Requirements life cycle for software development in the bank

This thesis deals with the introductory part of the requirements life cycle for software development in the bank, paying particular attention to the following: data collection methods; size estimation; prioritization; and scheduling. This work will compare different approaches appropriate for rigorous and agile methodologies. Analysis of the findings from practice in a small bank should help college graduates who find initial employment in the position of Business Analyst / IT Coordinator with only a basic orientation in this topic.
Bank security instruments in international trade

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the main bank security instruments which are used in international trade. The first chapter is devoted to a fundamental overview of bank co-acceptance of bill, documentary letter of credit, bank payment obligation and bank guarantee. The second and the third chapters compose the core of the thesis. They are dedicated to two traditional bank security instruments, specifically; the documentary letter of credit and the bank guarantee. These two chapters describe the main characteristics of these instruments, the obligations of the parties, and, finally, the advantages and the disadvantages which arise from these instruments for the involved parties.
Comparison of loyalty programs in selected financial institutions

This bachelor thesis focuses on loyalty programs of three financial institutions operating on the Czech market -- those three include Česká spořitelna, Era (the trademark of ČSOB Group) and GE Money Bank. The first part deals with the theory of marketing with a focus on loyalty programs. In the second part, the selected companies are described and their loyalty programs are analysed. The third part focuses on the aim of this thesis -- the comparison of selected loyalty programs and recommendation of optimal settings for a loyalty program.

This thesis compares financing of vehicle fleet by financial leasing and the loan in company Subterra Ltd.. The theoretical part describes the various options for financing long-term assets in the Czech Republic. The practical part deals in detail with comparing the offers from leasing and credit companies and the calculation of income and expenses associated with these forms of financing. In the end there is a comparison of different financing options at the time using discounted cash outflows and assessing the most effective solution for Subterra Ltd..
Selected psychological personality attributes of bank employees

The aim of the thesis is to define selected psychological personality attributes of bank employees. The thesis describes the personality traits, particularly the characteristics such as extroversion, introversion, intuition, sensuality, reasonableness, circumspection etc. Their representation frequency had been examined within selected sample of respondents. The thesis also concerns with the charakter parts in companies and individual attributes of these parts. The conclusion part summarizes prevailing characteristics and describes those appropriate or essentials for bank employees. The knowledge findings might be relevant for the further practical application of HR stuff and be come their support while recruiting employees within the bank sector.
Modern technologies and trends used for customer acquisition and retention

The banking market is characterized by a high supply and a competition. Innovative approach and added value in modern technologies may help the banks to increase a competitive advantage and loyalty of their clients, which may be a main factor for success. The aim of this thesis is a description of these tools and an evaluation of their utilization in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Analysis of Parameters of Mortgage Credits on the Czech Market

The object of the Diploma thesis is the analysis of mortgage loan parameters on the Czech market, their subsequent comparison and evaluation of the most advantage variants of housing financing. The thesis also deals with the conditions of mortgage loans providing. The comprarison is made on the most significant providers of mortgage loans, who have controlled in the long term 90 % of the market. Within the Diploma thesis is compared five mortgage products offered by Hypoteční banka, a. s., Česká spořitelna, a. s., Komerční banka, a. s., Raiffeisenbank, a. s. a UniCredit Bank, a. s. For analysis was compiled form that includes parameters, basic interest rates and charges for mortgage loans. The parameters are obtained from external and internal bank materials and structured interviews with mortgage specialists. The evaluation of products is used to assess the flexibility, complexity and costs of particular product. I find Hypotéka České spořitelny to be the most comprehensive and flexible product. The lowest interest rates offer Komerční bank with Hypoteční úvěr Plus and UniCredit Bank with Hypoteční úvěr Individual, the highest interest rates has Hypoteční banka with Hypoteční úvěr do 100 %. Hypotéka Klasik offered by Raiffeisenbank is the charges most gentle, the most demanding on charges is Hypoteční úvěr do 100 % offered by Hypoteční banka. The most advantageous mortgage loan can't be unequivocally evaluated. It depends on whether the client prefers the lowest repayment or the most comprehensive and flexible product by which is possible, for example, pay the extraordinary instalment.

This thesis focuses on financial analysis of Sberbank CZ. It examines the bank's financial health using the data from the bank's assets and liabilities, expenses, revenues and profits as well as profitability, liquidity and capital adequacy. All the results are compared within the banking sector using the Financial market supervision report.
Finanční analýza hotelové skupiny Accor z pohledu banky a investora

This thesis is focused on financial analysis of Accor hotel group. The purpose of this thesis is to identify and assess the financial position, financial health and performance of the company from the above-mentioned two perspectives, furthermore the monitoring of the development of the financial analysis and the analysis of changes during the period, also a comparison of selected indicators with industry and sector averages and lastly, a deepening of knowledge in the field of financial analysis. The aim of the work or the working hypothesis is to determine whether the selected company is prospective to the investor and sufficiently creditworthy for the bank or in general whether the company has passable financial position and performance. In order to achieve these objectives and purposes was chosen as the method of financial analysis. Other used methods are observation and comparison. These methods include, for example, financial techniques like horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis, as well as simple mathematical tools like averages and percentages and lastly accounting tools like ratios and trend analysis. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part deals with the theoretical definition of concept of financial analysis which is followed by related terms and second part dealt with the presentation of given company, application of theory in practice, summary and recommendation.
Investment opportunities of citizens in the Czech Republic

The aim of the Master Thesis is to find the suitable product for investing in capital markets for small investors. Partial aim is to fully and clearly describe the very principle of functioning of capital markets in a clear and understandable way. The aim is also analysis of selected investment instrument, evaluation of the risk and impact assessment of possible loss of funds to the investor, which has to be take into consideration in each investment. Since the thesis is about investing in the capital markets, the risk of loosing of the invested funds is relatively high. This thesis also characterizes the way in which this risk can be eliminated as much as possible to achieve the desired return on investment.
