Dynamic model of human resources in project management

This thesis is focused on dynamics of soft factors influencing workers during projects. These factors include motivation, workplace atmosphere, team synergy of workers and their emotions, and attribute of project manager who manages the project. Identification of soft factors and their relationships was achieved by examination of scientific literature in psychology and system dynamics. Description of managing project matters was achieved by examination of scientific literature dealing with project management. The main objective of this thesis is to create a dynamic model which simulates behavior of these soft factors influencing the project staff. The primary metric of the model is efficiency of workers participating on the project based on input parameters. Validation of the model was achieved by verification of historic behavior of key elements. Results of validation experiments correspond with historic behavior with roughly 95 % accuracy. At the end of this thesis is presented an ICT project case study. Based on the results of simulation experiments is performed a scenario analysis which tries to bring possible suggestions for project management.

Social meaning of physical exercise presented by some of the Czech women's magazines

The subject of the thesis is meanings of the physical exercising presented in the Czech women magazines, which I explored through qualitative content analysis of the articles focused on exercising. Three relevant frames or research areas emerged from foreign literature, which became the frames of the analysis: value of the exercise related to the body, the exercise as possible social field and gender level of these practices. I was specifically interested, if the exercise is presented as activity that helps to create socially disciplined body or individually restituted body for personal needs. Or if the exercise creates specific social field - sphere with specific relationship, rules and capital and if the gender is an important factor, connected to the presentation of the exercises in magazines, focused on women. The results show that the exercise is activity that creates the restituted body so as the disciplined body. It is not possible to define, if it is specific social field. The articles content so positive indications as those, which do not comply with the social field definition. Ideal femininity and ideal woman body should be reached by exercising. Characterisation of the cell line TRAMP-C2 side population, mouse model of prostate cancer

Side population is a minor subpopulation (SP) of some cell lines, exporting staining dye Hoechst 33342 out of their cytoplasm. It is discussed as a possible source of "cancer stem cells", "tumour initiating cells" or "metastasis initiating cells". However, broad literature suggest, that stemness and other privileged properties of SP are very variable between different cell types, cell lines and stage of disease. Cell lines TRAMP are the only widely available murine models for testing of prostate cancer therapy. We noticed in literature a mention about existence of 1-2% of cells constituting side population, but detailed characteristic have not been described until now. In this diploma thesis, we worked on characterisation of SP of the TRAMP-C2 cell line in comparison to other cells (nonSP). In the first part, we compared stem properties of SP and nonSP. We started with checking the existence of SP by its verapamil sensitivity. Using mRNA analysis, we showed that neither SP nor nonSP have increased c-Kit expression and that there are no differences in Bmi-1 expression. We found that SP is heterogenic mixture of CD24-CD44-, CD24-CD44+ and CD24+CD44+ cells, while nonSP is almost solely CD24-CD44+. Suspension of tractorcabin

This Master's thesis deals with construction design suspension of tractor's cabin. At the very beginning there is an overview of different possibilities suspension from others producers. Afterwards there is my constructional working from selection variant of suspension to final project with all details. The another part of my thesis is strain-stress analysis of significant parts of construction and suggestion of comparing the method with the previous variant of suspension.

The theme of this thesis are forms of advertising on social networks and consumer protection. The main informational source is above all research of specialized literature, articles, online or other sources in connection with author's own observations and analysis of the respective legislation and ultimately the comparison with author's gained professional experience. The result of this work is a comprehensive overview and introduction to the law of social networks and advertising, demonstration of the importance and significance of this topic and finally evaluation of the effectiveness of legislation that protects consumers in the environment of social networks.

Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic

Project: Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic Aim of the project: The aim of the project is to compile an overview about Paralympic and selected sports that are done by visually impaired people here in the Czech Republic. The overview includes basic information about specification of individual sports of visually impaired persons as well as updated description of organization of sports for such disabled persons. Based on these facts it makes suggestions to improve the current state. Method: To achieve the aim of this project, an author made an analysis of literature specialized in the given issue, compared the selected documents and personally joined several sport events aimed at visually impaired persons. Results: The current state of organization and direction of the Czech Blind Sportsmen Association is not optimum. The suggestions to improve it are stated in discussion. Dimensional transmutation in quantum theory

This work deals with two models - from the quantum eld theory it is the massless scalar electrodynamics (the so-called Coleman-Weinberg model) and from quantum mechanics it is the contact (-function) potential (in two dimensions) - that are apparently invariant under some sort of scale transformations and thus they, in suitably chosen units, contain only dimensionless parameters. It turns out that even in the quantum-mechanical case one has to add an additional procedure to the formal denition of the model and that the use of dierent physical regulators leads to the same results, that furthermore agree with the predictions of the mathematically rigorous method of self-adjoint operator extensions. In this work, we present detailed calculations supporting this result. Contrary to the common literature, we do so in a straightforward manner, which can be followed step by step (with all the necessary elements of functional analysis summarised in the Appendix). In quantum eld theory we apply a similar approach, when we "rediscover" the results of the abstract functional methods in the ordinary perturbation theory. In its framework, we further show how to obtain predictions also for other quantities than particle masses.

Legal position of Liechtenstein in European Economic Area

The thesis defines legal status of Liechtenstein in the European Economic Area. It is divided into three consecutive chapters. The first chapter consists of two parts - general and economic characteristics of Liechtenstein. The general characteristic is based on the author's experience supported by scientific literature, while economic subchapter is based largely on statistical data. The second chapter focuses on the legal status of Liechtenstein and its position on international scene. The position is viewed from two perspectives, which affects it the most. First, from the perspective of participation in selected international organizations and second, the influence of close relationship with Switzerland. The last chapter analyses international litigation to which Liechtenstein is a party. The aim of this thesis is to define the legal relations of Liechtenstein, which forms its position, using the methods of analysis.

Possibilities of Big Data use for Competitive Intelligence

The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate the use of Big Data for the methods and procedures of Competitive Intelligence. Among the goals of the work is a toolkit for small and large businesses which is supposed to support their work with the whole process of Big Data work. Another goal is to design an effective solution of processing Big Data to gain a competitive advantage in business. The theoretical part of the work processes available scientific literature in the Czech Republic and abroad as well as describes the current state of Competitive Intelligence, and Big Data as one of its possible sources. Subsequently, the work deals with the characteristics of Big Data, the differences from working with common data, the need for a thorough preparation and Big Data applicability for the methods of Competitive Intelligence. The practical part is focused on analysis of Big Data tools available in the market with regard to the whole process from data collection to the analysis report preparation and integration of the entire solution into an automated state. The outcome of this part is the Big Data software toolkit for small and large businesses based on their budget. The final part of the work is devoted to the classification of the most promising business areas, which can benefit from the use of Big Data the most in order to gain competitive advantages and proposes the most effective solution of working with Big Data. Among other benefits of this work are expansion of the range of resources for Competitive Intelligence and in-depth analysis of possibilities of Big Data usage, designed to help professionals make use of this hitherto untapped potential to improve market position, gain new customers and strengthen the existing user base.
