The role of pet - dog in preadoslescent child's life

TITLE: The role of pet - dog in preadolescent child's life SUMMARY: This thesis is focused on the relationship between a school-aged child and a dog in his or her family. The theoretical part presents actual findings in history and form of man-dog and child- dog relationship, about breeding the pet-dogs in families and about their potential impact on man and namely on child. In the empirical part the author describes the process and the outcomes of her research in the area of child-dog relationship. Based upon semi-structured interviews with children attending the primary school third class and their drawings analysis, the author aims to clarify children's own perception of their relationships with dogs as well as the role of the dogs in their families. Cartographical Assessment of regional geography teaching

The goal of this thesis is to analyse the role of the teacher in teaching regional geography at school using cartographic tools - mental and teaching maps. Suitable class of elementary school was chosen at first and then the research was taken. The pupils had to draw their mental maps of chosen continent and complete the questionnaire. That served as a source of possible data influence or distortion in drawen maps. Then the mental and teaching maps were compared and was evaluated the role of the teacher. The important part of this thesis is the discussion of reached results.

Flexible forms of employment

The thesis deals with flexible forms of employment which are used in practice most. First it puts the concept of flexibilisation into context. The thesis defines the basic concepts and classification in connection with flexibility. Then it explains steps which led to the development of flexibility in the Czech Republic. The thesis has two main aims. The first aim is to evaluate the functioning of chosen flexible forms of employment in practice and to reveal their strengths and weaknesses by way of examples from practice. The second aim of the thesis lies in judging the impact of flexibilisation on individual classes of society and in drawing conclusion whether the flexibilisation is a positive or negative phenomenon for given groups in society.

Art therapy focused on the blind people

The goals of my work, "Art therapy focused on the blind people," i.e. blind people can draw, they are interested in drawing and the therapy improves their psyche. Two-year research with blind girl Iva was focused on the learning and improving of her ability to draw. I added the interviews with blind artists, their opinions to the art therapy and art classes.

Development of pupils' key competences in context of cultural heritage

Knowleges of the national history and geography places where we live belong the important education sphere particularly called "Man and it's World." The aim of my thesis was the proposition suitable methods and showing them in the project related Nová Říše national history and geography knowleges. The methods I studied in class four - at ten years old pupils. I suppose the results of my theses will be able to be the base for drawing up strategies the basic school in this sphere. I think the project will influence young pupils and stir up their feelings of the existence in relation to the surrounding environment - to its nature, culture and society.

Education with help of ICT tools

This thesis deals with the usage of ICT tools in education. It aims to find out which tools are used in modern teaching methods and what are the demands for teachers and students. In the first part is general description of ICT, which is used in education in both terms of hardware and software. The second part describes the precise implementation of these ICT tools in teaching at two schools that were observed. Both schools are using mobile touch devices during classes, however both schools are using different classroom format. The differences between these formats are explained further in the thesis and the use of ICT tools at both schools is explained with the help of practical examples. The work also deals with the issue of funding, especially from EU funds, from which one of the observed schools draws finances.

Children`s Drawing in Diagnostic of Nursery

Bachelor works with children specialised in drawing art in kindergarten. The viewers get know how children{\crq}s art develops, specially drawing human sculpture.with their contents, psychological and teaching access in to the inerpretation of the childrens drawing and induvidiul access to the education in the area childrens drawings. It persuits and compares 38 children drawings of the developping area. Ten children from two classrooms with different educational programs drew two houses and two men in the period of four months. It compars not only individulality of each child but possible difference between the children from regullar day care and the special day care- class of waldorf.

Potentialities of adolescents' social skills development at secondary schools

The dissertation thesis presents results of a several-year research project which focused on potential development of adolescents' social skills at secondary schools. The first chapters summarize various concepts, knowledge and theories connected with our topic. The emphasis is put on socialization in adolescence which is an ontogenetic aspect of maturation which points to the dissertation's main theme. The thesis also introduces social skills and emphasizes their necessary development at secondary schools in terms of complex sociocognitive development. Social skills are also tightly connected with academic success and their development also prevents risk behaviour. Social skills development is further considered in connection with teachers who belong among crucial sources of social support and development in adolescence. Another important social group at school environment involves peers who form school classes and affect each other in the course of the whole educational process. Finally, the social skills are introduced in connection with academic success, i.e. motivation toward school work, and academic efficacy. Both these characteristics of the educational process depend on social skills and simultaneously affect academic results. Last chapters of the theoretical part draw attention to different forms...

Teaching about family at primary school

My dissertation deals with educational area Humans and their world in the first grade of primary school, specifically the family. The theoretical part contains definition of the term family, its function, models, historical development and also analysis of certain textbooks - how the family topic is processed. In practical part I draw from theoretical pieces of knowledge and I monitor in detail the process of three lessons, within specific class taught by specific teacher, using the case study method. The interview with the teacher and the author of the textbook is also important. At the end of my dissertation I compare the textbook authors' and teacher's conception of this educational area and provide several pieces of advice to improve the lessons.

Design of highway bridge

The subject of this bachelo r’s thesis is the design a new supporting bridge construction in Prešovský kraj, district Levoča the territory of Slovak Republic. This object is located on the highway D 26,5/120, at kilometer 13,499 795 and communication of third class – 131-00 bridges. The objective is the design of a perpendicular four-span construction, which is proposed in three variants. The first variant is a chamber girder with inclined walls from post-tensioned concrete height 2,480 m. The second variant is composed of two beamed cross-section and the third variant is composed of one beamed cross-section. For detailed assessment the first variant was chosen with a length of bridging of 166,000 m. The calculation of load effects is done by software Scia Engineer and compared with a manual calculation according to current standards. This bridge is designed according to limit states, construction´s influence on design is taking into consideration. Structural analysis, well arranged drawings and visualization are elaborated in this thesis too.
