V první části bakalářské práce je rozebrána výchozí pozice tranzitivních ekonomik, metodologická východiska s podrobnějším rozvedením charakteristik fází cyklického vývoje a jednotlivé indikátory analýzy a monitorování hospodářského cyklu. Druhá část je zaměřena na empirické poznatky ve vybraných regionech, respektive ve vybraných zemích, a komparace hlavních charakteristik hospodářského cyklu.

The antimissile system base in the Czech Republic in the public
Adámek, Stanislav ; Tuček, Milan (advisor) ; Kuchař, Pavel (referee)
The aim of thesis "The antimissile base in the Czech Republic" is to introduce the decision making process concerning a radar base, which would be located in Brdy, Czech Republic. Interpretation of this process was based on media monitoring and collected data from public opinion surveys through theoretical concept of risk society by Ulrich Beck. The whole discussion about the military base is emotional and therefore confusing. The base should serve as a protection from the risk of a rocket aggression, nevertheless, on the other hand it is viewed as a source for another threats eg. public are defining base like possible target from unknown potential enemy i.a. like source of harmful X-rate too etc. Because this manufactured risks are product o f human activity, there is a huge potential to assess the level of risk that is being produced, or that is about to be produced. As it is the destiny of the Risk society to multiply threats. Under these circumstances the merit of the discussion has blured definitely. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The effect of social standing on lifestyle in the Czech Republic
Špaček, Ondřej ; Šanderová, Jadwiga (advisor) ; Tuček, Milan (referee)
Ondřej Špaček Vliv sociálního postaveni na životni styl v České republice Summary There can be identified two basic theoretical positions in the discussion o f the association between lifestyles or tastes and social standing. The theory of homology is derived from the work o f Bourdieu and the early ideas about elite and mass culture. This theory supposes that the hierarchy of the social standings is mirrored in the hierarchy of the tastes. High classes usually consume the high culture while lower classes like the popular culture. This idea is opposed by thoughts of some post-modem thinkers. Such authors as Beck or Bauman accent process of individualisation that disrupts strict connection between the social standing and the lifestyle. They say that the influence of socioeconomic determinants on the lifestyle is diminishing in today's western societies. These two theoretical positions could be understood as two opposing hypotheses that should be tested by an empirical research. The empirical core of this paper is based on the marketing research data from survey Market & Media & Lifestyle 2004 (MEDIAN). I construct the typology of lifestyles represented by the patterns of consumption preferences. Four areas of lifestyle preferences are taken into account: culture consumption, eating, travelling and fashion....

Inflation Differentials in the European Union: Panel Data Analysis of the Driving Factors for Inflation Differentials in the New Member States
Koprnická, Kamila ; Horváth, Roman (advisor) ; Šmídková, Kateřina (referee)
In this rigorous thesis, we analyse inflation differentials in the EU. The aim of the study is twofold. First, based mainly on literature review, we describe long-term trends and potential causes of inflation differentials in the euro area as well as in the new EU member states. Second, we examine the driving factors for inflation differentials in a panel of the new European Union member states via-à-vis the euro area in 1997-2006. In particular, we use the methodology of the influential study by Honohan and Lane (2003) exploring the role of nominal effective exchange rate, cyclical conditions, fiscal policies and price convergence in inflation differentials across the euro area countries. The application of the same methodology and explanatory variables enables us direct comparison with results of Honohan and Lane (2003). Our results suggest that the given factors are important determinants of inflation differentials in the new EU member states, too. Exchange rate appreciation and a higher price level in the new EU member states are associated with a narrower inflation differential vis-à-vis the euro area, while a fiscal deficit and a positive output gap seem to contribute to a higher inflation differential. Nevertheless, the effect of price convergence on inflation differentials is found to be...

A Little Piano School and The New Piano School of Z. Janžurové and M. Borové - A Modern Comprehensive System for Piano Instruction
Janíková, Hana ; Tichá, Libuše (advisor) ; Palkovská, Jana (referee)
My diploma thesis focuses on the issue of instructive piano methodology. My aim was to introduce Klavírní školička (The Piano Method for Children), four parts of Nová klavírní škola (The New Piano Method) and its addendum "Od peřinky ke školičce a ještě trochu dále..." (From the cradle to the teaching method for infants, and a little further...) as a complex piano method that encompasses the stage from a three-year old child up to the secondary phase of elementary art school, using the lates methodic approaches. I have analyzed methodic approaches in the individual parts and compared the piano method with three other selected piano methods. My selection thereof was based on the frequency of use in Czech art schools (past and present), and on the methodic approach. The practical section consist in the questionnaire circulated among teacher in musical art schools in Zlín, concerning their experience with the Nová klavírní škola method.

Environmental conditions during the carp pond harvesting
PAVLÍČEK, Michal
Pond harvesting is an integral part of fish farming procedures in pond culture and overall fish production. This study was aimed at the evaluation of environmental conditions during pond harvesting, based on the comparison of values monitored in the trawl-net with fish located in a harvesting pit and outside it. The monitored parametres comprised the oxygen content and saturation, temperature, pH, conductivity and turbidity. The monitoring was performed on three autumn harvests (Potěšil, Rod, Jaroslavický dolní) and two spring harvests (Vrbenský přední and Vrbenský nový), always during the fish removal from the net (seine). The monitored determinants were recorded in 30-min intervals inside the net with fish and outside it in 15m distance. During the statistical comparision of the oxygen content and saturation in the net and outside it with the count on fish biomass was statistically signifiant differences in the four of twelve raids evaluated, which means keeping fishes in the net during the yielding was adequately treated by installation of fresh water jet. When the fresh water jet had been stopped worsen of the conditions in the fish net and even in the harvesting pit appeared.
