Station building in Vsetín
Mičola, Jan ; Pilgr,, Milan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the steel structures in building industry. The aim of this paper is to propose and statically evaluate the load-bearing steel structure of railway station in Vsetín. After solving the construction load by the roof cladding and external cladding, it follows by an assessment of individual elements of construction, including an assessment of their joints. From a static perspective, the roof structure consists of two diagonal arches which are joined into each other in the top and two longitudinals frames. The entire structure is designed with an emphasis on freedom of internal layout independent of the load-bearing structure.

Optimalizace metod hormonální indukce ovulace u hospodářsky významných druhů ryb
ŠVINGER, Viktor William
Extensive asynchrony of sexual maturation is characteristic of salmonid females, and, for various reasons, the spawning season can be extended for 4 months, although it generally extends over a 3 week to 2 month period, as in brook trout and northern whitefish. In aquaculture, to ensure high fertilization and egg survival rates, it is recommended that identification of ovulating females be undertaken at least twice weekly. This is time-consuming when keeping large numbers of broodstock with an extended spawning season, and risk of stress damage to fish increases. Ensuring sufficient Arctic grayling broodstock relies on capture of wild animals from natural waters before onset of the spawning season. Capture and long-term holding of wild stocks is associated with high pre-spawning mortality. Due to the high ovulation synchronizing effect, GnRHa is practical for induction of ovulation 1?1.5 months prior to the natural spawning season. This work focused on optimization of methods of hormone-controlled reproduction using GnRHa in brook trout, northern whitefish, and Arctic grayling from Siberia. Because this is the first report of use of GnRHa in these species, emphasis was on optimization of the hormone dose and delivery method along with assessment of effects of GnRHa treatment on postspawning broodstock mortality, egg size, and egg viability. As in other salmonids, GnRHa treatment effectively synchronizes the onset of ovulation in brook trout and northern whitefish. This gives accurate information about ovulatory status of the broodstock and enables planning of the stripping schedule. The most convenient methods were the double acute injection at 25 ?g.kg-1 ?-Arg6,Pro9-NHEt-sGnRHa administered 3 days apart and injection of 25 ?g.kg-1 of emulsified ?-Arg6,Pro9-NHEt-sGnRHa in Freund´s incomplete adjuvant, which prolongs and more effectively stimulates LH secretion and requires only a single injection. Double acute injection at 10 ?g.kg-1 of ?-Tle6,Pro9-NHEt-mGnRHa (Supergestran) was sufficient to induce ovulation in Arctic grayling 1?1.5 months prior to natural spawning, and enabled accelerated stripping and return of wild broodstock to their natural habitat. Single acute injection proved to be ineffective or unreliable in most cases and therefore cannot be recommended. No negative effect of GnRHa or GnRHa-FIA treatments on post-spawning mortality of broodstock was observed. It has to be noted that that to the extent of law Nr. 166/1999 statute book (Czech veterinary law)injective procedures can be carried out just by the veterinarian or by a verinarian-authorized person in veterinarian presence. GnRHa treatment has side-effects and alters egg quality. Apart from in brook trout, egg survival was significantly lower (5?20%) in treated females. Increased hormone dose did not influence egg survival at the levels tested. Egg and hatchling size was lower in treated females compared to untreated specimens irrespective of dose or hormone delivery method. Reduced egg size is, however, not the likely source of reduced viability. In general, our results corroborate results of studies dealing with assessment of effects of hormone treatment on egg quality. Based on current experimental designs it is impossible to identify the cause of the side-effects with certainty. Solving this problem should be priority for future research.

Optimizing the production process chamber 80C
List, Jaroslav ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to suggest optimisations of the production process of chamber 80C at various stages of production and assess their applicability. The main emphasis is on reducing production costs. In the first chapter we analyze specifications and requirments of the customer. There is a suggested optimisation of procedures. In the theoretical part of thesis we analyze materiál, welding methods and production technologies used to manufacture parts of the working chamber. In the practical part we assess the applicability of possible methods of welding and cutting. We will choose parts of the weldment suitable for optimization and dedicate the optimisation suggested in the first chapter. In the conclusion we assess the optimisation suggestions from the economic point of view.

Inter-company comparison within the frame of district heating segment
Pechek, Václav ; Krause, Josef (advisor) ; Návara, Václav (referee)
The isolated evaluation of companies is not sufficient to analyze economic performance of particular enterprises. The performance of the company has to be assessed in relation to the relevant segment and to other companies. The importance of inter-company comparison based on financial analysis is enlarged by the need to increase efficiency and to maintain competitiveness. The aim of this thesis is to identify the determinants of performance of companies, which operate in the district heating segment. The aim is achieved by application of different methods of inter-company comparison. The particular emphasis is placed on the type of used fuel (the most significant cost for district heating companies). Appropriate indicators for evaluation of the economic performance are selected from a wide range of financial analysis indicators. The selection is subject to interests of the parent company.

Financial collateral
Čabart, Filip ; Čech, Petr (advisor) ; Plíva, Stanislav (referee)
- 75 - PŘÍLOHA 4 RESUMÉ A SEZNAM KLÍČOVÝCH SLOV Financial Collateral Arrangements Following the rapid expansion of financial markets in the past decade, in particular in the trading of credit derivatives and related instruments used to downgrade credit risk, the necessity for a harmonized legal framework throughout Europe became eminent to ensure the operability and functioning to the Joint market of financial services, especially with regard to cross border transactions. The European Commission addressed this need by the proposal, and later adoption, of the Directive on Financial Collateral Arrangements, which as a part of the Action Plan on Financial Services requires member states to adopt into their national legislation, provisions regulating the minimum standards of such arrangement. The regulation adopts the approach of minimal formalism, with regard to the creation and enforcement of such secured arrangements and with emphasis on the collectability of the secured claims and general strengthening of the position of the creditor - the collateral taker. This also includes the protection of such arrangements from national insolvency proceedings. Even though the Czech Republic, like vast majority of the member states, adopted the Directive quite diligently, it failed to enforce some crucial matters...

Olympic Games in Prague. Multicriterial feasibility assessment of three variants for the location of the central olympic park.
Chvojka, Martin ; Rynda, Ivan (advisor) ; Zdražil, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis concerns the intention to stage the Olympic Games in Prague in the year 2016 or 2020. The theoretical part deals with proposed variants for location of the central Olympic park and their evaluation. The empirical part judges - with the help of a multicriterial analysis - three variants for the location of the central Olympic park. The analysis takes account of the most complex criteria, with an emphasis on protecting the environment in the given locality. There is a discussion of methods used and the selection of criteria for location of the park. The resulting evaluation of variants is compared and discussed with the decision of Prague City Hall on the selection of a locality in Letnany.
