Slab bridge in Újezd at Brno

The subject of bachelor´s thesis is to design a bridge construction in Újezd u Brna. The bridge is part of a local road and it is used to transfer across the river Litava. The bridge construction is designed in two variants. The chosen variant is prestressed concrete construction with a lenght of 19,8 metres and a width of 5,6 metres. The calculation of loads is deal with software Scia Engineer 2012 and the results are verified with manual calculation. The construction is manual-calculated according to Eurocode.

Brick Building Reconstruction

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on reconstruction of brick apartment houses in terms of static load capacity. The thesis summarizes the requirements and information to evaluate the current state of brick buildings, contains both theoretical and practical calculations to assess the load capacity of masonry elements, and suggests possible measures for structures in unsatisfactory conditions.

Supporting structure of exhibition pavilion

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and stress analysis of the steel construction of an exhibition pavilion in Brno which utilises tensegrity in its load-bearing system. It also includes the assessment of the main load-bearing construction elements and of the details of selected connections. The thesis also contains the design documentation of the building.

Museum in Moravské Budějovice

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is to design and check load-carrying steel structure of a single-nave hall. It consists of main frames, whose distance between axes is 5,8 metres. Main frame consists of web-plate columns and a roof truss girder. Ground plan sizes of the hall are 34x40,6 metres and maximum height is 12,72 metres. Designed object is situated in Moravske Budejovice.

The Roofing of Terraces of a Stadium

My task was to propose and consider steel structure of roofing of a terraces on an athletic stadium. Terraces, with the ground-plan dimensions 12,0 x 80,0 m, are designed as a reinforced concrete structure and its structural analysis is not included in this thesis. Construction is situated in area of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, which meant, It had to be accounted with considerable variable loads (wind, snow), which is associated with enlargement of a cross-sections. Cross sections of the main elements were proposed and considered and also selected joints and details of the structure. Assigned drawings are included in attachments of the thesis.

Assesment of shopping atmosphere of selected retail chains in Prague in Spořilov

This thesis deals with the assessment of shopping atmosphere of three retail units in a designated area in Prague in its part called Spořilov. Author evaluates three different formats of sale of following multinationals: Ahold Czech Republic with its supermarket Albert, REWE Group with its Penny Market a discount unit and Tesco Czech Republic with its format of sale Tesco Express. The work is divided into several chapters. The first part defines the shopping atmosphere, then presents the residential unit Spořilov, finally talks about the main characteristics of selected retail chains in the theoretical part. There is a subjective evaluation of the selected retail units and marketing survey in the pracitical part. For final assessment was used the SWOT analysis.

Posouzení vlivu navrhované stavby‚ činnosti nebo změny využití území na krajinný ráz (metodický postup případového hodnocení konkrétních záměrů)

Cílem metodického postupu je stanovení způsobu, principů a jednotlivých fází posouzení vlivu navrhovaného záměru (staveb, činnosti nebo využití území) na krajinný ráz na základě definice pojmů § 12 zákona č. 114/1992 Sb., o ochraně přírody a krajiny v platném znění. Jedná se o odborný nástroj, prakticky využitelný v rozhodovací činnosti orgánů ochrany přírody a aplikovatelný ve většině běžných případů. Metodický postup případového hodnocení bude využit k jednotnému a standardizovanému posuzování navrhovaných záměrů na krajinný ráz. Posouzení zpracované podle tohoto metodického postupu představuje objektivizovaný podklad pro rozhodování dle § 12 zákona, ohraničující možnosti neadekvátního užívání subjektivních pohledů na hodnocení.
