Reliability of DNS tests in cunical practise
Stýblová, Jaroslava ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor) ; Demeková, Júlia (referee)
Introduction: Functional testing which is used in rehabilitation is mainly based on aspection and palpation. It is a subjective examination of a patient and you cannot find out specific physical quantities with this method. If you want to use functional tests in clinical practise it is necessary to determine the reliability of the tests. Aim: To determine the inter-rater reliability for the DNS tests and to create a detailed descriptive statistics and a new evaluation sheet. Materials and methods: There were six experienced evaluators who are trained for the DNS method. We have worked with a mixed group of patients. There were patients with health problems as well as patients without any difficulties (n = 10 women, average age - 34, 5, n = 4 men, average age - 35, 2). We used percentage agreement, Fleiss's kappa coefficients (κ) and P-value. Results: The research of DNS tests reliability is innovative. Evaluators of DNS tests usually agree with each other. In some cases there is a problem with using Fleiss's kappa coefficients (κ) because of the position of relative frequencies. In most tests we found out that the inter-rater reliability is good (κ ≥ 0.80), substantial (0.60 ≤ κ < 0.80) and moderate (0.40 ≤ κ < 0.60). Conclusion: The evaluation of one character in a case of one patient by three...

Höschlová, Eva ; Bahbouh, Radvan (advisor) ; Šípek, Jiří (referee) ; Lukavský, Jiří (referee)
Dissertation thesis: Reliability and validity of communication sociomapping: focused on peer-to-peer ratings in small work groups Author: Mgr. Eva Rozehnalová Supervisor: MUDr. Mgr. Radvan Bahbouh, Ph.D. Abstract: The theoretical part of the thesis shortly introduces the topic of group communication and identifies relevant influencing factors. The subsequent summary of the research studying the impact of communication on work group performance illustrates not only the importance of the group communication topic itself, but also the development of diagnostic methods in this field. Such methods are further summarised by focusing on their specific characteristics, differences and available validity and reliability data. The last chapter of the theoretical part briefly describes the sociomapping method measuring group communication with the up-to-date reliability and validity research. The empiric part of the thesis combines several studies performed to verify the quality of the sociomapping method in the field of group communication. The criterion validity of sociomapping visualization was studied as an accuracy of numeric data translation into distance matrices, the reliability was measured as an inter-rater agreement of interpreting sociomaps. The studies showed the sociomapping being highly relevant in...

Athletes do not show better results. Keywords: Motivation, motive, emotion, achievement motivation, adolescent.
Field tests relevancy (equipollence) of endurance predisposition of professional footballers
Paroulek, Martin ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Česák, Petr (referee)
Title: Field tests relevancy (equipollence) of endurance predisposition of professional footballers. Made by: Bc. Martin Paroulek Supervisor: Prof. Ing. Václav Bunc, Csc. Aims: Contribute to solve problems with defining the level of endurance predisposition of professional footballers. Methods: 10 professional footballers were tested. Their average age was 19,1±0,9 years, average weight was 69,2±2,5 kg and average height was 178±4,2 cm. Data was obtained from three functional load tests. Data was processed by means of correlative analysis. Assumed level of equipollence among load tests was defined 0,7. Results: We haven't found significant relation betweeen measured figures of VO2max laboratory load test and measured figures of field 2 km run test. We even haven't found significant relation between measured figures of VO2max laboratory load test and measured figures of field endurance 20 m shuttle run test. As we can see from the results, field tests cannot be considered as adequate compensation of laboratory tests. More research is needed at this field of survey to be able to confirm it or adjust it. We are aware of limits of our survey and its value of notice, for example number of probands etc. It was confirmed that 2 km run test has higher level of equipollence (0,41) in laboratory load test...
Reliability of evaluation in selected technical subjects
Konvičková, Hana ; Tvrzová, Ivana (advisor) ; Kasíková, Hana (referee)
v anglickém jazyce Annotation In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I deal with the definitions of school evaluation, conception of the current evaluation, types of evaluation, characteristics of evaluation, specifications of the secondary technical school evaluation, as well as the assessment in specialised subjects and reliability of the assessment as the condition of the objective evaluation. The empirical part deals with the level of reliability in the assessment of a set task in the subject - Commercial - Law Correspondence. The written and oral communication and written and electronic communication. The teachers of this subject, at three secondary technical schools in Prague 1, 4 and 9, were asked to give students a specific task and assess it according set criteria. One of the assessors was the teacher of the subject and I was the second one. The reliability was defined as the identity rate of the independent assessment of the same school tasks carried out by two assessors. In the summary I reflect the contribution and drawbacks of the research and the task assessment done by the other teachers and my own assessment. I try to suggest the steps for following the basic rules of criteria in business letters.

Šťastná, Johana ; Honsová, Šárka (advisor) ; Hendl, Jan (referee)
EVALUATION OF PARAGLIDING THEORY TEST ITEMS FOR PILOT LICENSE APPLICANTS Objectives: The aim of this work is to evaluate and optimize a set of paragliding the theoretical items appropriate for testing pilot license applicants of LAA ČR. Methods: This aim is realized by means of the theory of testing. Basic methods of testing form the background research of this work. The items were de- signed as multiple-choice, to select one correct answer. These items were assigned to the applicants for pilot licenses and were evaluated by the apparatus of testing. Microsoft Excel 2003 was used for collecting data and results evaluation. The computation according to the formulas in the theoretical part was performed in Matlab 2007b. Based on this analysis, the results were presented and optimization of these items was proposed. Results: Three hypotheses were examined in this work. The first dealt with a rela- tion between evaluated difficulty of test items and their points value, which was assigned by the LAA ČR. The second hypothesis concerned the number of used distractors. The third hypothesis was focused on the sensitivity of the items. The evaluated difficulty of test items matched items point value in 26 % of the number of items. 92 % of the alterna- tives were used and sufficient sensitivity had 78 % of...

Rudá, Eliška ; Vinopal, Jiří (advisor) ; Lupač, Petr (referee)
The Item response Theory and its Application in the Sociology Abstract The focus of this master's thesis is an item response theory, a modern methodological approach, which models a relationship between a latent variable and measured responses to the particular item. A theoretical introduction, which explains fundamentals of the theory, is followed by a comparison with the classical test theory and suggestions of its possible applications in a field of sociology. The thesis is completed with an illustrative example using real data to evaluate an instrument for measuring subjective quality of working life in the framework of item response theory. Keywords: Item response theory, scale, reliability, model, subjective quality of working life
