Evaluation of Eduction on Basic and Secondary Schools

As of January 1st, 2006, based on the law 561/2004 Coll., the Ministry of Schools, Youth and Physical Education founded an independent institution called "Center for educational results appreciation" (abbreviated as CERMAT). The Center concentrates on solving several key issues related to the need to ensure easy to understand, comprehensive and mutually measurable educational results. Leaving aside the issue of state coordinated secondary school leaving examination, evaluation and auto-evaluation of schools stands out as equally important area of interest. This area is being worked out within the system project KVALITA I under European Social Fund (ESF). The aim of the project is to gradually develop new system for monitoring and evaluating results of primary and secondary education. The thesis deals with creation of tools (in the form of achievement tests) aimed at evaluation and auto-evaluation of educational results reached in science topics, namely in chemistry. Preparatory and submission phases were followed by didactic analysis of statistical data obtained through pilot survey using two sets of tasks (each in two modifications), namely "Chemistry basics" and "Critical reading focused on healthy diet and regime". The Fitness Strength Training Application in Physiotherapy

Name of thesis: Benefit from the use of fitness in physiotherapy Aims: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the present state of strength training in fitness centres in the Czech Republic and to deduce it's usage in physiotherapy. Methods: This diploma paper is divided to two parts. The first part is a specific retrieval of the current state of the broad issues such as strength training in fitness centres, back pain, muscular system and their impact on physiotherapy. The second part consists of suggested guidelines for physiotherapists dealing with the problematic of back pain. It includes the initial physical examination, methods of strength workouts in fitness centres and a set of exercises with hooked illustrations. Results: We compiled guidelines on the use of strength training in fitness centres in physiotherapy. Key words: fitness, strength training, back pain, human muscular system

Early intervention system

The aim of this project is to introduce a "System of early intervention" using methodology assigned by the Home Office. The System of early intervention is a process of work and communication in the area of social and legal protection of children and juvenils and fraud prevention. I am describing my reasons for the creation of this project and its general set up for the Czech Republic. The project is relevant to the problems of endangered and delinquant children and juveniles, and I am explaining the terms related to the subject in this introduction accordingly. In the next section I will target the development of fraud in the Czech Republic and I will mention some examples of foreign countries for comparison. Due to several departments being involved in the execution of this project, I am further introducing their activity in connection with the system. After introduction with the project on a general level, I will focus on concrete examples of work in the way that is being implemented in the Town district Prague 2. To comply with the title of my work, I am practically addressing the comparison of the System of early intervention in the nine towns in which the project has already been implemented. Remote services control systems

In the present work we study possibilities of network monitoring system creation. We will audit computers in networks and services running on them. System must allow adding new kinds of tests into it. So if some test is not yet implemented it should be possible to add it into the system. As a result there is a implementation of such a system (modular with coordinator) written in C languague for FreeBSD operating system. Concrete testing methods are implemented as standalone modules which comunicate with coordinator by network protocol. In the case of error location the coordinator will send information by given way to set persons. Concrete methods for sending information are also implemented as modules.

Social climate of kindergarten

The Diploma Work deals with social climat of a kindergarten. Its aim is to find out what aspects contribute to interrlelations improving. The teoretical part keeps to a specific proffesional literature, characterizes and defines terms adherent to pre-school education, specifies age differences of pre-school children, focuses on a game and social climat of a gindergarten. In the practical part there is mapped out a current social climat of a particular gindergarten by a form of an action research. The progression of social climat is monitored by means of outdoor modes and pedagogy of experiences during common astivities with parents.

Tourism as a Tool of Development and Poverty Alleviation in the Third World

The thesis tries to describe the complexity of tourism in the Third World. The topic can be only understood in context of the most recent trends of globalization, uneven economic growth and development, sustainability and issues concerning the environment. The thesis examines the tourism-poverty nexus in the form of assessing positive benefits and negative impacts of tourism on the poor residents. Special attention is devoted to new tourism forms with sustainable principles which respond to the needs of local communities and contribute to the poverty alleviation. Chosen case studies illustrate possible benefits of tourism for a particular region and its inhabitants.

Legal regulation of accounting of entrepreneurs

66 The thesis is "Legal regulations of accounting" Summary The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the legal regulations of accounting for entrepreneurs. The reason for my research is to know about the regulations of accounting, to compare the accounting regulations of Czech and foreign legal entity, to better understand the rules for an harmonization of accounting legislation and to discover the regulations of auditing. The thesis is composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of legal accounting regulations and various topics. First Chapter contains main information about the history of accounting. Chapter Two is introductory and defines the basic terminology used in the thesis and the main legal definitions for accounting. The chapter is subdivided into six parts. Part One describes what an accounting entity is and explains what legal entity should provide accounting in accordance with the legal regulation. Part Two deals with the main goal of accounting. Part Three treats of bookkeeping. In the fourth part the attention is paid to the fiscal period for legal entity. Part Five recommends the registration obligations for the financial statements. Part Six concentrates on problems resulting from the variation of the obligations for Czech and foreign legal entities for bookkeeping....

Public Private Partnership and PPP project of construction higwways in Slovakia

The Bachelor project deals with new age phenomenon in ensuring public values by Public Private Partnership (PPP). Within the first part I have summarized the most important of theoretical knowledge about PPP. At the beginning define the basic facto related to topic of PPP, specify what PPP is, outline theoretical possibilities of systematical use of PPP, and define basic characteristics, basic types of PPP, advantages and disadvantages of PPP, at the end theoretical development of PPP project. Within the next part I would like to introduce the ongoing PPP project for construction of highways and fast highways in Slovakia. I will analyse the project, mainly from the financial perspective, outline the impact on state budget during the duration of the project and compare the financing by PPP vs. PSC. In the end of my bachelor project I would like to underline success and failure of PPP projects in other foreign countries.

Business environment, negotiation habits and specific cultural differences of India based on the experience of Czech travel agency Adventura, s.r.o.

The thesis deals with an attractive economic environment of India and its market capacity. Besides, it is focused on people's mentality and specific cultural differences. Their knowledge together with cultural respect forms the ground of international trade negotiation. Basic territory characteristics are debated afterwards as well as bilateral foreign trade between India and Czech Republic. Nevertheless, the main attention is devoted to the mentality of Indian businessmen -- a questionnaire, filled out by employees of travel agency Adventura, reveals similar experience of both regular tour guides and international managers when doing business in India. Negotiation belongs to Indians body and soul, no matter how "important" the deal is.The objective of this work is to underline the importance of intercultural perception that assumes always more attention in times of swift globalization.

Prejudice and multicultural education

Concerned with prejudices and stereotypes in a society and their prevention, this master's thesis outlines the key basis and theories of stereotyping both in a psychological and a social perspective. A special emphasis is placed on Roma minority being analysed from the perspective of the majority society as well as the minority itself. The thesis focuses on introducing multicultural education, in particular the project "Czech Kid", as a means of increasing prejudice and stereotypes awareness and of modifying our behaviour. The project analysis together with the text extraxts are provided in the practical part of the thesis.
