CZECH NATURALISTIC RURAL DRAMA IN POSTMODERN PRODUCTIONS
Pokorný, Vít ; VEDRAL, Jan (advisor) ; FRANZ, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis analyses several plays of postmodern Czech naturalistic rural drama. By using comprehensive analysis and numerous examples, the work deals with the key question why traditional realistic dramas based on the mimetic principles are so attractive for the nonconformist and provocative authors, generally known as postmodernists. The work introduces the term postmodernism as a new philosophical way of seeing Euro-American civilization but also as an artistic style, which gives these thoughts an aesthetical basis in the context of Czech and also world history and culture. To get the essential knowledge of the topic, the main principles of realistic and naturalistic poetics are introduced. The work is trying to find an answer to the question ask above by analysing seven plays of postmodern Czech naturalistic rural drama. The analysis is based on experience of spectators and readers and also numerous examples from postmodern literature, film, fine art and music. The key factor of this analysis is the conflict of archetypal human essence and today often discussed absence of transpersonal order, which affects humans even against their will. The interpreted texts work with the topics of human struggle with love, faith, responsibility and compassion, which seem to be very attractive for the postmodern artists. These kinds of texts can give us an evidence of the epoch we live in. Whether the personal freedom ruined human faith in some greater sense or the sexual revolution actually buried the metaphysical essence of love. As an author, I came to the conclusion, that discussed plays demonstrates a postmodern human as a schizophrenic being, denying under the influence of general moral status existence of universally valid order, in spite of seeking this order in its soul desperately. Introducing my own concept of “the great second”, I try to defend my conviction, that in this exhausting struggle, the art can be for human desired, purifying and fulfilling power

Šutová, Martina ; Šlosarčík, Ivo (advisor) ; Dubský, Zbyněk (referee)
Development cooperation is nowadays a highly discussed topic, especially in the context of its effectiveness. In the past years the European Union and the Organization for economic cooperation and development adopted several documents concerning aid effectiveness and possible ways of its improvement. The aim of this thesis is to find out, in the case of selected states (France, Sweden, and the Czech Republic), if they implement the commitments resulting from these documents into their national development policies and if they carry out their development cooperation in compliance with them. Since the commitments in this area overlap between the two organizations and both of them are trying to influence the states to fulfill their commitments, this thesis will also try to identify which of these organizations has a greater influence on the chosen states. Keywords EU development policy, Council Conclusions, Member States, OECD, aid effectiveness, financial commitments

Woman in Israel and in the Neighbouring Countries
Kryczka, Katarzyna ; Hřebík, Josef (advisor) ; Brož, Jaroslav (referee)
Anglická anotace The focus of my baccalaureate thesis is an issue of marriage and family in Israel in the times described in the Old Testament. The role of a woman-mother was very special in that era. My work includes also descriptions of roles for women from the neighboring countries. In my opinion, women fulfill a very special and irreplaceable role in every culture throughout the centuries. Mature woman through her love and honesty creates a home filled with warmth and safety. In our times false feminism proclaims that women have the same rights as men, but robes them from their femininity and motherhood. I would like to point out that even though women in the Old Testament were assigned the second place they were happy, interested in life and had respect among the members of society. Therefore, I would like to present women form different groups of society starting with the slaves and ending with the queen. The interest in their religious practices, approach to raising a family and teaching the children will be a focus of my presentation.

Drechselová, Pavlína ; Koťa, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pelikán, Jiří (advisor)
In the following academic paper I discuss the issue of freedom, which constitutes a key issue in a person's life in the modern society. Due to this reason, the issue of freedom is dealt with in a more comprehensive manner. The chapter The Relation between Well-being and Freedom is a topic, which deals with the causes, which led to freedom becoming something, which is taken for granted and perceived as a universal human characteristic in the present world. It relates to the task one is confronted with. To be a person, who lives one's own decisions and assumes responsibility for them. The next chapter is titled Personality as a Task. The issues discussed in this chapter indicate that a person's task in a society, which ensures legitimate individual freedom, is to build one's own personality and self-fulfilment. At the same time, it identifies the phenomena that hinder this process as well as those, which should become the means of personality upbringing. The chapter The Issue of Freedom discusses the definition of the term freedom and its possible conception in terms of science and personality. Positively defined freedom offers possible solutions of its inclusion in upbringing. The chapter The Role of Freedom in Upbringing relates to quantitative goals of education and is conceived as follows: theory of...

State-Owned Enterprise
Hokr, Tomáš ; Horáček, Vít (advisor) ; Plíva, Stanislav (referee)
The primary focus of this thesis is a state-owned enterprise, its basic characteristics, the State-Owned Enterprise Act as its principal source of legislation and its status given by some other laws. The state-owned enterprise is a state organization and a specific organizational legal form of business through which the state carries out management of its property, carries on a business and thereby fulfills the purpose for which state-owned enterprise was founded. Specificity is manifested mainly by its property itself, the relationship to that property, the way of establishment and by performance of quasi-shareholders' rights. The main attribute of state-owned enterprises and state organizations in general is incapacity of possession of property rights. Inability of ownership does not only contrast with the ability to bind, but also raises questions concerning the legal personality. The relationship to the property has been expressed by rather vague "right to manage", which has not been used yet. The state-owned enterprise is regulated mainly by the State-Owned Enterprise Act. This regulation, though very brief in scope, has the ambition to be comprehensive legislation for state-owned enterprises. Nevertheless it is not sufficient for the treatment of all possible legal relations arising from the...
