Comparing GUI Implementation in Different Libraries in OS Linux

This thesis presents the elemental properties and principles in graphical user interface. It then shows how one can work with a graphical user interface on GNU/Linux operating system and gives some examples of toolkits used for this purpose. The next part shows the design of an aplication based on an existing anti-virus program. The last part shows the dierences between the two implementations of the designed application.

There are specified requirements for a system for SAM (Software Asset Management) and also the design of the system. It deals with the description of the system implementation with the chosen implementation environment, followed with testing of this system and evaluation of results.

This thesis examines the current state of the market for online Flash games. It analyzes the market trends for the last three years and compares the largest advertising systems. There is description of the licensing ways and information how portals sell the games. Result of this work is to create a marketing mix that will determine the correct product with which it is appropriate to enter the market.
Selected legal questions concerning artwork

This diploma thesis deals with selected legal questions regarding artwork in Czech Republic. Author focuses on artwork from copyright and civil legal perspective, specifically author´s rights and copyright and its legal protection (civil, administrative and criminal). It also addresses questions concerning licenses and licensing agreements, relation between artwork and its material object, buying and selling artwork, purchase agreement and other types of contract that artists usually encounter. The aim of this thesis is to identify the current state of legislation in this matter and issues that need to be addressed. Among other methods, author used a comparative method and a research in a form of survey in this thesis.
Liberalization of the market versus network industry in state hands for example of postal service market and the Czech Post, state enterprise

Bachelor thesis is dealing with the liberalization of the postal service market in the Czech Republic. Thesis analyzes the selected issue in the practical part on the example of the Czech Post, state enterprise. It clarifies the areas and terms closely linked with the issue. Thesis also defines monopoly features and specifies the network industry. It deals with the privatization process, defines the essential features of the state-owned enterprise and other main business corporations. Text explains the theory of public choice and its related problems. It also focuses on postal license which commits to provide universal service. The aim of the thesis is to create a comprehensive overview of past and current state of the postal market. Another objective is to analyze Czech Post enterprise particularly its economic activity and legal form. It turns out that the Czech Post is not now as lossy as it appears in public. We can predict decreasing trend in the evolution of revenues in the future with the help of related graph. Thesis objectives are met by composing the general development of the legislative and institutional changes. We can compare the legal forms of institutions and the extent of branch networks in each country with the help of a comparative analysis of European postal institutions. The Czech Republic does well - it is below the average. This allows to set conclusions and recommendations for our market. We mainly used issues of Post Partner project to examine the future development of the Czech Post.
Law in the area of multimedia

This thesis, dealing with law in the area of multimedia, is divided into four parts. In the first part, the reader will become acquainted with the legal rules applicable to the area of multimedia, which form the basis for this thesis. The second part deals with the copyright law of the Czech Republic and its application to the creation of multimedia work. This part is based on the Copyright Act No. 121/2000 Coll., and connects this Act with the practical situations and is derived from personal experience and analytical research. The third part describes the creation cycle for multimedia work and introduces the potential legal issues arising. This part is notionally divided into parts, which reflect production phases of the work process. The final part is about our bachelor's project, an example of a practical application of the knowledge set out in the previous parts.
Analysis of trends in information systems from the perspective of the application of new technologies with a focus on open source

The theme of this thesis is to analyze current technological trends with a focus on open source software in terms of relevance and importance for enterprises. The main objective is to evaluate the current status of open source software for Czech enterprises and characterize the progress based on data from 2010 and 2015. The thesis describes the basic forms of software used by companies which are further categorized based on the functionality and usability. The specifics of open source software and its licenses are defined. Subsequently the selection of specific open source licenses, generally perceived views on their use and the status of open source software in various stages of its existence are described. Analytical part describes the results of the author's survey in Czech enterprises in terms of open source software application for 2015. The results are compared with data from 2010 and appropriate conclusions are defined. Finally, the hypotheses are connected with the results of the author's survey, data comparison, available open source methodologies and other sources for an overall assessment of the situation in the Czech Republic.
Exaction of commitments in the field of copyright law

This Diploma thesis focuses on copyright law and mainly on the individual legal institutions, licenses and agreements, under which the contractual relationship between the author and the licensee if formulated. In the conclusion, the linking with another branch of law, the execution of a decision, proposes a solution for the author of a work defined by the Copyright Act, regarding the recovery of their claims from a licensee, in case they are not compensated accordingly for providing a license to their work. The aim of this thesis is to process and explain these legal issues in such a way, which will enable even an inexperienced reader to understand the sometimes complex legal texts.
Legal aspects of organizing music events

The thesis entitled "Legal aspects of organizing music events" deals with musical performances from the perspective of organizers, performers, but also the wider public. The aim is to identify the legal issues that must be seen to by the organizer of musical performances and to evaluate the operation and use of the services of collective rights management societies and to evaluate the impact of copyright infringement and attitude of the society to its violation. The introductory chapter provides an overview of the legislation and discusses copyright and certain organizations that work in this field. The second chapter describes the activities of collective rights management companies. Equally important is the third chapter, which deals with license agreements and the different types of licenses. The final chapter applies the theoretical knowledge gained from previous chapters into practice.
