The theme of this diploma thesis is GPS devices in teaching as a means of developing inter-subject relations between educational fields of Geography and English language at the 2nd stage of elementary school (on the example of ORP Chotěboř). Presented work consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part includes the methodology of creating both parts, where the author introduces the whole process of making her work. The first part contains the theoretical background, where the author briefly introduces the basic concepts; the chapter focus on GPS devices, their potential use in teaching and the possibilities for inter-subject relations. The integral part of the theoretical part, especially for its thematic setting, is the study of curriculum documents. The practical part of this work contains educational activities that connecting curriculum of the local region, ie. geography, with English language. All presented educational activities consist of the introductory part and a methodical commentary.

Methodological approaches to worksheets designed for field teaching of geomorpholog​y Abstract The purpose of this work was to determine whether there are rules and relations when it comes to the methodological approaches to worksheets created for fieldwork in natural sciences. Another object was to analyze the potential of Prague for geomorphological fieldwork. 101 worksheets from natural sciences were analyzed ​​in various categories, based on the research of literature. The data was processed even further with the use of statistics. Interesting geomorphological sights in Prague and their potential for fieldwork were defined after the research of scientific literature. The analysis has shown that those not designed for the use during fieldwork were more diverse than those designed for the use during fieldwork. Worksheets used during fieldwork were found to be more homogenic from the perspective of length, number of questions and the participation of components used in the worksheet. Field education and practical experiments in meteorology and climatology within geography Abstract By means of my theasis I have tried to prove that there are some experiments and activities for field education we can use to support geographical lessons focused on meteorology and climatology. First I describe the advantages and disadvantages of different organizing forms for the education. Next I mention the main benefits of field education, its structure and goals and I also remind its placement in RVP ZV and RVP G. In the next chapture I try to show differences between demonstration teaching and practical students work which are the kinds of methods using in practical experiments. The methods, which are used during teaching, are up to the schools according to their curiculum. In the last theoretical part I prove the meteorology and climatology education at schools is part of geographical education, especially in the first and fifth grade of 8 years grammar school or in the first grade of four year grammar school. Geographical fieldwork: transmissive and constructivist approach to fieldwork in the Hvozdnice region

The thesis compares the constructivistic with transmissive geography tuition approach on Hvozdnice region model. The teoretical part defines field work, the didactic learning theories and focuses on closer description and comparison the constructivistic with transmissive pedagogical approach. The practical part brings a complete geographical characteristics of the specified area and subsequently SWOT analysis which provided crucial issues and generalization of the proposed field work worksheets. The proposed worksheets of the work field which deal with exploring of the local region are created in two variants- constructivistic and transmissive. Although there was no change in the thematic focus of the worksheets, there is the obvious difference between realization and achieving the objectives which is based on philosophy of each of the selected models of learning. Scientific evaluation of the some localities: The thesis Scientific evaluation of some of the locations is focused on detailed description of botanical conditions of this area and possible utilization of the gained knowledge in the education. The thesis has three parts. The first part is specialized in charasteristics of natural conditions of the area. The second part consists of description biotops of the area and summarises results of personal botanical research. The didactic part proposes utilization of the knowledge in the education and the posibility of the out-door fieldwork for pupils of basic school and secondary school. Education projects focused on the area of Milíčov forest and ponds

Title: Educational projects focused on the area of Milíčov forest and ponds. This graduation thesis deals with project education in the field of natural monument Milíčov forest and ponds. It directly borders with southern city housing estate. Result of this work is a collection of materials focusing on environmental education and upbringing pupils on 2nd stage of basic schools, which are located near this monument. These are mainly a methodology for teachers, manual to the project education, worksheets for pupils and creative solution of worksheets for teachers. The starting point for creating projects has been a partial study, questionnaire and open discussion with students. Teoretical part at its beginning describes general conservation and special nature protection, to place issues in a boarder context. The historical aspect is also mentioned. In the thesis are also defined Milíčov forests and ponds characteristics, taking into account their rarities. It is mainly dealt with occurring of important species and specially protected species in this area. In my work is also given the emphasis on the General educational program, environmental education, analysis of schoolbooks and organizational forms of teaching. Methods efficiency of geography fieldwork

This bachelors work has been created with the purpose of answering the question: "How can we increase the efficiency of fieldwork methods?". This has been answered by creating a qualitative questionnaire aimed at geography teachers at grammar schools, and also a pilot research has been contemplated. Conceptually, this work is split into two parts: theoretical part and methodological-empiric part: The Theoretical part. This is divided to three units. The first unit explains the content of the main terms connected with field geography education. It offers different variations of field education and the reader is introduced to meanings and benefits of this educational style for students. The second unit deals with the term "education efficiency and gives its possible homonyms and synonyms. By means of efficiency scheme and education levels it refers to the particular aspects which influence it. The third unit is focused on literature analysis. The Methodological-empiric part. The objective of this bachelor´s thesis is to present an importance of environmental education and awareness, and his inclusion in the current concept of preschool education. The thesis responds to the timelines and urgency of environmental protection. The work includes long-term educational project, which is divided into five program blocks. It allows children to gain their own experience of nature, develops knowledge about themselves and other people. There are the games included a form field of education, where the easiest way to create the necessary views, attitudes and inclinations to protect and improve the environment.

The bachelor's thesis "Outdoor school from spring to winter" deals with the influence of field teaching on the locomotor development of preschool children. Based on specialized literature its theoretical part summarizes the influence of the natural environment on the child's development. It describes the benefits of field teaching, it deals with the term "Outdoor school" nowadays and in the past and with the locomotor development of children. The practical part includes an elaborated yearlong project on an outdoor school focused on child's locomotor developmend locomotor actt.
