Ukrainian Labour Migration to the Czech Republic

The topic of the thesis is a labour migration from the Ukraine to the Czech Republic. The author is interested in legal and illegal ways of stay and working of Ukrainian labour migrants in the Czech Republic. One of the crucial research questions is: Is it easier and more profitable for people to work legally or illegally in the Czech Republic? Another important issue is represented by question: Why people take advantage of illegal techniques to fulfil their intentions? What kind of problems do they have? The paper is focused on problems concerning acquirement of visa, labour permission, health insurance and other documents necessary for the legal stay and labour in the Czech Republic. Migrants can make use of services of socalled clients in such cases. The clients manage to obtain documents, work, accommodation and so on. However, some services of the clients can be illegal and sometimes part of the clients can be connected with the organized crime (maffia). Such dishonest clients exploit migrants and steal money from them. Last but not least, the thesis deals with the history of the migration from the Ukraine to the Czech Republic in the twentieth century, the demographic data and the migration trends.

Project education as an inovative educational metod of the first grade of elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with the project education and with the project method. The theoretic part of the thesis introduces fundamental information referring to the project education, describes the project method, familiarises with the représentants of this method and with the project types and their fulfilment in education. The research part, lead by the method of action investigation, catches the attitude of the teacher's imagination about the idea of the project education - project, what kind of project teachers use most commonly and what advantages and disadvantages has the said project education from the point of view as a teacher. The questionnaire survey follows preferences and favours of the method from the point of view as a pupil and which type of project and in which subject has a pupil met frequently. The author of the thesis presents her own project, in which she verifies the characteristic features of the project method and compares the theory with her own practical experience. Nominal and real convergence between the Czech Republic and the euro area

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discuss how well the Czech economy is prepared to enter the eurozone. It first briefly describes the conception and development of the European Economic and Monetary Union, the Maastricht criteria and the economic convergence criteria. It further considers the potential advantages and disadvantages offered to the Czech Republic from EMU membership, and then judges the Czech Republic's fulfilment of the Maastricht criteria. The last chapter focuses on the current economic convergence between the Czech Republic and the euro area. Finally the work evaluates the position of the Czech economy and concludes that in the short term the Czech Republic is not ready to adopt the Euro.

From Slovak crown to euro

This bachelor thesis focuses on Slovak republic joining the European economic and monetary union and on the process of the adoption of the common currency, the Euro in Slovakia. First chapter concerns with the historic development of the economic and monetary union and important steps leading to its creation. Second chapter deals with Maastricht convergent criteria and their fulfilling by Slovak republic. The last chapter focuses on advantages and disadvantages of accepting the common currency and on its possible impacts on Slovak economy. The end of this chapter deals with feelings of Slovak population of adoption of the Euro in Slovakia.

Analysis of the readiness of acceptance and strategy of entry of the Czech Republic to the euro area

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate readiness of the Czech Republic to adopt the common European currency, the Euro. I will concentrate on the economic situation of the Czech Republic especially on the nominal values and the real convergence that are the main indicators of the accession to the euro zone. In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I will analyze particular attitudes and the phases of the economic and political integration with the concentration on the nominal and real convergence kriteria. Practical part is focused on the current strategy of the accession of the Czech Republic to the euro zone, analysis of the fulfilling of Maastricht convergence criteria by the Czech Republic and on the level of the harmonization between the Czech Republic and the euro zone by the comparison of the real parameters. In the end of the bachelor thesis, there is an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the access to the euro zone. I will tempt to propose the reference year which will be adequate for the adoption of the euro in the Czech Republic.

