Recommendations as everyday practice of each of us

This thesis deals with recommendation as the omnipresent phenomenon, especially its mechanism of functioning. Recommendation is a common part of communication of each of us. It contains a conversation on any topic with friends or acquaintances that have certain experience with given topic and on the ground of this experience they intentionally provide negative or positive reference for the product, service or event discussed. It is not rare that the essence of recommendation is used for marketing and commercial purposes as for example various advertisements, websites or specific mobile applications. Recommendation is a specific form of social communication and we can look at it from more points of view. It is usual to divide communication situation using traditional models to participants, content, form, intentions and effects. These general findings are in this thesis connected with particular parts of life as entertainment, services, basic things and products of daily consumption, extra products and social relationships. As emerged from the analysis of the interviews, key concept of recommendation mechanism is trust. It plays an important role in all parts of recommendation structure. Finally, the results from the analysis are compared with findings from expert literature and previous researches.
Faults affecting the success of nursery schools management

The thesis concerns itself with the identification of common faults in school management with special focus on nursery schools. It compares the findings from literature with personal experience of selected nursery school headmasters. Its main objectives are to define the areas of high risk potential for mistake genesis and to find appropriate recommendations as to how to approach these faults. General perception of the found risk factors, and ways to approach them was subsequently verified in a survey. Lessons drawn from the faults should be perceived positively as a way to success and development. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In practical part six interviews with nursery school headmasters were carried out and more than one hundred and twenty statements in the form of a questionnaire were obtained. A summarizing result of both parts of the thesis is a set of advice for beginner headmasters.
Assessment of Management Techniques

The purpose of this thesis is an analysis of the use of management techniques and resultant recommendations for better application of selected techniques. Management techniques consist of a wide range of managerial activities, this thesis is focused on ten of them. These techniques are general and universal. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on characterisation of selected techniques. In practical part selected managers and their application of these techniques at their work are analysed. The analysis is based on individual interviews. The purpose of presented analysis was to find shortcomings of techniques and to calculate these mistakes financially. If a manager does not use correct technique during his own activity, costs related to the task are often bigger and results are more expensive than they have to be. Result is general mistakes and recommendation for better application of selected techniques.
Business of Czech companies in the China

This master thesis is focused on business environment in China from the perspective of Czech companies. The theoretical part represents basic informations that are good to know for every entrepreneur who is thinking about exporting to China. First, it introduces chinese economic situation from historical and contemporary perspective and its cooperation with the Czech Republic. Subsequently there is a describtion of industries, which still bring opportunities for Czech companies. At the end this part maps the participation of Czech companies in the Chinese market.The second part of the theory focuses on describing the opportunities to enter the Chinese market and also on how to deal with Chinese enterpreneurs. From European perspective is Chinese market still very different and it could lead to misunderstandings and business problems. Practical part of the work is to focus on a few Czech companies to describe their experience with the Chinese market and highlight the advice for other companies. Final part includes selected recommendations for enterpreneurs, which are based on interviews and questionnaires of Czech export managers dealing with China.
Analysis of the course and the possibility of accounting data in selected accounting software

The thesis deals with a comparison of two accounting software in a chosen company. The company used to use an accounting software Abra from its beginning, but in 2015 they bought an accounting software Pohoda. The company had mostly negative experience with software Abra. As for software Pohoda, no disadvantage has been found, though not all functions have been used yet. The aim of the thesis is to assess whether the enterprise should keep using software Pohoda or whether it should come back to software Abra. This suggestion is based on an analysis of both accounting software. The accounting software are compared through bookkeeping of the company. The practical part describes the process of accounting of this model example in each of these software. Then the advantages and disadvantages are evaluated. A scoring table, which assesses the quality of important criteria, is used for the final assessment of the better quality of the software. The criteria for this method are the complexity of inputting data, the update, the continuity of accounting events in each agenda, the printing sets, the maintenance and security of data, the closing date, the taxes and the price. On the basis of this table, software Pohoda was evaluated as the "winner". Therefore, it can be recommended to the company to keep using the accounting software Pohoda. As there were not found any essential disadvantages, the enterprise does not have to consider changing the accounting software.

I have examined my Bachelor's thesis for the company Trade Fairs Brno. It is a world famous company, which deals primarily with the organization of exhibitions, fairs and other ancillary services. I have assessed the financial health and I have suggested possible ways to improve the status quo.

This paper describes personalization of web applications and options of usage for scientific web portals. Theoretical part introduces main personalization principles and methods. Practical part of this paper focuses on resulting application. The application provides personalized services based on created user profile such as personalized search, content recommendation and conference planner.
Indoor Air Quality Assessment

The thesis inform the reader about the agents that affect the indoor air quality, especially those related to thermal comfort. It also draws attention to discomfort caused by some of the agents. There are introduced basic methods and measurement procedures of quantities necessary to evaluate the thermal comfort. The thesis is not a direct manual to the measurement of the mentioned quantities but it guides the reader to the most suitable measuring instrument according to the measurement objective and range. Further it provides a review of standards and public notices related to this theme.
