Vokoun, Rudolf (advisor) ; Bohuslav, Lukáš (referee)
The focus of the thesis is set on the controversial issues connected with a legal institute of Czech criminal law called "self-defence", and how these controversial issues were dealt with within judicial practice. The first chapter serves as an introduction to the whole topic. The second chapter describes the concept of self-defence, as well as its prerequisites. The self- defence was classed into the system of criminal law. The goal of the third chapter is to define preconditions which are necessary in connection with application of the self-defence institute. The main parts of this chapter describe firstly attacking, first of all and secondly defence. Subsections of this chapter analyse the term of attacking itself, the attacker and his characteristics, the term of harmfulness of such attacks towards society. As for the second part of the third chapter it focuses on the defence itself, its proportionality etc. The fourth chapter is about the role of judicial practice within the context of Czech legal system. This chapter serves as a relevant contribution to the main part of the thesis, which is chapter five. Chapter five introduces specific cases, especially those which were at some point controversial. The specific case is briefly described and the controversial issue is named and further...