Common european framework of reference for languages and its application in teaching German as a foreign language in Czech conditions

The airn of this diplorna thesis is to analyze the Common European Framework oJ ReJerence Jor Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assesment (CEF) and its irnportant by-product, the European Language Portfolio (ELP). Also the current situation of foreign language teaching in the Czech Republic after the release of the abovernentioned docurnents will be dealt with. The scope ofthis thesis will be focused rnainly ofGerrnan as a foreign language and its position arnong other foreign languages taught in the Czech Republic. An analysis of chosen German language textbooks used in current language education is included. The analysis is focused on the textbooks' fulfilling the criteria of current European language policy. The explorative study included in this thesis focuses on the language teachers' awareness of the issue of CEF and ELP and their opinions on advantages and disadvantages ofthe two docurnents concerned. Using the outcorne ofthe study, we try to articulate our own suggestions on improving the CEF.

Mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method

This thesis is dedicated to mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method and as a possibility to prevent long lasting court disputes which occur more than necessary. The aim of this thesis is to point out the advantages of mediation and the possibilities of its wider implementation in Czech Republic, while comparing with the Australian system, where mediation is widely used. The thesis is separated into six parts. The first part is focused on a brief introduction of some ADR methods, in particular renegotiation, mediation, pre-arbitration settlement methods, arbitration and hybrid ADR methods. Furthermore, this part focuses on the history of mediation around the world and in the Czech Republic. The end of the first part focuses on a detail analysis of various forms of mediation based on several criteria of division. The second part compares mediation to court proceedings from three different points of view. These are the ability of each method to fulfil the aims and needs of the parties, the aspects of the dispute and of the parties which affect the suitability of each method and lastly the ability of each method to eliminate the barriers to an effective resolution of the dispute. Legal and Taxations Aspects of the Job Creation in the Enterprise - Comparison of the Czech Republic and England

The key purpose of this Bachelor’s thesis is to analyze current situation which is connected with legal and some taxations aspects of job creation in the enterprise in the context of Czech and English legal environment. A notion of „job creation“ is limited only to recruitment, selection and taking up of employees with contract of employment. Moreover there are some partial aims that are followed. The first partial aim is an identification of some problems that are connected with following the legal rules, which can be met by the management during job creation in both countries. The second partial aim is, according to author’s opinion, to present suggestions, how the problems should be solved by the management of the enterprise. The part of this aim is an evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of suggestions presented. The third partial aim is to compare taxation charge of the employment income in the Czech Republic and in England. The result of that should be a determination of the taxation environment that is more optimal for tax deduction from employment income. The aims and purpose of this thesis is worked out on the background of theoretic foundations, that are important for understanding of the wider context of the thesis issue. The theoretic foundations are a conception and a signification of human resources; basic theoretic connections of employment law in the context of Czech and English legal code; and remuneration as a factor of tax costs for human resources in the enterprise. The core points of this thesis, by which the aims were fulfilled whether fully or partly, are summarized in the conclusion. There are mentioned also some problems, that arose during the work on this thesis, and their impact on the fulfillment of the aims.

Analysis of the Profile of the University of Economics Students Graduating in Accounting and Corporate Financial Management in Relation to the Employability on the Labour Market

This thesis primarily focuses on employability of graduate of University of Economics in Prague with Accounting and Corporate Financial management field of study on the labor market. The first part presents theoretical background, especially basic information about the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and the above-mentioned field of study. Furthermore, publicly available research regarding employability of graduates are described. The practical part is divided into two main pillars. The first one is the study which consists of two surveys oriented on potential employers and students/graduates. Its main goal is to analyze and typify current situation on the economic labor market. The second part, as well as one of the main aims of this thesis, designs new and practically oriented subject that fulfills basic requirements of curriculum of University of Economics in Prague with respect to the surveys.

Monetary policy of CNB and comparison with monetary policy of NBS

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to find out if the admission of euro in the period of crisis was advantageous for Slovakia on the basis of comparison of the czech and the slovak economy. The first part gives a brief overview of the monetary development of Czech and Slovak National Bank from their creation till present. The last part deals with nominal convergence criteria and their fulfilling by Czech republic and Slovak republic and there is also briefly outlined perspective of euro's admission by Czech republic.
