The bachelor thesis outlines the causes of the dissolution of the Soviet Union and its consequences on economy of Russian Federation. Goal of this bachelor thesis is not only to review the macroeconomic indicators but also to describe changes in social conditions within the state. Also the process of the creation of new political system is not neglected. In the bachelor thesis there are also evaluated the main reasons for integration of the Russian Federation in the post soviet space.

Political Reform in Russia under the Rule of Vladimir Putin: Law on Political Parties and its Influence on Political Opposition

The thesis Political Reform in Russia under the Rule of Vladimir Putin:Law on Political Parties and its Influence on Political Opposition deals with the impact of the aforesaid law on Russia's opposition parties during Putin's presidency, i. e. in the period between enacting this law in 2001 and 2008. It focuses on then three main opposition parties, namely Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Union of Right Forces and Yabloko. It analyzes the impact of the aforesaid law on the opposition parties in the following three areas of activity: registration; financing; and participation in the political process as exemplified through the elections for the State Duma in 2003. The analysis allows us to conclude that the impact of the aforesaid law was lower than conventionally believed. That said, however, does not mean that the ruling regime would not seek to severely curtail the parties standing in opposition to President Putin. It did so using predominantly other methods, such as dirty election campaigns, targeted crackdown on the opposition's key sponsor, and administrative interference with the election process.

The master thesis Josef Capek and France closely documents Capek's two visits to Paris at the beginning of the 1910s and analyses to what degree France and its artistic milieu shaped Capek's artistic views and practice. In the first part, the author traces the origins of Capek's interest in French art during his childhood and his youth. In the second part, she expounds on his Parisian stays, emphasising especially the various exhibitions and galleries which the Czech artist could see. Finally, she evaluates the impact of Capek's Parisian experience on his cultural activities and, no less important, his painting. The main goal of the thesis is to deepen the reflection on Capek's artwork through its integration into an international context.

It includes teoretical points of quality and economic evaluation of quality in healthcare. The objective is to assess the participation of czech hospitals in healthcare quality evaluation systems.

This work evaluates the current situation in the six member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The main areas of evaluation are the ongoing reforms, the proposed monetary union and the relationship with the United States. As for the reforms, the main focus is the transition from a closed to an open market economy and the mitigation of their oil dependence. Furthermore, the following chapter deals with an analysis of the Optimum Currency Area for the GCC region. Finally, the last chapter is aimed to provide a brief insight into the US-GCC relationship and its prospects in the near future.

Relationship between law and morals in the contemporary society

ZÁVĚR Soudobou společnost charakterizuje řada jevů, které přispívají k nárůstu komplexity sociální skutečnosti. Vývoj je velice dynamický a probíhá do velké míry spontánně - není kontrolován z jednoho či několika center, nýbrž je výsledkem aktivity mnoha různých nehierarchizovaných subjektů a skupin. Jednotící obecný rámec společnosti je rozrušován a v oblasti hodnotové orientace dochází k partikularizaci. Společenská morálka se proměňuje - do pozadí ustupuje objektivní vzorec správného života, který je nahrazen akceptací různých životních stylů. Paralelně s tím se jako primární morální hodnota prosazuje princip snášenlivosti a tolerance. Nastoluje se otázka, do jaké míry je další existence společnosti tímto vývojem ohrožena, nebo-li zda je morální a hodnotový konsenzus tím, co společnost stmeluje a umožňuje tak její další pokračování. Stoupenci konzervativního názorového proudu se domnívají, že morální shoda je vitální podmínkou společenského života a vnímají právo jako efektivní nástroj k vyjádření resp. prosazení hodnot společnosti. Naproti tomu převažující liberální názorová pozice je, pokud jde o dopad morálního relativismu na společnost optimističtější a brání se obecnému stanovení omezujícího hodnotového rámce realizace svobody jednotlivce, pokud výkon individuální svobody neohrožuje svobodu jiného....

The failure of the state in Sub-Saharian Africa: the case of Somalia

The master thesis presented the failure of the state in Sub-Saharan Africa with the concern on Somalia as a case study. The objective of the master thesis was to verify proposed assumptions that examined the causes of the state failure in Sub-Saharan Africa, the impact of the state failure on the civilians and on the international security as well as the effectiveness of the humanitarian intervention to contribute greatly to the issues of preventing violence against civilians and its spread to the neighbouring countries. The main cause of the failure of the state in Sub-Saharan Africa was found to be the post-colonial governance influenced by the colonial experience, the Cold War period and guaranteed by the norms of international legal sovereignty. The master thesis confirmed that failed and collapsed states are unable to grant its inhabitants the crucial need of security and represent a threat to its inhabitants. However the experience from Somalia showed that the additional structures can appear providing security even in the collapsed state. Analýza ztráty podniku

Práce má dvě části. V první je provedena finanční analýza výkazů společnosti a v druhé jsou jednotlivé hodnoty a jejich výše podrobeny detailnější analýze, která se opírá jednak o teoretické znalosti získané během studia a jednak vychází z vlastních zkušeností a znalostí podniku. Účelem bylo, naučit se využít teoretických znalostí v praxi a zjistit, že k hodnocení podniku nestačí mít pouze finanční výkazy a že v rámci konsolidační skupiny je možné, že pro jednotlivé jednotky jsou stanoveny jako primární i jiné cíle než je maximalizace zisku. Jedna kapitola je také věnována problému pohledávek a jaký dopad mají na podnik, pokud nedojde k jejich úhradě.
