Efficiency of regulation of minor stationary pollution sources
Mešková, Alena ; Jílková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Vojáček, Ondřej (referee)
Local air pollution significantly affects human health. Among its major polluters are households which are, however, difficult to regulate. This essay describes the tools of regulation of small pollution resources already implemented in existing legislation and also the instruments under consideration by the Ministry of the Environment, focusing on subsidies. The questionnaire survey monitored the feedback of households towards subsidies for heating change and consequently three hypotheses were specified. The first one assumes that the subsidies will be utilized just by households with lower incomes. The second one assumes that the subsidy will be chozen by elderly people. According to the last hypothesis this choice will be preffered by households with higher heating costs. Any of the hypotheses was not rejected. Subsidies will stimulate households to use more environmentally friendly methods of heating.

"1920 AD" (An advent of the youngest generation of poets at the beginning of 1920s)
Flaišman, Jiří ; Wiendl, Jan (advisor) ; Brabec, Jiří (referee) ; Merhaut, Luboš (referee)
The work" 1920 AD" presents a literary historical analysis of poetry written by authors, who entered Czech literature shortly after the Great War. The attention is devoted in particular to the poets who were born at the turn of the century and made their literary debuts in the so called first wave, i. e. 1919-1920. The work treats their literary endeavours on the background of wider literary context, and concentrates mainly on the first creative period of this generation, the period 1919-1922/23. An emphasis is put on the analysis of particular traits of the works (such as lyric Ich, subject-matter, verse structure, metamorphoses of the poetic language etc.). The author strives to abstract from the interpretations which perceive the period exclusively as a time, when the conceptions of proletarian poetry and Avant-garde were formed. On the contrary, while interpreting the works, he attempts to see them within all the plurality and possibilities of contemporary poetry. The work discusses individual creative development of the authors who have so far remained mostly unnoticed by literary scholars (Carek, Chalupa, Jirko, Nemec, Pokorny, Suk, Stejskal, Vladyka) and considers their juvenilia and poetry published in literary journals which was not included in their collections. Furthemore, the work treats the...

The ethnolinguistic aspects of the latest religious development in Mongolia
Jiráková, Edita ; Luvsandorj, Jugder (advisor) ; Zikmundová, Veronika (referee) ; Bělka, Luboš (referee)
Since the collapse of the communist regime in Mongolia in the beginning of 1990, the country opened itself to external world in many various aspects. In this respect, the Christian missionaries became one of the most visible signs of the process of democratization. However, linguistic problems associated with the newly introduced Christian terminology started to play a decisive role soon. During the 90's of the 20th century several Mongolian Versions of New Testament were published, from which the translation made by the Mongolian Bible Translation Committee and another one by J. Gibbens' team are of the greatest importance. These versions are far from having any connection to each other , thus completely dissimilar terminology is applied in both of them. It is my intention through this thesis, to deal with the problems of disunity of the key Biblical vocabulary in the present day Mongolian language. With respect to comprehensiveness, I describe briefly the resent state or level of the spread of Christian teaching in the country, where data collected within my field research undertaken in three phases between 1997 and 2002 are used. Considering a cultural and geographical connections, the problems of Christian terminology in China are also mentioned. 1t is then possible on this basis to make an overview and...

Special regulation of the consumer bankruptcy resolution
Machek, Petr ; Zoulík, František (advisor) ; Smolík, Petr (referee)
- 76 - 11.Summary in English The thesis deals with the special regulation of personal bankruptcy in the Czech Republic introduced lately by the Act No. 182/2006 Coll., on bankruptcy and its solutions (the Insolvency Act) (hereinafter the "InsA"). The author presents a short history of the regulations of personal bankruptcy in the Czech Republic along with the problems of the former law with regard to its application on natural persons (consumers), and defines the term bankruptcy as seen from the perspective of the consumers. With this respect also the evolution of the indebtedness of consumers is briefly analysed and compared with the indebtedness in other countries coming to the conclusion that the actual state of indebtedness of consumers in the Czech Republic is not serious yet, though its acceleration might be worrying. Hence, the new regulation on personal bankruptcy was more than needed. Further on, the author presents an analysis of the special form of bankruptcy solution designed especially for consumers and introduced by the InsA - namely the "Bankruptcy Discharge" (hereinafter the "Discharge"). The Discharge offers an honest debtor a way out of his debts ("fresh start"). There are two main forms of the Discharge which is Discharge by liquidation of the bankruptcy assets and Discharge by a...

Variability of meteorological processes in stratosphere in relation to vertical ozone profile
Motl, Martin ; Kalvová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Halenka, Tomáš (referee)
There is studied an influence of dynamical processes in atmosphere on the total ozone and its vertical profile in this work. There are described known atmospherical processes with influence on ozone variability and statistical methods used in the work at first. Then is studied connection between ozone and tropopause height. There are also monitored time trends of ozone and tropopauzse height. There are computed modes of variability for the field of the geopotential in pressure levels from 500 to 10 hPa in the next part of the work and there is studied a statistical connection between computed modes and ozone. There is constructed linear regression model from time trend and computed modes. This model describes considerable part of the ozone variability and there are discussed possibilities of use some similar model for prediction of the total ozone in the resume.

The Entrance of Children to School and their Preparation for Reading
A Description of the Town of Tachov and its Use in the Civics Classroom
Implicit Pension Debt in the EU Member States
Doležal, Vítězslav ; Schneider, Ondřej (advisor) ; Votápková, Jana (referee)
The diploma thesis examines the implicit pension debt in the fifteen EU countries. The Holzmann et al. (2011) methodology is applied to show the impact of population ageing on the pension systems in the EU. The implicit pension debts demonstrate the considerable hidden debt burden in the all fifteen countries. The implicit pension debts range in the interval from 47 % of GDP for the Czech Republic to 906 % for Greece. Nine of the analyzed countries record the implicit pension debts in the interval 100 - 300 % of GDP. The sensitivity analysis and the comparison with other studies confirm our findings. The thesis points out sizeable imbalances among the particular countries, genders and age cohorts.
