Coexistence of the Czech population the frontier with the German minority and development of their relations

This paper is an attempt at mapping how Czech ? German relations envolved in the border area nearby Český Krumlov. It is based on theories concerning the historical development of how Czech and German speakers have lived together since 13 to 21 century. The assessed theories concern the history of interaction between both nations living in border country - especially the events connected with coexistence, with the World Wars and with what happened immediately after World War II. The paper focuses on the changes in demographic structure and in the attitudes of both nations´citizens. The practical part is concentrated on the present ? day composition of border area population, current attitudes and opinions, family bonds, the ralationship between both nations, and the frequency of and reasons for cross ? border visits. It was the author´s aim to find out the Czech population´s attitude towards historical events that had an impact on today´s relations and to see how these attitudes have envolved in the light of what happened after World War II and after 1989.

Foreign trade of the USA from mid 90's to present

This paper examines foreign trade of the economy of the United States between years 1995 and 2009. First chapter describes the USA in general and focuses on position of its economy in the world. Development during recent economic crisis is also included in this chapter. Second chapter details american economy in the last 15 years and indicates that trade deficits are a chronic disease of the US. economy. Trade policy of the United States is discussed in the third chapter. The most important trade agreements which the USA have made with other countries are listed as well. The last chapter analyses the commodity and teritorial structure of american foreign trade. It finds out that the worst situation for the USA is in trade with China and in commodities. Final summary recapitulates previous chapters and explains why it is very difficult to make predictions for the future.

Enterprise architecture

This work analyses the enterprise architectures questions. Enterprise architecture is relatively familiar in the field of informatics today. It covers discipline of modeling and planning development of information technology, especially in wide organizations. Enterprise architecture is an important branch under the conditions that system complexity exceeds brain capacities of workers. The first part deals with analysis of enterprise architecture, primarily structure, content and relationship to whole enterprise. The most important part of this section is a characterization of enterprise architecture frameworks that facilitate entire process of formation. The second part deals with introduction of three essential architecture frameworks: Zachman, TOGAF and FEAF. Subsequently FEAF is compared with two previous frameworks. The conclusion of this work contains short comparison of features and contents all three mentioned enterprise architecture frameworks.

The defensibility of Slovak tax reform

Bachelor thesis "The defensibility of Slovak tax reform" is divided into two parts, theoretical and analytical one. The firstly mentioned one describes the primary bases thus the deficiencies of the previous tax system which the initiators of tax reform resulted from. With the goal to abolish them the tax reform was projected and its characteristic features implemented into Slovak tax system are also described in theoretical part. Second part analyses the impacts of the tax reform on revenues side of state budget from the time of its implementation, it means since 2004, till nowadays and consequently it adverts to the correlation between the tax and economic development. The aim of thesis is by means of development analysis to come to the decision whether the objectives of tax reform were achieved or not.

The modern-days re-emigrants from the Romanian Banat, their expectations linked to resettlement, adaptation and integration in Czechia

First Czech villages were founded in the region of Banat, Romania, in the first half of the 19th century. The original impetus had come from the administration who intended to populate the mountainous regions of the then military border. To this day a none too numerous community of Czechs surrounded by other nations have kept their original Czech traditions, speak exclusively Czech, and proudly profess their roots. In the course of the 20th century these Czech villages were hit by three waves of re-emigration which resulted in a portion of the locals relocating to their ancestral country. The last wave of re-emigration began in 1989, following the reopening of the borders and the simplification of the whole process of relocation, and it essentially continues to this day. Young people in particular come to the Czech Republic hoping to find here a better job, higher wages and better quality of life, which goes hand in hand with it. These expectations are often exaggerated and unrealistic, though. The quality of a communication in every organization is shown in a level of management and influence the relationship among co-workers. All at once has an impact to general organization habit and undermines the processes. Leaving the old concept of a management of organization, considering communication as a direction flow, leads to raise an awareness of a communication process itself as well as of its conditions. The diagnostic helps to recognize the current situation and identify the problematic processes displayed in a communication process flow. The theoretical part of this dissertation is devoted to the topic of an Organization and its development with reference to communication. This supports the empirical part of the dissertation where the diagnostic of an organization realized in non-profit market segment organization is presented. The research work is focusing on two communication layers and brings the knowledge of either a communication process or its significant aspects as of management, organizing, planning and working processes. The aim of this thesis is to verify the feasibility of a cleaning company founded in Prague, which will operate not only in Prague but also in the vicinity of Prague. At the same time making sure that such businesses can be successful. Another objective is to determine the payback period on investment of funds with dynamic and statistical methods for evaluating investments. The overall structure of the work characterize two points. The first theoretical part describes the theoretical methods and procedures for the processing of a business plan, which is then used in the practical part.

The beginning of intervention criteria for reason of suspect for the CAN syndrom in the family

Ve své práci jsem se zaměřila na zkompilování kritérií pro zahájení intervence z důvodu podezření na týrání nebo zneužívání dítěte v rodině a na syndrom CAN z pohledu jeho vzniku a případného odhalení. Jako každá oblast lidského života mají i negativní společenské jevy, jakým je i týrání a zneužívání dětí v rodině výrazné individuální prvky. Čím více aspektů daný jev skládá, tím konkrétněji je třeba se mu věnovat. Je vždy třeba nahlížet na dítě a jeho rodinu v kontextu její aktuální situace, dlouhodobého vývoje i sociálního okolí. Při diagnostice syndromu CAN je třeba sledovat osobnost a způsoby chování konkrétního dítěte (a jeho potenciálních sourozenců), pečovatelů, vztahy mezi nimi navzájem, i možnou historii jejich vztahu, také jejich osobní historii a nakonec i vztahy a postoje rodiny a jejího sociálního okolí. Čím komplexnější je obrázek rodinné situace, tím větší pravděpodobnost, odhalení týrání nebo zneužívání dítěte. Proto jsem se snažila sebrat co nejvíce poznatků o oběti, pachateli i rodině, ve které k týrání dochází. Jedním z problémů, na který jsem během zpracovávání práce narazila, byly protichůdné názory odborníků na některé aspektů, zejména predispozic určitých lidí nebo rodin ke zvýšenému riziku vzniku týrání nebo zneužívání. Termination of employment - psychological and social aspects

This bachelor work is focused on subject of the employment termination, incurred consequences and possible relief and professional help to manage this situation. Psychological and social aspects are especially pointed out. There are mentioned other categories as well as the aspects which are concerned by the unemployment problematics. Unemployment aspects are defined in the context of the job importance and its place in a human life. I am also trying to specify the concept of personality, work motivation and career as the key aspects of the employment itself. Further I am trying to answer the question, how all these elements influence quitting a job and incurred unemployment and helping to manage this complicated situation for unemployed people. I am resuming possible reasons for the employment termination in two lines, the reasons for an employee as well as for an employer. I am further considering the subject of the unemployment, the specifics and other aspects which are related to the job termination. The consequence and the aspects when quitting job are completed with the methods how to deal with this complicated situation.
