The design respects aesthetic, ergonomic and technical requirements. The electric wheelchair would go over the usual obstacles, would be solution of long sitting problems and also have an interesting and modern feel.
Safety and hygiene of work in the construction industry

This master thesis deals with a structural design of the modular roller conveyor which is part of the flexible assembly line of automotive seats. The work includes design and functional solution for a driven roller track. Present structural design of roller conveyors is summarized in the first part of the work.

This dissertation Barrier-free Work Environment examines and emphasizes some elements, which are projected and will be projected even more into architectural production – architect’s work. Buildings designed specially to create a working environment accessible for disabled people are of a current interest and they will become a very prominent subject of social development in the future, because it will be necessary to react sensitively to the disproportions in human abilities and in the society’s capability to create new workplaces, implement progressive technologies, computer systems, and last but not least, to react to new possibilities of people’s creative invention. This thesis is based on the key definitions for this topic – the terms health and handicap. It is aimed at the ethics of communication in a society and its perception by a person with some kind of disability – handicap. This thesis also analyzes the limits of human possibilities in the context of contemporary and future progressive technologies. The topic of accessible workplaces necessarily derives from the historical development of workplaces, and it indicates the future trends of development. An important part of this thesis is concerned with the conditions for creating a friendly working environment, not only from the aspect of the construction itself, but mainly by the interior design, its flexible furniture, and special work tools not only for the handicapped. This dissertation and its contribution to the scholarly research are based on evaluation of an opinion survey, whose respondents were companies employing handicapped people. The analysis and consequent synthesis of the answers given by the employers of the disadvantaged people brought pieces of information, which are summarized in conclusions and recommendations.
Anthropometric research of the adult population and its applications in interiors and architecture

This thesis focuses on research in the field of anthropometric measurements of the adult population, its history, basic concepts and research itself, conducted under the author’s leadership of the NIS project at the Mendel University in Brno. The research results and its application in the field of interiors and furniture should be used to revise the architectural patterns and standards dealing with the relations on the axis between man – interior – furniture. It describes the relations of individual parameters, a person's height and weight, their development depending on age and sex, compares the height curve growth in Czech population and in Europe. The results of the work should serve as a basis for revising the existing typological principles and standards with regard to new results; in conclusion the author proposes conceptual changes of the fixed schemes in relations of man and interior.
Design of Combined Pram

The main aim of this master’s thesis is the design of combined child stroller which will be accepted the demands and needs of the users, not only children but also their parrents. Outside the observance of general technical, structural and ergonimical parameters should be the base of design simplicity, originality and creativity, which should bereflected to all shape of parts of the stroller, but also in addressing the functional and structural elements. The aim is therefore also move the the design and function of children's strollers combined on the next level up.
Design of Tram

The content of this diploma thesis is design of a low-floor tram, primarily intended for inner-city use. The thesis includes a brief summary of the historical development, analysis of current trends in tram design and analysis of currently used technical solutions. The main part is devoted to the design process, resulting in shape and graphical solution of the exterior and interior arrangement while respecting the structural and ergonomic requirements in respect of passengers and the driver of the vehicle.

Optimal layout of assembly workplaces and its effect on economical, logistic and procedural parameters of the manufacturing systems at an Automotive Lighting company

The master thesis deals with layout optimizing of pre-assembly workplaces in company Automotive Lighting Jihlava. Identification of actual status and analysis of defects was provided. Based of this investigation two versions of future ordering were compared. One of them was chosen by multi-criterion evaluation and detail plan was plotted. Ergonomic analysis by software simulation and economic balance were done too.
