Comics of the Czech magazine Ohníček in the period of 1968-71: semiotic analysis
Řezníková, Ivana ; Šoltys, Otakar (advisor) ; Klabíková Rábová, Tereza (referee)
The topic of the thesis is the genre of comics in the Czech magazine Ohníček during the early period of normalization: the text is based on a detailed analysis of eleven comics that were published in the magazine between years 1968-71 (season 19-21). As far as the genre criteria are concerned, the analysed comics came closer to adventurous stories that were very popular in the 60/70s. At the same time, the original visual expression changed so that it was more suitable to child readers. Three of the analysed comics are comic series where the particular episodes are connected to each other by an adventurous narrative storyline. The eight others are comic strips with the narrative type of gag or fable. When examining the particular comics, the focus was on several aspects: the use of language, visual expression, story articulation and specific distinctive aspects. Differences in those aspects made the comics mutually different and deviating from the classics of genre. Both the graphic form and the story line of the analysed comics were determined by the fact that they were published in a children magazine. As results of the analysis, hero types and the resemblance of the fiction world according to the narrative type are descript and a comparison with European and American comics tradition is given.

Ilja Zeljenka and his Organ Activity
Zaťková, Iveta ; Černý, Pavel (advisor) ; Tůma, Jaroslav (referee)
Ilja Zeljenka was one of the most impressive Slovak composers generation, which formed under the influence of musical classics of 20th century and European avant-garde in 50s and 60s. His work of art was distinctly style individualized since the first opuses. In forming of Z´s musical accent there are several notable aspects - from neoclassicism (which became the basis of his next creation), across postweber concepts, influence of New (Age?) music and expressionistic features of the 60s to folklore-inspired creation and neo-romantic orientations in the 70s. Getting beyond tradition in effort of colorful expressive nuances, IZ sketched new sound temper and form, and that´s why his music was so popular in Slovakia, but also in abroad. For his production he was awarded with several domestic and foreign prizes. I divided my work into multiple chapters, starting with CV, compositional development of his work and focusing on analysis of his organ composals.

GNSS Deformation Measurement of Railway Structure
Buday, Michal ; Bureš, Jiří (referee) ; Švábenský, Otakar (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the train bridge shift using the satellite geodesy methods. Introductory part of the thesis is devoted to GNSS basis. The following part discribe work with commercial software Leica Geo Office. Results of calculations were transformed to local topocentric frame. In this frame were compared differencies between GNSS meassurment and classical terrestrial methods. Part of this thesis is to consider tropospheric refraction influence based on used tropospheric model. The end of this thesis is devoted to consider hypothesis that reference point which was considered as solid does not show trend of changing it's location. For this purpuse BERNESE GPS Software was used. GNSS meassurments were linked to the nearest points of permanent GNSS networks. Results are documented numerically and graphically.

Determinism, Path-depedence and Uncertainty: A Post-Keynesian Perspective
Máslo, Lukáš ; Chytil, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Janíčko, Martin (referee) ; Pastoráková, Erika (referee)
The thesis deals with analysis of conceptual-methodological issues examined in the framework of post-keynesian economics. The author´s goal is to supply a solution to the problem of a definition of determinism/non-determinism for both deterministic and stochastic systems and also to the problem of the prevailing confusion which surrounds the notion of reversibility/irreversibility in both path-dependent and traditional-equilibrist systems. The author regards the determinism/non-determinism problem as essentially linked to the problem of a definition of fundamental uncertainty. The key issues are being identified in the "problem of a generator of endogenous shocks" and the "selection - creation problem". Finding solutions to these enables us to take a stand on the validity/invalidity of the classical dichotomy, in the eyes of the author. Davidson´s interpretation of ergodicity and O´Donnell´s critique of this are being presented and, drawing on the latter, along with Álvarez-Ehnts´ critique, the author rejects a simplifying pattern of Davidson´s, according to which neoclassical economics is based on the ergodic axiom. The author suggests a solution to the "selection - creation problem" consisting in distinguishing epistemological determinism from ontological determinism on the one hand, and epistemological determinism from epistemological non-determinism on the other hand. While selection is a characteristic feature of epistemological determinism and, in effect, the realm of "fundamental certainty", creation is referred to by the author as a characteristic feature of epistemological non-determinism, i. e., in effect, the realm of fundamental uncertainty. The author regards the "problem of a generator of endogenous shocks" a self-contradictory notion, based on the principle of causality and the law of non-contradiction, and suggests a solution to the problem consisting in rejection of the concept of shock endogeneity. At the same time, the author rejects Davidson´s "fundamental neoclassical article of faith" rhetoric, based on the first cause argument implied by the principle of causality. In opposition to Davidson, the author regards fundamental uncertainty being of a basically epistemological nature, consisting in our ignorance of the "ultimate law of change", the "Devine formula". Unlike O´Donnell, however, who puts stress on the element of epistemological uncertainty in his epistemological approach to uncertainty, the author also puts stress on the element of ontological certainty, consisting in our knowledge of the existence of the "Devine formula", apart from our epistemological uncertainty.
