Smolíková, Miroslava ; Mocná, Dagmar (advisor) ; Brožová, Věra (referee)
The thesis called "Marysa and Anezka. Success and failure of Vilem Mrstik" deals with Marysa, a drama co-written by V. Mrstik and his brother A. Mrstik in 1894, and Anezka, a play finished by V. Mrstik in collaboration with his wife B. Mrstikova in 1912. Both dramatic works are introduced within the literary-historical context and within the personal history of the author. Ljubkova with information from correspondence between V. Mrstik and L. Stroupeznicky. It also questions the importance of V. Mrstik's inputs to the collective work and analyses premiere and critical reception of the drama, using contemporary reviews. The Anezka part follows genesis of the play with use of correspondence and manuscripts from literary archive of The Museum of Czech Literature (PNP). The genesis includes quotes of V. Mrstik defending the drama. The thesis also describes circumstances of Anezka's premiere and its disappearance from the stage and mentions the probability of guilty conscience that dramaturgist J. Kvapil might have had about V. Mrstik's suicide. Reception of Anezka is depicted with the help of contemporary...

Based on tomistic concept of religion, it characterizes pseudo-religious elements as practices of sourcing external forms from religious acts in the secular dimension, however without their intrinsic content. The paper sees their possible roots in cultural heritage, in limitations of adequate human resources for expression of the highest values and in abusing such acts as effective tools of human manipulation.
S pomocí vodítek zanechaných ve tvorbě a s pomocí určitých biografických údajů budeme sledovat postupný vývoj básnické metody a myšlenkový posun.

Discussion on exchange-rate regimes: Hayek versus Friedman
Hájek, Jan ; Potužák, Pavel (advisor) ; Slaný, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis follows up approaches of F. A. von Hayek and Milton Friedman on international monetary arrangements. Analytical part contains research of work of both authors. In Hayek's work, the theory of income chain flows is highlighted first and second, synchronization of growth of export sectors and fall of import sectors across the whole national economy during depreciation is stressed in the flexible exchange rate regime. From Friedman's work those parts are chosen which are consistent with Hayek's theory. Primarily, differences between effects of speculation demand for foreign currency are mentioned. In the synthesis of both approaches, three international monetary systems are defined (international real gold standard, pseudo-gold standard and clear floating). The aim is to choose a system, which is the best for creation of wealth, therefore the one, where prices do not lose their information value. The thesis shows that the system with international real gold standard is the most suitable. Furthermore, the hypothesis that says, that approaches of both authors are compatible, is refused. The last chapter deals with the international monetary perspective of the Czech Republic.

Juan Filloy and the novel Op Oloop: A myth, an author, a work
Kazmar, Vít ; Housková, Anna (advisor) ; Sánchez Fernández, Juan Antonio (referee)
Vít Kazmar - Juan Filloy: A myth, an author, a work The work Juan Filloy: A myth, an author, a work focuses on the neglected Argentinian writer Juan Filloy (1894 - 2000) and its aim is to serve as an introduction to his work that has received little attention so far. Its first part is dedicated to the analysis of the myth that has spread around the author and completely eclipsed his work. It consists mainly of anecdotal features of his personality and it touches his work only superficially. However, the status of an unknown writer is determined in large part by Filloy's own decision to live in a small town and publish the books himself, as well as by his demanding style, wide vocabulary and often very provocative language and themes. However, it is possible to find some key attributes of his aesthetics in the myth about the author: the palindromes mean a turning toward language as well as the strict and disciplined approach; the wide vocabulary points to the desire of precision of expression etc. The majority of the work then concentrates on the analysis of the author's language and on the interpretation of the novel Op Oloop. The language of Juan Filloy is characteristic by contrast, clarity and order. The central stylistic tool is parallelism; the structure of sentences often becomes a space for...
