Stages of human life in children's conceptions and in teaching
Bergmanová, Veronika ; Stará, Jana (referee) ; Dvořáková, Michaela (advisor)
The present thesis, entitled Stages of human life in children's conceptions and in teaching, deals with children's preconceptions about the stages of human life, as well as their treatment in teaching materials. The thesis comprises a theroetical and an empirical part. The former is divided into five chapters, with the first of them focused on key notions, the second describing the development of cognitive processes, the third and fourth chapters examine the framework educational programme for primary schools and textbooks of the subject "basics of humanities and natural science", and the final chapter is dedicated to the children's conceptions themselves. The empirical part also consists of five chapters. Its objective is to find out as much as possible about the conceptions of children within the stages of human life. The research of qualitative nature uses in-depth semi-structured interviews with sixteen children. The acquired data are analyzed by the open coding method and the subsequent method of exposing cards. The penultimate chapter features practical recommendations concerning school instruction related to this topic. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the ndings acquired during the research.

Conservation of quantity in preschool and younger school age
Hejlíková, Tereza ; Lukavský, Jiří (referee) ; Klusák, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to try to repeat the well-known experiment of Jean Piaget, which investigates the process of acquiring the notion of conservation of quantity and hence to reproduce his theory by examining present-day population of children. At the same time we have tried to question the theory and the answers were supposed to create kind of alternative theory and add a few new findings to it. At first we have studied relevant parts of Piaget's monography called The Child's Conception of Number (Piaget, 1997) so that we could understand his conclusions. We adopted his own design of experiment which was then slightly modificated in order to provide a space for our own experimental hypothesis. The experiment was carried out with the help of sixteen children in the age of 4 to 7,5 years. We used qualitative analysis to get our own interpretation of obtained data in the same way Piaget did in the past, except that we have also focused on particular childrens' reactions that led us to the answer to our experimental questions. In the last part of the thesis we have confronted our findings with those of Piaget and thus we have demonstrated a possibility of expanding Piaget's theory as well as taking a different point of view of it. As we could not identify (based on our own analysis) with all of Piaget's...

Study of angular and time characteristics of suspensions by using of elastic scattering
Peikertová, Pavlína ; Kočišová, Eva (advisor) ; Holoubek, Aleš (referee)
Elastic light scattering represents relatively simple and noninvasive technique to study angular dependencies of the scattered light intensity that contains important information about scattering objects. In the frame of this thesis the data from adapted computer controlled apparatus Photo-gonio-diffusometre type 42.000 were collected. Experimental set-up was upgraded to use it for small sample volumes. Two model systems were studied: polymer and latex suspensions and real systems: liposomal suspension of various sizes, as well. The size estimation by using of Guinier plot was performed from experimental data. This estimation is in good agreement with the defined sizes in case of model systems. For suspensions of liposomes the results are also in relatively good agreement with expected values. Aggregation process and subsequent sedimentation after addition of porphyrin CuTMPyP4 was observed for silver borohydrid colloid. Acquired time and angular dependencies were processed by factor analysis that is able to make a qualitative and temporal separation of both processes

Chalupský, Ondřej ; Sulženko, Jiří (advisor) ; Lázňovský, Michal (referee)
This bachelor thesis entitled "Audience Development using CRM and sale database systems for the purpose of audience development" treats the possibilities of using the Client Relationship Management marketing method and sale database systems for the purpose of audience development of cultural institutions within the region of the city of Prague. A few first chapters are theoretical: they deal with the theory of CRM in general, with the typology of acquired information, and the legislative context, that is, the question of the protection of personal data. The second part of the thesis is an analysis of means and methods used presently for audience development by diverse cultural institutions in the capital city, Prague. Specifically, this part of the thesis deals with the question of what type of data about audience are at these institutions´ disposal, how is the data acquired, and how is it processed once acquired. Taking into consideration both the theoretical principles as well as the results of the practical application research, the final part of the thesis is an attempt to define an assignment for the development of an optimal software audience development CRM application.

View af adult people with mental disability on thei leisure
Krajníková, Markéta ; Strnadová, Iva (advisor) ; Květoňová, Lea (referee)
The aim of this work is to acquire better understanding of the perception of leisure time by adult people with moderate mental retardation. The theoretical framework is based on defining the terms of mental retardation, adulthood, quality of life, leisure and on their mutual interaction and specifics concerning adult people with moderate mental retardation. Through the method of semi-structured interview and field-notes, data from 15 respondents with mental retardation and four social service providers were obtained and subsequently confronted with one another. The process resulted in identification of several discrepancies in answers given by these two groups concerning general views on leisure and selfdetermination in choosing leisure-time activities. Based on these findings recommendations were formulated in the field of possible changes and the necessity of further research in the near future. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
